Crunchy Roll is having a Makoto Shinkai weekend. All of his movies are watchable until the end of Sunday. His stuff is so gorgeous, would highly recommend it. Just finished watching "Children Who Chase Lost Voices", and it was amazing. Very Miyazaki inspired, incredibly rich and heartbreaking. Garden of Words was somewhat melodramatic, but the most beautiful animation of light and reflection that I have ever seen.

I'm a huge anime fan. My favourite being yu-gi-oh (original) which I cosplay and draw from.
I'm currently watching Hakkenden Touhou Ibun

*sighs* Not too happy that an anime series that starting airing back in mid July is being cut short. In case you were wondering, it was God Eater (based on the video game God Eater Burst)

If it wasn't for the multiple episode delays, the series would have completed its run of 13 episodes. Instead, it's going to end with unresolved plot points and/or a cliffhanger.

Most Summer anime is coming to a close and Fall series are starting up.
I still have a bit of summer stuff to catch up on, since I was only watching a couple on Crunchyroll XD But I'm sort of clueless of what is coming out in the fall, except for One Punch Man. That is the only thing I've been hearing about XD And I'm not 100% jumping at that series right now.

From what I've read there, only one series has started. The rest starts later this week or next week. And I was right about God Eater ending on a cliffhanger and unresolved plot points, thanks to its early end. At the end of the episode, it does state that it will return in the winter with the remaining 4 episodes, but I'm a little bit skeptical about that.

Subete ga F ni Naru looks pretty promising as well. Other than that I'll wait to hear what's good.

I should get back to that somewhere else sometime.

Extremely late to the game, but One Punch Man is great. It's funny, has a lot of heart, and the animation is seriously gorgeous.

Received Netflix from my sister as a Christmas/Birthday present (actually, it was for the whole family), and I'm surprised at the decent amount of anime the site has. As expected, the majority of them are the popular/mainstream dubbed versions like Pokemon: Indigo League, but there are a few surprises/oddballs in the mix (mainly because they come in the original Japanese with subtitles like Ghost in the Shell: Arise or both dubbed and subbed versions like Gurren Lagann). I'm a bit irked at the term 'Netflix original series', though as it's a bit of a misnomer when it comes to anime.

Downside for me, I've seen almost all of the dubbed stuff XD Most of it before it was even on Netflix. The subbed stuff took me by surprise a few times. Especially the ones who have dubs, but Netflix doesn't host them... I like dubs XD Anyways, yeah they have "original series" but it's more like "Netflix Exclusive Series" in most cases when it comes to the anime. Last I checked (when I had Netflix last) they only had one of these for anime. Since then I think I heard they added another? (Seven Deadly Sins I think?) Whenever I get Netflix again in the future, I'll probably sit down and watch most of the subbed stuff. I watched a couple, but most were still just sitting in my queue waiting to be watched. I'm a lot lazier when it comes to watching subs. I have to really be in the mood to sit down and read the show. Where with dubs I have the option to multitask if I want to. Which is how I've watch a lot of things.

Draco- at least two 'exclusive' ones, including the aforementioned Seven Deadly Sins and Glitter Force (Smile Pretty Cure in Japan)
