Mewtwo DLC being available only to those who buy both games makes me sad. I got the feeling that they'll release payable DLC for Mewtwo and other potential characters later.
Besides, free DLC Mewtwo was rewarded to customers who paid for both versions.

Mewtwo DLC being available only to those who buy both games makes me sad. Well they said it was 'free' to those who bought both games, so there's still every chance that it'll be available to everyone, but you'll just have to pay without both versions of it!
Unless of course I completely misheard XD I only caught the end of the direct, so I might have missed some stuff!
Mostly I just hope that Mewtwo isn't going to be the only DLC they do, but I suspect that it might be. ;-;

Considering the wording of Nintendo of America: "WARNING! Mewtwo arrives in spring 2015! Register both versions in a promotional period & get him for free!"
Definitely sounds like he'll be purchasable afterwards.

I hope so.
Nintendo loves their "get the limited time promotion or miss out forever!" deals. XP

Sure, but they're already doing that with the physical soundtrack. Doubt they're going to do the same for their fighters.

I still have yet to get to Master Core, and now they're making him harder? XD

If there's anything else involved, not sure what it is... I believe you need to face both Master and Crazy Hand on 5.1 or higher difficulty.
I haven't faced it yet either. I'm not going to make an attempt to until I've become good enough with my main (Greninja) that I can beat Master + Crazy Hand on 5.0 difficulty with few problems.

There's a nice trick with Greninja actually I found XD His Bounce attack (the down A in the air I believe). You can use it on one of the hands, and since the hands don't move all the time you can keep bouncing on them over and over and over XD I did that the first time I played, by accident XD
I haven't tried that on Master Core, but the way it moves it could be more difficult depending on which form it's in...

So. I've noticed that the grey rubber circle of my circle pad is no longer centered in the middle of the indent. XD But it doesn't seem loose or slippery yet, so I guess it's fine. Also, there're some photos out of the production versions of the first wave of Amiibos. Anyone planning on getting one (or two, or all)? nintendoeverything.com/final-amiibo-photos-for-the-first-wave-of-figures/I really like that Peach fig.

I dunno about you, but I felt like the final (mass-produced) product may not be as good as the prototype (as previewed in conventions)... There was another comparison image somewhere, but I can't post that 'cos of her up-dress shot. On another topic I should've pointed out 3 days ago... (Don't look at me like that, I just started thinking of it recently.) (It's about that recent DLC announcement, FYI.) Regarding the upcoming Mewtwo DLC, I might wanna point the elephant in the room and ask this hypothetical question:
Do you think they'd dub Mewtwo's dialog and if so, will they use the masculine villain to antihero The First Movie (Gen I) voice or feminine straight out heroic Genesect and the Legend Awakened (Gen V) voice?
From what I understand the voice-clips from Pokémon characters are clearly based on their anime and movies (thus explaining the talking Lucario) counterparts, but seeing as we've two clearly different Mewtwos (giant plot-hole inducing similar backstories aside) running amok, which characterization will they use?
Come to think of it, which Mega Evolution will they use as Mewtwo's Final Smash anyway?

Come to think of it, which Mega Evolution will they use as Mewtwo's Final Smash anyway? Well, when Mewtwo was in Melee, it was definitely the masculine version (because the "new" Mewtwo didn't exist yet), so it depends on whether they're trying to include new material or satisfy the Melee nostalgia junkies. If they decide to be consistent with the "fighting" aspect of the game, it'll probably be Mewtwo X if it has to do with Mega Evolutions at all. However, given that Mega Charizard X is already in the game, I wouldn't be surprised if they made it the Y version just to give that side some love.

I wouldn't be surprised if they decide to go with the more popular Mega Evolution (in this case, probably the X version) On another note, there's a new patch (1.0.3) in the Eshop. It 'fixes' the issue with conquest (earlier ones were given a outright winner percentage wise before the week was finished). This round onwards the percentage is hidden until the current one is over.

XD Of COURSE the prototypes of a product are going to be better quality than the stuff they're able to mass-produce in a factory. They actually still look really good, especially for a $13. (Considering it's more than just a figure, and also has the NFC tech in it.)
