I'm still wondering who won the fan vote. I've seen rumors that it's Shantae. Then again, she might have not even been IN the fan vote and we still have no idea.
Also, now that we have an FF character in Smash, we'll probably get a Smash rendition of One-Winged Angel, because that's the only FF song everyone knows. We hopefully might get some cool trophies. Any FF7 fan will know far more then One-Winged Angel. The battle theme, tons of different locations that are familiar, and the main theme of course. And most are better fighting music then One-Winged Angel. As good as it is, it's not that good to fight to XD I always thought One-Winged Angel was more of the final boss kind of fight. |

And most are better fighting music then One-Winged Angel. As good as it is, it's not that good to fight to XD I always thought One-Winged Angel was more of the final boss kind of fight. It is. And it's not all that great to hear through the whole fight XD It's cool the first time, but if you play more no so good. It would be annoying in Smash XD |

I have Theaterhythm: Curtain Call, and there are plenty of FF7 songs there that could fit.

I don't even care what FF7 music they put in, because FF8 music is far better and I would rather have it. :'D

It's kinda like how the only Mario songs most people know are World 1-1 and the Underground theme. EDIT: I wanted to bring something up about modern gaming, but I had to finish this post since I had to leave the computer for a while. Anyway, I don't even think a lot of modern gamers know anything about FF music, since most of what they play is the heavily-advertised mainstream Rated M for Money stuff, like CoD and GTA. I hate to sound hipster-ish, but FF isn't exactly mainstream anymore :/ I don't even care what FF7 music they put in, because FF8 music is far better and I would rather have it. :'D Like, Shuffle or Boogie, please. Final Super Smash Bros Nintendo Direct (at least for Smash for 3DS/Wii U) will be coming December 15 @ 2 PST (5 EST).

Alternate colors. I like that they change his hair style.

That for sure will be a surprise. Anything that was related to Cloud and/or Final Fantasy was a given, for the most part, based on what we knew from the game itself and what had occurred with previous DLCs. Other than that, your guess as to what else is going to be on the game is good as mine. |

I didn't expect Corrin to be included since he'd only being introduced recently.
As for Bayonetta, didn't expect her as the Smash Ballot winner, but at the same time I understand her popularity. |

I think it's cool that we're not just getting a Sega character THAT ISN'T FROM SONIC (thank god - I like Sonic and all, but still I'd rather have more games represented), but we're getting someone from Platinum/Clover. Still would have rather had someone else than another FE character, but Corrin seems to have a cool moveset. As for non-spoiler stuff, I think I'll start maining Cloud. I used to main Greninja, but I feel like playing someone different. |

Yeah, I wasn't even expecting Corrin/Kamui appearing at all, given the circumstances (released only in Japan at time of writing, but not in the rest of the world). S/he's actually the third character from the FE series to 'pull a Marth' (after Marth and Roy), aka Marth Debuted in Smash Bros. S/he does seem like an interesting character to play as in Smash. |
