That brings back fond memories of the Oil Panic glitch in Melee. XD
The Yoshi glitches are pretty amusing. He has a super glitch jump, he can make other characters gigantic, and he can teleport with his egg throw. XD
Marth has a glitch with his counter, too. It doesn't help him much.

Just a quick update, I've taken my 3DS to Nintendo's (well, the local equivalent) office to have my Circle Pad repaired/replaced. It'd take approximately 1 to 2 weeks and costs between $50 and $70. Looks like I'm not playing anything for the time being.

Man, Amazon must really hate nintendo. If their advert is true, then they probably just spoiled everything that would have been made into a Nintendo Direct for the Wii U version.

Man, Amazon must really hate nintendo. If their advert is true, then they probably just spoiled everything that would have been made into a Nintendo Direct for the Wii U version. In their defense. They're just putting up the game for pre-order, and put the info they were told. If Nintendo didn't want them to do it, they would have told them not to put the info, or to take it off after they posted it. Amazon doesn't hate Nintendo. They dislike the way they act about their hardware (they're fine with software). Back when the 3DS came out, they had issues because people kept sending their systems back to them because of the hinges were acting up and breaking. Nintendo wouldn't do anything about it, and Amazon would be forced to fork over money to replace or give refunds. Then the WiiU wasn't selling and taking up space in warehouses (this coming directly from warehouse workers I've asked, they had whole areas full of them apparently). So Amazon decided to just give up on selling the hardware directly. Both sides don't talk about it much publicly... And both sides stress about how you can still buy all the software you want and other Nintendo things, and that you can get the hardware through third parties on Amazon still.

So, a new Nintendo direct this Thursday is gonna talk about "fifty things that are different" between Smash U and Smash 3ds.

So, a new Nintendo direct this Thursday is gonna talk about "fifty things that are different" between Smash U and Smash 3ds. So, besides new stages, a board game mode, stage creator, lack of Smash Run (missing anything?), wonder what else there is.

I mean, they'll prolly count each new stage as 1, so that might fill a lot of the slots, maybe.

So, a new Nintendo direct this Thursday is gonna talk about "fifty things that are different" between Smash U and Smash 3ds. I can't wait to relive the smash hype. I also can't wait to get smash on the wii u because the 3ds circle pad is kind of terrible for this game. A moment of silence for all the stocks lost by inputting a neutral/side special when you were sure it was your up special. I also just realized that I have yet to post in this thread. I'll have to catch up on discussion. In the meantime, have this link. I posted it in the pokemon club, and wasn't sure if I should post it here. Someone got the Smash announcer to sing the pokemon theme song.

Okay, it wasn't 50 things, but 55. Some of the items were already known. This one isn't. Mewtwo Returns as a DLC if you have both Smash games, but will not be available until Spring 2015

I was pretty impressed with that direct. There was a lot of neat stuff in it, and I gotta say, I'm looking forward to the stage builder the most.

I'm most hyped for the pit/palutena/viridi conversations myself. Kid Icarus is one of my favorite titles of all time and being able to see color commentary on all the fighters from that cast is gonna be hilarious and awesome

Especially now that you can pretty much draw what you want the field to be like. I'm most hyped for the pit/palutena/viridi conversations myself. Kid Icarus is one of my favorite titles of all time and being able to see color commentary on all the fighters from that cast is gonna be hilarious and awesome It's cool. I always liked the Star Fox ones, even if they weren't really that special to listen to. And the Kid Icarus one seems to resemble the Metal Gear codec conversations, so that's cool XD I never really played Kid Icarus, so most of the characters are sort of unknown to me, but still looks cool. -- On another note. I think I need to call the Nintendo customer service thingy. My Smash Bros digital copy never registered >.> From looking things up, this issue happened in the past with some people who got Fire Emblem. And they just say to call and they'll add it right away. >.> Annoying... Mostly since I want to get those sound tracks (even if I don't listen to them, free stuff XD) Plus Mewtwo.

Just watching the Direct now... ZOMG RETURN OF TEMPLE STAGE
...and also I couldn't tell for a while whether "5 fighters BUT WAIT THERE'S MORE. 8 FIGHTERS" was serious or not
Semi-3D stages (two-plane) seem kinda insteresting, too.
And wow, not just Temple, but a whole bunch of returning old ones from Brawl 0_o
...I'm not too sure what goes on with Miiverse moderation, but hopefully it doesn't end up getting taken out quick, seeing how Swapnote ended up going <_<
trolling with Ridley being a "teammate"
and the more of this I watch the more I get the sense that the reason they released the 3DS version first is because it's kinda stripped-down and wouldn't have sold as many if they released it alongside or after the Wii U one, because pretty much all the Brawl features are back sans Subspace <_<
...hmm. Not sure whether I'll dislike Smash Run or Smash Tour worse.
and you can use the awesome classic GameCube controller, that alone is enough to warrant buying it xD (except you need the adapter or whatever so.)
laughing at some of those trophy dioramas. Pikachu on motorbike yes
...I certainly hope these FP amiibo things won't super unbalance the game, especially since they're Each Sold Separately(TM) and look a bit pay-to-win-ish, at least on a small scale
...and again, narrator announcer is so hammy I can't tell when half the stuff is serious or not
Yeah, Stage Builder does look pretty epic this go-around.
Not sure why they had to brand Mewtwo as a "new" fighter since it was in Melee, but perhaps they're rebuilding it from the ground up since Lucario became a thing? Anyways, looking forward to it. this might have convinced me enough to buy a Wii U, I think their marketing strategy is working

Mewtwo DLC being available only to those who buy both games makes me sad.
