DDR is good for the soul. Exciting & Soothing... It's really quite awesome .I need to find someplace to play that again. Oh, and Bag......Don't be dissapointed in the future when the Bears are ousted by the Colts.... Wai, is this Shino? Yep. XD Don't ask me why he changed his name, I have no idea. Although... "Sai"... it's a rather amusing coincidence. (don't ask) XDD

Eh! DDR! I don't have exactly that but I have Danicng Stage Megamix which is the European version, I think xD I don't think I'm that bad, and it is always really fun.
I want ot be able to do the really hard ones, with like 6 feet difficulty xD That probably won't happen soon, mind you xP

Sorry to burst your bubble Zav, but the really hard ones are 8, 9, and 10. And if you're playing In The Groove, 11, 12, and 13.
But if you get to six, you're doing better than half of all players. XD
Welcome! And yes, Dancing Stage is the European equivelant of Dance Dance Revolution.

A Video Game Dance Club! Yay! Well, I'm relatively new to all this, but I'm addicted to Stepmania already. XD Here's a question I'm going to throw out there; can anyone do a stepfile for the song "Life" by E-type? Because I'm clueless about that still... xD; www.youtube.com/watch?v=fbgbs2L7q_8 - it's the song I used for this AMV. I know it's pretty long. ^^; i'm actually surprised there isn't a song made to DDR Stepmania yet. I thought they were all taken by now due to the popularity. Oh, definitely, I don't think that people should play to be perfect ^_^. DDR is about having fun, after all. I'm nowhere near being close to perfect. Just stating that I know someone who is amazing at it, naturally. amen. you dance for the fun and joy of life, and not for the perfect steps and moves. of perfection is reached while it's being had, it's merely an side effect. But there's a downside to being good. Whenever you see someone not as good, you like to give them tips as to how to improve their skills. That probably gets annoying after a while. anyone who knows a topic better than another is always bound to give tips to those less fortunate. to give a helping hand is never a rude thing, and to admit you aren't really good at DDR (or anything else for that matter) isn't shameful. my current song addiction is Love Hina: Love and Joy from Stepmania. Loving that song very much. *dances some more*

Bowling is the best way to go Dancing. We went on it for about half an hour before and after bowling and had such a great time. A firned and I were playing verses and trying to do the harder ones... she one of course but she knew the songs as she had the same version at home...
I want to buy a different version as I am tiring of the same songs...
Anybody else have some dancing experiences they woudl like to share? Some accomplishments? Anything? =D

My school just got a DDR game to play during lunch break. I haven't played it just yet, but I should be able to really soon. I can hardly wait to play. My sister and I have been thinking about getting a real DDR game for the PS2, instead of an imitation one. No idea when we'll actually get one, but I'm sure I'll enjoy playing it.

Actually, my first experience playing DDR was in gym class in third grade. XD So that means I've been playing DDR for...five years? Yep, soon enough this year will be my fifth year of playing DDR. So people, if you're ever going to be playing DDR, and if you're going to be thinking about me, here's something: It takes forever. It'll click one day though. Like me. Then I just practiced and got better. That's it. :\

Did someone say...
Dance Games?
I've played DDR for two years now (when I was in Grade 6 AND when I was in 3rd Year High School). However, I switched to PIU (Pump It Up). I like their steps better.

I believe the first time I played DDR was about 3 years ago. I was at an amusement park with a friend, so it was an arcade version. The game was fairly expensive, so we just put in one token, we friend actually played while I "shadowed" (looked at the screen and danced without the game knowing it) on the other pad. After playing my friend told me, 'You're pretty good, I could hear some of your steps matching up exactly with mine.' Played DDR superNOVA yesterday at school. It was nice, getting a chance to try some new songs, as well as playing an authentic DDR game, again. I tried a 5-footer, but my status bar ran out just before the end of the song... I think I would have managed it if the pad was a little straighter. I also had fun doing some shadowing. Can hardly wait for tomorrow so I can play it again, or to get a real DDR at home.

Perfect Crazy=Win. XD I like their steps too, but a lot of them are annoying I think and too ITG-esque. Oh well. :\

I used to play DDR, I got into low level heavy songs. But then I sort of stopped playing. My foam pad doesn't really work great for me, and I don't have money to burn on a nice metal one. My dance pad is sitting in my closet, and I have DDRMAX2 on my shelf. Which, is the only one I've actually played >_> GO BURNING HEAT! ...dare I mention Guitar Hero in here? I'm not sure if you really count that or not

Guitar Hero doesn't count, sorry.
Neither does: Beatmania Beatmania IIDX Guitar Freaks Drummania pop'n'music
There ya go.
