I wouldn't worry about being late; there's no time limit for joining, so you can just point your character in the direction of the action or something. xD Although it might be a good idea to put something in the GW2 Persona thread. And your spelling looks fine to me. Oh. I put something in the Mage Persona thread, but I guess I oughta move also put something in the GW II thingamajiggerdysomething too, huh? Basically, yes.

Idea: Maybe the ship repairs itself by transforming mist into a solid whatever-it-needs, and so the more it repairs itself, the less remaining mist it has left over, and the more vulnerable it is? We have a winner xDD That's exactly how it works, guys. Remember, the mist is a constant unit? It doesn't regenerate itself, there isn't more to come from anywhere once it uses itself up for something. Granted, once a part is being replaced, it starts omitting new mist, but it's a kind of self-preservation unit, as in, not from the original gem, as in, it's not as powerful, not as thick, and not as good. And Bacon - and the rest of ye talking about indestructible - um, there were a total of two laser blasts. Did you expect the ship to crumble in flames because of that? Had there been a crossfire, we'd be buggered right now. Now. Lemme tell you guys about Slezz. Slezz is a sub-boss in the Bloodrayne 2 game. She's a kind of huge winged vampire-monster thing that sits in the sewers. Her skin is completely resistent to any weapons you have, you can't get near her because she generates wind with her wings, and she spits acid at you. Judging from the attitudes I'm getting here, you'd stamp her as a godmode in an instant. Because you can't beat her the usual slash-and-shoot way, oops, end of ideas, now whadda we do. The trick to beating Slezz was to summon her servants, suicide-bombers, who'd jump at you when you pulled a lever, and to harpoon those bombers straight back at the boss's face. Took some five bombers, and you'd have to deal with acid-spitting and random minions bouncing at you, but it works. I've beaten that level some three times, it's fun once you get the hang of it. Moral of the story: creativity. And thinking. Yep, Omni's on to something there, and Rider's on to something there. You don't have to get on the bloody ship to fight us, people >< Lure us out, dangit. Blackmail us. Negotiate with us. Think! The Weewoo has, indeed, always been the weakest of the bases, and now the tables have turned. I didn't give her the protection because I'd want to pwn y'all, but because I want to keep the ship in one piece throughout the GW, because we'd much rather keep on using it after the war, youknow? Now, as for the ever-so-annoying mist. First off, it works on the same idea as Mage Manor's defense, and you don't see Kat complaining that Asthielle can't get in. She's plotting and thinking at the moment, and kudos to her for that. The way my original idea went, it was just an impenetrable wall for non-pirates, but since everyone insisted on walking straight on the ship, I had to go with kicking people off >>; I can tell you that I don't know what would work against it and what not. The lasers came as a complete surprise, and when I looked at the situation, I just figured that the mist wouldn't be able to stop them in any way. It's plain logic. If anyone's able to come up with anything else a handful of magical mist wouldn't possibly be able to stop, go for it. I'll be interested to see. Yes, throwing things doesn't work. Walking on the ship doesn't work. Well, I can't walk into the Fleet HQ either, and that doesn't stop me from waging war with the nutjob Commander (in the future, anyway >>) Not to mention - the ship is fully on defensive, not offensive. Weapon-wise, the strongest we have are the mages, the blarf, and Sev, none of which can be everywhere at once. Some, like the mages and Fleet, focus on offense. We focus on defense. It all evens out. See Keng, Ikkin and I have been planning a former Weewoo crew confrontation/ battle for at least a week and a half, but that won't happen if Cyborg can't stay on the Weewoo for more than a post or two. Does anyone see where I'm going with this? What exactly have you done to get that battle? All I've seen is attempts to get on the ship and insulting. You're talking to a pirate captain who's currently busy with attacks, defenses, status reports, and possessed crewmembers. Next to that, the you're-too-chicken insult doesn't exactly rank very high, even if you'd stayed on board >> There are only so many posts I can respond to without writing a novel (and switching moods every five minutes). What I'm a-saying is, there's not much point in complaining when things don't go your way. Things haven't gone my way either. I've gone with the flow. It took me some thirty pages since the original idea to get my demonship (the idea was forged after Clara's fire and Kit's offer, because we needed defense).

You don't get it do you Hunty? The way things are going no one will get their way, there will be no point of GW2 because the pirates and their indestructable ship will just keep healing or god modding attackers off the ship!!!

o__________o @ Hunty's wall of text.
Well, I would say I haven't seen any suicide-bombers, but you'd probably argue that I'm not looking hard enough. So... I just won't say anything.
*quietly tries to think up some technique that would both be effective and in-character*

Cyborg, Hunty is making a very strong point. Without the mist, the pirate ship would have been mercilessly destroyed by now. And what are you talking about? The ship is clearly NOT indestructible. You saw how the lasers damaged it, and i'm pretty sure there are other forms of attack that can get past its defenses as well. Try not to get upset that things aren't going your way. Things haven't exactly gone my way either, but i'm not whining about it, and in fact, I see it as a fun challenge. To me, one of the best things about Guild Wars is the fact that we must adapt our characters to rapidly-changing events and circumstances. Just grin, bear it, and think seriously about a plan to overcome this obstacle. That's what i'm doing with my characters, and that's what everyone else is doing with their characters. Adapt.

[glow=red,2,300]Chill, Cy, it's just an RP. This is all for fun, and it's no fun if it's too easy, aye? this is why I love the Spacefleet. They're more technologically advanced than the ninjas, and therefore outside Rider's comprehension. They're a challenge that shoots lasers, with whom the more medieval guilds have to get creative. The 500 piece puzzle is always more fun than the kiddie puzzles. <3 [/glow]

May I make a few suggestions? Bluisa is pretty relatively because of all the light so I think six guards could overwhelm her but I'll leave the final say to Vyt. As for Celestial, the rocket launcher guy could have a shiny with a precious gem fall into view which will cause the dragons which "possess" Celestial to fight and knock her out. I think any guard with even the most basic training and weapons could take somebody who is unconscious. Only on the NTWF do you get people making suggestions on how to arrest themselves and their companions. XDDI don't know, Celestial. No guard would ever think that there were probably thousands of dragons living inside Celestial that all he has to do is throw something that would cause them to feed their own greed and knock Celestial out in the process. That's a bit complicated. ... I then thought of having Bluisa knock Celestial out by herself, but... Oh no, I was thinking it to be more accidental like he falls back and a sentimental shiny that would normally be kept under his suit would be seen. But then again, anybody with the most basic telepathy could pick up the mad scamble of minds alongside Celestial's but I'll leave it up to whoever roleplays the guards. ^_^

I shouldn't really ask this since it's a bit obvious, but Ikkin... Will Sev revive Subila back? I may already know the answer to that question, but I just like to make sure. Well, the way I understood it, Vyt and Subila are like Yin and Yang to each other, right? So they'd share a soul. Sev can't get Vyt's soul back, so he shouldn't be able to bring Subila's back, either. I guess you could bring her back if you wanted to, but it seems like it'd make more sense if she came back when Vyt came back. In any case, I don't know if I mentioned this, but Sev wasn't actually able to return consciousness to the people he revived due to the distance. So no one has to worry about having to deal with their characters again if they don't want to, since they'd be unconscious anyway.

XD This was purely a convenience thing so I wouldn't have to have some excuse for everyone being alive at the end. It's basically to make things easier for next time.

Ah... I think I see now... basically when the ship takes damage, the mist doesn't regenerate the broken peice, it replaces it with itself, of which there is limited quantity. The posts in GW made no indication of this, in fact they made it sound, at least, to me, that the ship repaired itself with a seemingly replinishable energy source.
So, if it gets shot enough with lasers, eventually it would be unable to make its wings, and after that if it continues to take damage it may revert from it's demonic form, and after that it'd just be a beached (forested?) pirate ship being destroyed mercilessly. Hopefully it won't come to that point, I'm just noting how not-indestructable it is.

Ok Strife I'm not whining I just feel it's god modding. Strife I did see the lasers damage it though I also saw it's regenerating. I don't care if it's not going my way I'm just sick of being god modded off the ship. Rider I do like a challenge, and I do like fun, but it's not fun when every time I try to do anything involving the Weewoo or the pirates on it I'm god modded away.

Rider I do like a challenge, and I do like fun, but it's not fun when every time I try to do anything involving the Weewoo or the pirates on it I'm god modded away. Look, it's pretty simple. a) We'd prefer those who aren't allies to stay off the ship, so we don't have to worry about her so much. We've taken a liking to her, and don't want her blown up. b) Huntress is no longer on the ship. Hence, the ship will no longer throw off anyone who comes near her. c) Most of our pirates are fairly loyal. If Huntress is attacked, they're probably not just going to stay safe on the ship and let their captain fight alone. d) Once the pirates are off the ship, the ship's powers are rather irrelevant. So as long as you don't go bothering her, she'll leave you alone. Savvy?

Ikkin don't you start on me! I know you'd prefer the Weewoo not blown up. Question though doesn't the Invincible Weewoo have a mind of it's own, cause that's what I heard, so therefore it could still chuck people off couldn't it?
