I'm getting a physical copy, because for some reason, my club nintendo account doesn't register 3DS games I've downloaded.
I might do that one thing where you can transfer a physical game to a downloaded game they have on the e-shop afterwords though.

Oh right, I've being meaning to ask if it was possible to convert physical copies of a game into downloadable version... If so, how do I do that?

I think you can transfer your -save- data from one to the other, but you're gonna have to buy the game a second time from the eShop.

Played Smash today with my friend for a while. Gets boring with just 5 characters XD But I managed to really understand how to play Megaman and Villager better. Edit: So, Link's Final Smash is different in the Wii version. ok, maybe not. But imagine!

If you're planning on getting Smash for 3DS (either retail or digital), make sure to download the patch update (1.0.2). It's now available on the eShop.

Downloading at midnight only took about 45 minutes, which is pretty good. And then I spent about an hour playing it before my hand cramped up. XD Unlocked two chars, though, so that's kewl.

Took me just over an hour to download my copy, which isn't bad. The only thing I'm scratching me head over is how in the world I managed to unlock Jigglypuff after a couple of hours playing. I certainly didn't met the requirements of playing 120 versus matches And here are the alternate requirements for characters that I know so far. Ness-Clear Classic mode with 2 characters Falco-Clear Claaic mode with 1 character Wario-Clear 100 Man Smash Lucina-Clear Classic mode with Marth (alternately, Ike or Robin, but I haven't confirmed that) Dark Pit-Clear Classic mode with 4 characters

Smash Run is hard with all-AI opponents. XD;;; I almost never have the best stats in any category, and that's even after working to equip my char with my best powers and equipment. XDDDD There are some tough monsters in there! Especially when a buncha' big ones start ganging up on you!
But it's a really good way to unlock your char's other moves (even if you lose), so I keep at it. X3

So how's the AI?
I'm really hoping it's not as dumb as Brawl's. CPUs only targetting the human player was an all around annoying design that pretty much ruined single-player FFAs. XP

I think in some cases, it's random how you unlock characters.... I got Dark Pit on my 3rd play in Classic. And I've beaten Classic with all 3 Fire Emblem characters and no Lucina. My friend told me the next characters I unlock would probably be Dr. Mario and Lucina. Instead I got Duck Hunt Dog and Mr. Game and Watch. So how's the AI? I'm really hoping it's not as dumb as Brawl's. CPUs only targetting the human player was an all around annoying design that pretty much ruined single-player FFAs. XP I'm finding the AI a bit challenging. During the Demo they were dumb as bricks for me... I was fighting level 9s really quickly and they weren't giving me issue. Lvl 6 is beating the heck out of me right now. And they aren't targeting one character at least. In free for all matches, they'll actually fight each other instead of just targeting me.

Yeah, I'm losing a lot of matches myself. XD Not sure if it's just me still trying to get used to the controls or what. The GameXplain guys were all like, "Yeah, level 9s are still way easy" and I'm like PFFF. So I guess YMMV. I don't really know how chars are unlocked either, but I've got a bunch now, just from playing all sorts of stuff. Now I've unlocked Falco, Ness, Bowser Jr, Dark Pit, Jigglypuff, Wario, and Lucina.

I'm only missing 3 people now. R.O.B, Jigglypuff, and Ganondorf.
Ganon is easy I know, just beat the game with Link XD
The other two, those are issues. They either day a lot of playing, or weird things other requirements.
