I just came across this on youtube: youtube.com/watch?v=YvUuIAj5mDgIt's not official, but according to the author, it's roughly like an official trailer shown in Japan at something called Jump Festa 2008. It sheds more insight into Ven, Terra, and Master X, although Aqua isn't seen at all, and very little is revealed about Mickey and Master X's companion from the Birth by Sleep video.

Ikkin here with the Squenix party blowout, KH edition. ^_^ Lots of info on the new KH games coming out of DK∑3713. First off, the least interesting, Coded. Still a cell-phone game, so who knows when we get it. Has a release date of release date of Winter '08 in Japan. Not really much information about it that I can find, probably because English-speaking sites tend to ignore cellphone games. Second is 358/2 Days. 1UP has demo impressions, and seems to think Squenix tried to do too much on the DS. =/ IGN has a trailer preview as well as the gameplay impressions, and seems to be more positive about it. Anyway, Org member XIV now has a name - Xion (well, I think that's what it is; the site said "Shion," but there's no X in Japanese). She apparently looks rather much like Kairi, which could lead to some interesting speculation. I haven't yet found a translated transcript of the trailer, but there should be one sooner or later. Lastly is Birth By Sleep, which seems to be the definitive versions, by all accounts. 1UP's impressions are far more positive here, and explains the battle system rather well. I was kind of worried when Nomura said it would be a card system, but cooldown times for special abilities should work well (and reminds me of The World Ends With You, which I liked a lot). IGN has gameplay impressions as well, which explain more about what was happening storywise, but only mention Terra's section, since they didn't get to play Ven's. I haven't found a trailer transcript yet, but I did find some sketches from the things in the closed theater, which includes our first look at Aqua from the front (on the far right) and the new enemy, the Unbirth, at the bottom of the page. And... that's about it for now. If I find any new info, I'll post it here for you all to see. ^_^

and the new enemy, the Unbirth, at the bottom of the page. "Unbirth", what a typical Kingdom Hearts bad guy name. Also, nonsequitor observation. Has anyone else noticed this: Kairi's hair is red, Namine's is yellow, and Aqua's is blue. Interesting, no? I wonder if there's some significance.(Probably not with Namine, since both her and Roxas are blond and I think both were spawned by Sora's(Ven's?) heart.)

Hm, is it true what I've heard about Re:US coming stateside? I sure hope so. <3 Not the best gameplay, but TOTALLY awesome plot. I also hope it is not for the PS3. >( And I also hope that Vexen gets a better VA in English. ^^;

I also hope it is not for the PS3. >( And I also hope that Vexen gets a better VA in English. ^^; I'd consider it only a rumor for now. I've heard of it from this game forum that I ghost at, which tends to be good for rumors because people are banned for bad ones, though I'm still not entirely convinced. If they were going to do it, they should have done it at E3, considering there really aren't any other US conventions to reveal it at. But, who knows? KHInsider has a very interesting report from the DK∑3713 party - they've got the entire transcripts from both the trailers and the gameplay demos written up. It's got some interesting things, like something close to confirmation that Aqua is the third playable character, and a description of XIV (who apparently looks like Aqua, sounds like Kairi, and wields a Keyblade - I'm still gonna guess she's Aqua's Nobody). And Birth By Sleep continues to sound even more awesome. ^_^ "Freeze" status effect sounds fun =3 (...well, as long as you're the one inflicting it).

I wasn't sure if I should put this in Things People Say, or here, but since people that haven't played KH2 probably won't get them as well as people that have, I decided to put them here. A few days ago, I saw my friend Isaac play the end of KH2 for the first time. It's the first time I've ever actually seen a KH game played, with the exception of KH-Vids boss battles. Here's a few things that were said: Isaac: *trying to break down a giant door* Sora: [something along the lines of] This is it! It's OVER! Me: Did you just say "this is it, it's over" to a door? Isaac: Yeah... Me:*to Sora* You're talking to a door, you moron! During the fight with the guy that just sits there... Sora: Get back! Me: He doesn't move! During the fight with the metal dragon... Me: Wait a second, that thing you're riding has the Nobody symbol on it. Isaac: Yeah... Me: Why would they build one of those? Isaac: I know, and there's only one, and it's conveniently right here for me to fight this guy with. Why couldn't I have gotten it earlier? Me: Wait, the dragon's flying with just one wing... and it's not lopsided at all? During another fight with the sitting guy... Enemy: *sends Sora flying* Isaac: What? He's not supposed to do that! Me: Sure he is, he's all powerful! During one of the final boss's many form transitions... Isaac: And he's still not dead. Me: Isn't he already dead... or undead... or something? And the one time I had my hands on the controls, fighting random Nobodies... Me: Hey, I think I've got a battle strategy now! Just push square and triangle until they die!

I hate to double-post, but I was just on KH-Vids.net and I noticed one line of dialog that doesn't sound quite right in KHII: After Tron defeats the MCP and Yuffie reports to Aeris that things are calming down around town, Aeris says "Now if only we can get those three(Sora, Donald and Goofy) back in one piece."
If you don't get what's strange about that, let me point out that they are currently in three, individual pieces, so coming back in one piece would mean one rather odd person coming back.

Yay! I'd think the main characters' voice actors' voices would have changed too much by now to sound like the characters.
