Name: Fenrix Akaba (Fen)
Affiliation(s): Mercenary and Knights guilds 1: Primary affiliation: Mercenary Rank/title: None 2: Secondary affiliation: Knights Rank/title:Amber Knight, the Agent of serenity (knights)
Appearance: Five foot seven with olive colored skin and shoulder length black hair. She has black eyes that seem to see straight into your soul(figuratively of course). Dresses in the garb of the Akaba clan. Leather arm guards, a short tunic, leggings, and knee high boots. A golden bird in flight, Her family’s symbol is placed on the chest of her tunic. Picture: coming
Personality: Fenrix is quick to temper, but also quickly to calm down. She has a bad habit of talking bluntly and sarcastically, which, more often then not, get her into deep trouble. Flirtatious yet chaste, she thinks every battle is a game and likes to find new ways to break her enemy(or enemies)
Abilities:Wind, fire and invisibility magic. She can scry the winds for information, and use fire to create creatures that can assume a temporary human form.
Weapons: Double scimitars, a longbow, and a dagger with a compartment for poison. The Akaba clan is notorious for its subtle use of poisons, and Fenrix is no exception. She keeps many poisons in a pouch at her waist. The most favored? Cobra poison.
Companions: Shiloh the black cat. A snarky commentator who has a preference for shrimp and sparrow meat. When provoked beyond his limit he can transform into a black panther. It's best to stay on his good side. Koje the peregrine falcon. He has a special sight that allows him to see far into the future, and to see the strength and weaknesses of a person. Companion Pictures: None yet
Short history of persona: Not much is really known about Fenrix. She is a vampire from the line of Takehiko, a vampire with a power complex. She worked for him as a free-lance assassin for a while, until she was sent to go after Cyborg from the mercenary guild. Instead of killing him, she defected from her former employer and joined the mercenaries.
After causing a wonderfully complex scene which resulted in an attack from Takehiko, she bit her comrade in arms, Hades, and turned him into a vampire, the second of her line.
Other: She has two vampires in her line, Tank and Hades. Tank was her great failure because he refused to listen or obey her words.

Name: Drakhé Affiliation(s):1: Mages Rank/title: N/A Appearance: Generally, Drakhé takes on the form of a wingless, tail-less humanoid dragon with plantigrade (flat) feet, clawed fingers and toes and two thin horns jutting from his head. He has no set outfit, being somewhat careless in choosing what to wear, although if he ventures outside of the Manor then he is notably more careful. His "true" form is that of a serpent with those same horns, and four eyes. He is always black with white eyes. Picture: Drakhé, Shapeshifter (Not the best, but it's all that I've done so far.) Ectros Serpentine (Drakhé's true form. Includes size comparsin to the average human.) Personality: To most people, including some of his fellow mages, Drakhé comes off as being shy, gentle and naïve. For the most part that is not too far off from the truth; he is unfamiliar with contemporary NTWF life, although life in the Mages' guild is helping him adjust. Drakhé is someone who is steadily recovering from being an emotional wreck, and at times he shows signs that he's in danger of sliding back into his former state: he can be overprotective of those he cares about, and if under stress, he can grow restless very easily. Abilities:* Darkness magic - You might have seen this coming from a long way off. Drakhé is a skilled user of darkness magic, able to manipulate shadows in various ways. Ironically this depends on the presence of light; if there is a total absence of light he can't use it, and if there is a total absence of shadows, he can't use it either. * Shapeshifting - This was most likely obvious from his appearance, too. Like with darkness magic, Drakhé is a skilled shapeshifter. He most often uses it to form tentacles to use for fighting, but he can also change himself completely. However, he cannot change into any elemental creature. Another major drawback to this ability is one unique to him: he is completely unable to change his colours. * Unarmed combat - Typically used in conjunction with shapeshifting. Drakhé doesn't know any specific martial arts or anything of the sort, but he is surprisingly competent at fighting unarmed. Of course, when he transforms into a panther, that is a sort of unarmed combat... * Ectros - Being an undead of sorts, Drakhé has the ability to change between his solid form and his ectros, or ghost form. As a ghost, he is physically intangible, but can still be affected by magic - in fact, certain types of magic affect him more strongly. Also, as a ghost, he cannot go underground at all. If there's a hole in the ground, he'll walk right across it like it isn't there. Weapons: N/A Companions: N/A Short history of persona: Drakhé first arrived in the NTWF as a spirit inside the body of Kwoiffei. Occasionally he'd take control to protect/save her or something like that, but otherwise he hardly made himself known... until she was burnt to a crisp by Sev. This freed him (and Kwoi's spirit), but it also took an astonishingly heavy toll on his mind. Shortly afterwards the two disappeared for months. They eventually returned, still separate, but with the ability to take on a solid, almost "living" form. Now on the road to recovery, and gradually becoming more independent, Drakhé joined the Mages. (More will be revealed as time goes on.) Revealed in GW2: Drakhé used to be a (presumably very powerful) guardian of a place called Aronesh. (The people of Aronesh really hated demons for some reason.) This changed when a stranger came; hours after her arrival, she was nearly killed, and Drakhé gave up his mechanical body to save her life. This stranger's name was Kwoiffei. His fear of necromancers is rooted in an event that happened in his past. Other:* Drakhé's speech and thoughts are always marked in bold. This is partly to illustrate his voice (which is deeeeep), and partly to distinguish him from Kwoiffei. ("Wait... is she gonna be in GW2 too?!" Maaaaybe. But she's guildless so that'd be hard. She will be in flashbacks though.) * The period in which Drakhé was absent includes GWI. * He's afraid of necromancers. * The accented "e" in his name is the same as in the word "café". In GWI: No.

Post by Huntress on Jan 4, 2008 3:06:34 GMT -5
Name: Huntress
Affiliation(s): 1: Primary affiliation: Pirates Rank/title: Captain
Appearance: *points to siggy* About 5'5'', black-and-blonde-striped hair, grey eyes, mostly black clothes, a number of silver accessories, usually has a meepit riding on her shoulder.
Personality: level-headed, calculative, rather cold and stern. Somewhat solitary, reluctant about alliances, places the welfare of her crew above everything else.
Abilities: A good sharpshooter, knows her way around with sailing and navigating.
Weapons: -The main weapon is a white lightweight crossbow with short sturdy bolts in a lopsided steel quiver halfway filled with strong acid. The bolts aren't very sharp due to the acid, as their main purpose is just to carry the acid to the target. - Also has a four-foot-long crossbow with spikes for close combat, an infra-red scope for distance, and a semi-automatic reloading system. This one also uses acidic bolts, but it's rather heavy, so it's used mainly in defensive standstill battle. - A short dagger that's rarely used in combat unless push comes to shove. - A kunai, also rarely used. - The gang of rabid meepits. A swift, powerful force that essentially consists of a flurry of fangs that's very hard to hit. Due to the rabies, they have a command to only attack if they're able to kill, and will very rarely just wound; therefore they're almost harmless when meeting a defence they estimate to be too good. They also refuse to play heroes. - The kraken (an all-pirates summonable force) A big fuzzy creature essentially the shape of a huge cigar, with six chubby feet, a mole-like snout, three rows of fangs, and a back covered with jagged spikes and tentacles. He has thick rubbery skin that can withstand bullets and is basically what keeps him afloat, so he can battle both on land and at sea. He's a mirrormonster, so he's able to go through surfaces that are big and reflective enough, but he only does that as a last-chance defensive action.
Companions: the gang of rabid meepits, a roughly two-dozen-headed bunch of small blue petpets. - Bloody 'Marik' Mary: as they're anarchists, they don't have a leader, but Bloody Mary comes close. - Bob 'Squeaky' Destroyer: the leader of battle forces and the best at tactics - Justice: the brainpower - Boom: the scientist, doctor and otherwise pyromaniac; as far as chemicals go, has quite a few MacGyver-abilities. - Joe 'Editor' Chef: the chef - Santa: a quiet, somewhat shy female, who can go berserk in battle when provoked - Nova: trained to be a battle machine, prefers not to fight when possible but is good at it whenever she's pushed into it. Is a necromancer to an extent - can hear the voices of those who have died a violent death. None of them, except Bloody Mary, is likely to play a major role in the GW, or any role for that matter, but they're there. They all look pretty much like the meepit in the siggy.
Short history of persona: Hunty's past has always been a little hazy, and tied with the meepitgang's past, which is equally hazy. Her better known history starts with the White Weewoo, the white pirate brigantine of captain Rider, who resigned a short while ago and left the bridge to Huntress.
Other: Dontcha dare to kill off our kraken, people. He's a recurring character.
In GWI: To a very small and brief extent.

Post by Amneiger on Jan 4, 2008 12:01:32 GMT -5
Name: Amneiger. Also responds to Amnei, Amny, Amn, Ang, and just about anything that sounds like it was made using his name. Affiliation: Spacefleet (1.) Primary affiliation: Spacefleet Rank: Professor Appearance: black hair, brown eyes, short. Pale skin that looks like he hasn't been getting a whole lot of sun. Usually wears one of those red sweatshirts with the pocket in front along with a set of khaki pants. Picture: I don't have a picture >> Personality: Amneiger strongly believes in being calm and polite even when being faced with slavering crocodiles in a bottom of a dungeon pit while being taunted by prison guards who are placing bets on how long he'll last, the longest being ten seconds. (No, this has never happened to him.) He also believes in what his old tutor called "the job well done." Since his combat abilities are pratically nonexistant compared to other NTWF members he prefers not to personally get into fights. Abilities: The scientific method. Knowledge of mechanics, electricity, and computing. Setting up automated defenses and security systems (think cameras, motion sensors, sonar, sentry guns, etc). Writing long essays. Weapons: Usually Amneiger only carries a modified wide-angle camera flash that lets him blind opponents, but since there's a war going on he also carries four grenades and a blowtorch. Amneiger tried to pick things that won't require too much training to use effectively. Companions: The minitanks. Since Amneiger has little in the way of combat abilities, he generally depends on the minitanks to do his fighting for him. Amneiger can give them commands by either talking to them or using a properly configured computer terminal. (They use a voice analysis system to make sure it's only Amneiger and any users he registers who can give them voice commands.) They're about three feet high and a foot and a half wide, so they can fit down corridors. Their standard equipment loadout is a grenade launcher, a machine gun, a camera eye, and caterpillar tracks. The launchers are fairly advanced; the grenades can be set for individual fuse times reaching from one second to ten minutes, and the tanks can calculate the angles and times needed to bounce a grenade off a wall and have it explode just as it hits the ground next to its target. Amneiger is currently trying to upgrade them with laser cannons, sonar, and hoverjets. None of them are actually sentient, and none of them have names. Short history of persona: No, not yet Other: Amneiger wears a datacube around his neck which contains backups of all his designs and notes. He also carries a pair of glasses he calls the Library Glasses, which give him greatly increased reading speed while making him much more longwinded and formal. He usually doesn't use the glasses unless he has a big research job, but he updates the datacube every day. In GW1: No.

[glow=red,2,300]The glow makes this post look odd. [/glow] Name: Rider Affiliation(s): Pirates Rank/title: Ex-Captain Appearance: A short, lithe Asian who's stronger than she looks. Stright black hair, wears a white T-shirt, jeans and the trademark red cape. Picture: Personality: Probably not drunk. Probably not disorganized. Probably not a hussy. Probably doesn't hate ninjas with a burning passion. Probably a liar. Abilities: She's a more-than-adequate swordsman. She can summon Meepits which appear in orbs of blackness. She can cast most first-level Final Fantasy spells, (Fire, Water, Thunder, Blizzard, Aero, Cure) and Fira (though it can get explosive. FIREINTHEHOLE!) Weapons: A typical cutlass, and probably a few hidden daggers for use in a tight spot. Can operate the cannons on the Weewoo. Companions: Meepits - I can summon dozens of Meepits, but these are the ones that I use most. Ventratta, the Meepit General. A Jack-of-all trades, most of which not even Rider is familiar with. A charismatic meepit who's batter at strategy than Rider ever was. He and Rider understand one another perfectly. Isn't summoned in a ball of darkness. Can usually be found in Rider's pocket. Elvie, Ventratta's wife. A flat character who I barely ever use. Not a member of the army, but has to tag along to keep 'tratta out of trouble. Nalia, the Warrior. A beautiful pale blue Meepitess who's an expert fighter. Offsephious the Poet. A romantic-hearted Meepit who doesn't enjoy fighting. His motives for joining the Meepit army are as of yet unknown. The Magus Sisters. Three faerie Meepits who're better at magic than I am. Shiva. A sarcastic jet-black demon-horse who eats cats. Rider rescued him from abusive royal owners. he shows his gratitude by eating her out of house and home. Has fangs and hooves and blades in his tail and can hurt you very easily. Short history of persona: Has a short history of blowing things up. Other: I am awesome. Bow before me. In GWI: Yes, but I died... then I came back.

Post by Fraze on Jan 4, 2008 19:09:37 GMT -5
Name: Fraze
Affiliation(s): 1: Spacefleet Rank/title: Merc (lowest-level combat class)
Appearance: 6 feet/183 cm tall, thin. Brown eyes, brown curly hair pulled back into a neck-length ponytail. Usually wears casual clothes--jeans or jean shorts, t-shirt, shoes or sandals. In combat, wears his skinsuit (see below).
Personality: Acutely aware of the absurdities of life. Easygoing, very ready to laugh, even in tense situations. Hardly ever gets mad.
Abilities: No magic use; Fraze tends more toward science than magic. Sometimes fights using capoeira (Brazilian dance/martial art).
Weapons: Melee weapon: Table of Smiting, a four-legged stone table, about 1 meter by one meter by one meter, magically reinforced so as to be lighter and more durable than regular rock. (In stalwart defiance of the Law of Conservation of Energy, though the table seems to be only about three kilograms to the person wielding it, it seems like twenty-five kilos to the person getting hit by it.) Can be wielded one-handed or two-handed, used both to attack and block; also has a cord wound in one leg that can be unstrung and wound around another leg, turning it into a sort of crossbow or ballista (this function is rarely used). Flechette gun: a shotgun on steroids. Fires a spray of thousands of thin metal needles, powerful enough to rip through a sheet of corrugated steel. Needs to be reloaded after each shot. FORCE Multi-Purpose Assault Rifle: several weapons in one. Plasma rifle, grenade launcher, regular lead projectile shooter. Also has a few more exotic forms of ammunition, such as bhees (beams of high-energy electrons, can bore a ten-centimeter hole through five meters of solid rock). Universal Box: A box the size of a ring box that contains another universe. The inside of the box is about the size of an airplane or spaceship hangar--ie, pretty darn big. Contains an undisclosed-but-significantly-large number of weapons, including one particularly strong hidden weapon. The Universal Box is locked with a thumbprint lock that opens only for Fraze's thumbprint; the hidden weapon mentioned above is locked inside a 100% stasis multiple-encryption locked box inside another 100% stasis multiple-encryption locked box at the back of the Universal Box. The Universal Box is separate from the universe it contains--that is, an explosion inside the box will not escape unless the box is opened, and if the box is shaken, the inside of the box will not shake. The box is nearly impossible to destroy--will burn if Sev'd or thrown into the thermonuclear core of a sun, but that's about it. The volume inside the box will expand to fill that same volume in this universe if and only if the box is annihilated completely. Skinsuit: A semi-sentient semi-organism--half machine, half life form that borders on being self aware. Looks like a blob of mercury, expands on bare skin to cover the wearer completely. Only accepts Fraze as its wearer; about as thick as a sheet of paper when completely covering the wearer. Requires energy for its various functions, draws energy from light, heat, and (if needed) the wearer's own stores of energy. To keep this persona form from becoming much longer, I will leave this part relatively short. For more in-depth information about the skinsuit, see my Spacefleet Persona Thread post. This is a brief list of some of the more important skinsuit functions. Armor: about as good as Spacefleet armor, can deflect most teeth, claws, blades, and bullets. Rigidify: Can tense up to enhance armor capabilities, or to make physical attacks more powerful. Medical: Has a few rudimentary first-aid capabilities. Can staunch bleeding and rigidify to act as a splint, but that's about it. Can enhance the wearer's strength and/or speed, but requires a lot of energy to do so. Acts as a completely insulative spacesuit. Can form microthin energy wings that use light to propel the wearer through empty space. Good for long-distance space travel, not so good for tight maneuvers in combat situations. Can be used as a parachute in atmosphere. Can cloak, rendering the suit and wearer impossible to detect or hear using just about any scientific or magical means currently in existence. However, cannot replenish stores of energy when cloaked. Can perform most of the functions of your average Spacefleet-level computer.
Companions: None.
Companion Pictures: N/A
Short history of persona: Ordered by the Hegemony (read the Hyperion saga...) to aid Spacefleet in one of their missions, then decided to stick around.
Other: Works at the Spacefleet Gift Shop. Manager of the store in every way except title--the robot manager doesn't actually do anything much. Like some 'Fleeters, has a Spacefleet Driver's License.

Post by emmhwal on Jan 4, 2008 19:34:27 GMT -5
Name: Emma
Affiliation(s): Knights 1: Primary affiliation: KOTNTWF Rank/title: Sangria Knight, Victorious Blade
Appearance: Emma is short, pale and skinny. She has reddish-brown hair that comes down just past her shoulders, and deep brown eyes that appear coal black. She is usually found wearing a wrap-around top, and simple brown breeches. The only unusual thing about her dress is the silver ribbon tied around her waist. During times of battle, she also dons a leather breastplate worn over her shirt. Picture: Unavailable
Personality: Emma is fiercely loyal to anything close to her heart, but only shows her fiery side when extremely aggrevated or provoked. Generally, she's shy and introverted, and would rather be alone.
Abilities: Emma has small storm magic ability, but is scared to use it due to lack of training.
Weapons: A simple longsword with a leather wrapping around the hilt. Her birthstone is set in the pommel, and the scabbard is a rusty red. It was given to her upon leaving her hometown. She is espeically proficent with a sword, because of guilt about going behind her guardian's back and learning hand-to-hand combat.
Companions: Icth is a mutt. Neither Emma, nor her father, could figure out exactly what mix he was. Because of the white fur with black spots that covers his paws, tail, and chest, he is believed to be part Dalmation. Aside from the spots, Icth is black, although his fur has brownish patches from age. He is short haired, and has floppy ears. Icth was her father's dog, but took up the role of Emma's protector and watchdog after her father died. She had told him to stay back at home when she left, but he followed her to Castle Kestrel anyways. He tends to cause trouble, and enjoys wandering off into the castle alone. Companion Pictures: Unavailable
Short history of persona: Emma came from a small town in the northern parts of Dunburrow. Her father was a sheild-maker, and taught her Heraldry, a big hobby of hers. Her father was popular among the locals, and one of his noble customers took her under their wing. She learned swordplay from Roland, and now that her family is all gone, regards him as a kind of father. Roland was a kind and caring surrogate father, although Emma is still plagued by bouts of grief that come with the memories. Even as he knew she was being trained as a knight, he is unusually protective of her. Her Uncle Roland didn't believe it fitting for her to learn hand-to-hand combat, but she defied his wishes and was taught by her friends in the village. Because of her guilt for sneaking around behind her Uncle's back, she worked harder at swordfighting to please him. She doesn't understand that his brother was killed during hand-to-hand combat before she was born.
Other: None.

Appearance: 5'9", short brown hair that ends at chin-length, green eyes. Is often found wearing a black bandana, striped knee-socks, flat dress shoes (black), brown knee-length capris, a fancy green top/corset with gold buttons, and a necklace featuring a gold lemon pendant. Will sometimes wear a dark green jacket accented with gold. Picture: (Coming soon.)
Personality: Quick to agree with whomever has the upperhand, calm under most situations, and helpful to her comrades. Quite passionate about lemons and lemonade.
Abilities: Very skilled at making lemonade from just about anything, particularly lemons... and forumers.
Weapons: - Lemon bombs. Lemons filled with lemonade that has explosive qualities. They usually explode upon contact with a hard surface, but may also be activated with the use of a lit fuse. - Sword. - A pair of kunai. Leftover from her days as a ninja, she uses these in place of daggers.
Short history of persona: Before the very first Pirate/Ninja war, she sided with the pirates for a mere 3 hours before joining the Ninjas. She was affiliated with the Ninjas for some time before deciding to go back to sea. She now rides with the crew of the White Weewoo.
Other: If you value your life, don't steal the lemonade.

Post by Bacon on Jan 5, 2008 17:59:56 GMT -5
Name: Bacon
Affiliation(s): Spacefleet Guild 1: Spacefleet Guild Rank/title: Cadet
Appearance: His hair is dark brown, and he wears a big brown leather jacket with an old RAF logo on the back. Other than that, he wears black or brown pants, black shirt and sometimes he even is wearing welding goggles on the top of his head, as though just finishing "low-tech" repairs.
Personality: Bacon is often a quiet observer who will only chime in if an area he specializes in, like ship mechanics, is brought up. He gets along well with others, and tries to stay on everyone's good side. Abilities: Repairing vehicles, flying vehicles, knowledge of computer systems and schematics.
Weapons: Bacon has a trusty Pulse Charger hand-held stunner which has two settings: a Neural Pacifier mode that can stun enemies faster than a Gurodinian can blink, and an Electric Amplifier that acts like a really powerful taser. Bacon also has a steel katana, though he rarely uses it. Lastly, Bacon has his own ship, the Stellar Eye, which, in size, is just between a two-man fighter and a light transport shuttle. The Stellar Eye has the same armor as a medium shuttle, with speed and forward armament similar to a bomber-class fighter(think Y-Wings in Star Wars). It seats three people and several internal wall panels have been removed for quick repairs. Visually, the Stellar Eye is a thick disc with a short mohawk running down most of the spine, coming to a point at the rear of the ship between engines.
Companions: none Companion Pictures: ...not really available
Short history of persona: Bacon was a soldier in the space mercenary organization known as the I.T.E.O. When Bacon was hired by an anonymous Spacefleet officer on one mission, he became one of two members of the I.T.E.O. not present when it was destroyed by Togorian warships. Having no other place to go, Bacon joined Spacefleet as a pilot and mechanic.
Other: He likes bacon, although this is thought to be coincidental.
In GWI: no
(Note: Bacon of the Spacefleet guild is NOT the same as Sir Bacon of the Knights guild. Similarly, Fleet Clint and Merc Clint are different characters, at least when it comes to roleplaying)
EDIT: Adding the three Marines, who are at least temporary secondary characters. Feel free to kill one or two.
Name: Jordan "Jord" Bennigan, Andrew Kyve, Dari Vaner. Affiliation(s): Spacefleet Rank/title: Marine
Appearance: The three marines wear typical Spacefleet Marine Armor with no embellishments of any kind. Jord is a human that has long dark black hair, black eyes, and dark skin. Andrew Kyve is a near-human with fair skin, short blonde hair, blue eyes and pointed ears. Dari Vaner is half-werewolf who appears as a standard, yet heavily muscled, wolf anthro with dark grey fur with long bangs and peircing green-gold eyes. A tail sticks through Dari's armor, also Dari's human-form head has skin neither fair nor dark, and golden hair that offsets his grey fur and green-gold eyes.
Personality: The Marines have a typical stereotype Spacefleet Marine personality, in other words, they are brothers in every sense of the word, including getting in fights with each other every now and then. They also look down on any non-combatants such as professors and pilots and beleive nothing can stop them. Poor naive NPCs. ;D More idividually, though, Dari is the unofficial leader of the three and the brains of the group, which isn't saying much, Kyve on the other hand is the resident idiot among them, always first to say or do the wrong thing, and Jord is the most skilled fighter and best shot among them, and is usually more softspoken than the other two. Abilities: The three Marines know jujitsu, tae kwon do, and specialize in melee combat.
Weapons: One Vorpal sword each (think of a cutlass with an energy sheild surrounding the blade), and two knuckle-blades each. One Spacefleet blaster. Companions: None. Companion Pictures: n/a
Short history of persona: A long time ago, three little boys went to the Spacefleet academy-*brick'd* Jord, Kyve, and Dar have known each other since early in their training days. Their individual histories before joining Spacefleet is unknown. They graduated training school in the same class and were assigned to the same unit when they officially became Marines.
Other: Dari reportedly uses a lot of hair-products to keep his fur shining and clean. Jord used to have a girlfriend, but she grew to dislike him because of his eating habits. Kyve was honored two weeks before GW began for bravery.
In GWI: Jord and Kyve were, but they were just NPCs at the time, so nobody noticed them. >_>

Post by Strife on Jan 5, 2008 20:22:04 GMT -5
Name: Commander Strife
Affiliation(s): 1: Spacefleet Rank/title: Master Commander
Appearance:
leoness.deviantart.com/art/Spaceman-67834132 Slim body, light skin, average height, thick jet-black hair with a small cluster of hair on his chin (goatee), wears a black suit of space armor with acid-green trimmings. Wears a black cape that ends just above his boots, and a large black collar similar to Dr. Sloth from Neopets. His skin is also paler from being isolated in his office for long periods of time.
Personality: Because of Spacefleet and the enormous amount of authority it has given him, Commander Strife's personality has undergone a huge transformation from his normal counterpart. Instead of expressing care and sympathy towards others, he has become selfish, only focusing on his wants and needs. Instead of exploring the world and outer space, he remains isolated in his office in the space station. He is rarely heard from, and some Spacefleet officers don't even know if he exists or not. Because of this, whenever he leaves his office or makes an announcement, it is always taken seriously. To sum it up, Strife has become a bona fide villain.
Abilities: Use of earth magic, including the ability to create tremors and cracks by pounding his fist into the ground, and the ability to lift giant chunks of rock with his mind and hurl them at his enemies. These abilities do not work well in areas with heavy amounts of water or plants covering the ground. They are most effective in dry, barren landscapes, such as the surface of the moon.
Because of the stuffiness of Strife's armor and his annoyance with sweltering heat, he has had his armor customized with a force sheild that gives him exceptional protection against fire. However, he is vulnerable to other elements, and also to weapon attacks if he cannot block them with floating rocks.
Strife shares a unique type of bond with Leoness in which he can sense when she is in danger, and vice versa.
Weapons: The Leech, a wrist-mounted weapon that is powered by a mysterious crystal. The Leech can scan his opponent and 'copy' their weapon or ability, allowing him to use the exact same attack against them.
For example: A a pirate shoots a bullet from a pistol at Strife. The Leech can scan the pistol's structure and mechanics, and the crystal inside the Leech creates a 'ghost copy' of those mechanics, allowing Strife to fire the same kind of bullets.
Another example: A mage shoots a lightning bolt at Strife. The Leech can scan the mage's recessive neural pathways to retrieve the lightning spell for Strife to use himself.
All but the most powerful abilities can be copied by the Leech. However, there is a limit to the Leech's power, so the copied attack is never as effective as the real thing. It is also impossible to copy abilities that involve summoning creatures or require more than one person to use.
In addition, Strife carries a long metal spoon (about the size of a typical sword) which he uses when his laser weapons don't work.

Affiliation(s): 1: Spacefleet Rank/title: Junior Commander
Appearance: darkerstrife.deviantart.com/art/Wasting-Valueble-Drawing-Space-69688549 In his 'naked' form, Cyclops is simply a blob of thick, green jelly with a large eyeball. He moves in a manner similar to a slug, although much faster.
However, he is rarely seen this way, because he often uses a black robotic suit as his body. The main body of the suit is spherical in shape with a dome helmet. The legs are thick and durable, and the arms are made of a flexible tubing with metal claws at the end.
Cyclops has a wide variety of other suits for different tasks, such as a spiderbot suit for stealthy jobs, a tank suit for extreme combat, and even a fishbowl for sleeping and relaxing.
Personality: Not much is known about Cyclops. He normally communicates through telepathy, and in this sense, he is not used to talking like everyone else (there is a voice box in his various suits that translates his telepathy into English). He behaves mostly like a servant to Strife, following his commands and running errands for him around the space station, but he is not close enough to Strife to be considered a pet or companion.
Spacefleet officers have varying attitudes towards him. He's considered to be very fascinating and cute when inside smaller suits, such as the spiderbot suit or fishbowl. In contrast, he is very intimidating when inside larger suits, such as the robotic suit or the tank suit.
Abilities: Communication through telepathy, and climbing up walls and across ceilings. It takes a lot of strength to pull him off of a surface if he doesn't want to be pulled off. His jelly-like anatomy makes him impossible to kill with physical attacks, but he is vulnerable to the elements and can easily be blinded if his eye is hit, which renders him (and his suit) useless in battle.
Weapons: Depends on what suit he's wearing. Anything from claw attacks to laser weapons to missles.
Companions: None Companion Pictures: N/A
Short history of persona: According to gossip among Spacefleet headquarters, Strife apparently discovered Cyclops during an expedition to a rocky peanut-shaped planet. Some have even suggested that Cyclops is an enlarged bacteria cell, and that Strife shrunk himself to microscopic proportions and found him on one of the peanuts in the cafeteria. This story has been continuously disclosed by Strife.
Other: I considered making Cyclops a companion of Commander Strife, but I don't think that he'll be clinging to Strife that much. In any case, he'll give me something to roleplay about while Strife sits around in his office all the time. =P

Name: Leoness
Affiliation(s): 1: Spacefleet Rank/title: Doctor
Appearance: leoness.deviantart.com/art/Persona-Leoness-65958739 Blue and white striped cap, dark brown wavy shoulderlength mane of hair, blue-gray-green eyes, sometimes wears rounded square glasses, fluffy ears and long tail, wears fit clothings in blue-black-purple-pink colours, almost always bare-pawed. Wears a necklace with a golden nugget pendant. When in a battle, she wears a black, leather torso suit, elbow length black gloves, knee length black boots, long wavey brown hair/mane, long tail, green eyes.
Personality: When normal: Sweet, generous, ignorant, motherly, helpful, ironic and creative. When angry: Sarcastic, sly, cunning, suspicious, flirt, strategic
Abilities: Leoness has a lot of experience with fire magic and sorcery (which is also part of the reason why Strife's armor has fire protection, although he never likes to admit it xD ). She can create fireorbs and hurl them at foes, and can also manipulate flames in general.
Also, as Spacefleet's doctor, she has certain healing abilities and an extensive knowledge of medicine. She also has an enormous supply of cookies, which are a very good morale-booster and can be baked in mere minutes. Some have speculated that magic is to blame for their deliciousness and fast baking time, but this has not been proven.
Leoness shares a unique type of bond with Strife in which she can sense when he is danger, and vice versa. She also has a limited form of telepathy in which she can send messages to others, but she can only speak the truth in this way. She cannot lie through telepathy.
Weapons: A laser whip with enormous reach, or, if the whip is not effective, her bare claws.
Companions: None Companion Pictures: N/A
Short history of persona: Only one person knows of this. It shall be revealed in due time.
Other: Leoness has given me permission to roleplay with her character. She'll be looking over my shoulder every now and then to make sure I represent her persona correctly, of course. ^_^

Name: Aerisa Darkyna Affiliation(s): Mercenaries, Mages 1: Mercenaries Rank/title: Free Agent, with Scarven 2: Mages Rank/title: None Appearance: A miniature Dragon-bunny, with brown fur and white scales, slightly bigger than an average House cat Picture: aerisa-dragonbunny.deviantart.com/art/Warm-Fuzzy-and-EBIL-Love-64405405Personality: Both evil and cute, Aerisa does what SHE want, WHEN she wants. Individualistic, she tend to be on the possessive side, more so then when she is in her human form. She is also A LOT naughtier, loving to play tricks on people, or more... Also, she love burrows with a passion, for some reasons. Abilities: Can use light aka all elemental magic, capable of changing her size if she so desire. Good burrower, flexible, and a good lurker. Can feel everything Scarven feel due to their soul bonds. Weapons: Her claws and veryveryvery(x100) sharp teeth Companions: Scarven Companion Pictures: None Short history of persona: Much of Aerisa's past is unknown. First known as a Half-Dragon, she later turned into a full-human capable of turning into what seem to be a Dragon/Bunny mix(as if she wasn't strange enough already). Some time after that incident, she married the local Chronomancer, Scarven Dessan, whom she call "The best thing in my life" and to whom she is soul-bound. After her husband had a freak potion accident that turned him into an Anthro Kitty(despite all of her warnings NOT to try to do potions by himself), she decided to turn and stay in her Dragon-Bunny form until they found a way to turn him back, so that he wouldn't feel alone. Other: Can be roleplayed freely by Scar In GWI: Yes, briefly

Post by Scar on Jan 5, 2008 20:59:43 GMT -5
Name: Scarven Dessan
Affiliation(s): 1: Mercenaries Rank/title: None 2: Mages Rank/title: None
Appearance: A short anthropomorphic cat with black and white fur and deep blue eyes (refer to display picture for reference) about 1 and a half feet in height, he wears a tiny cat-sized lounge suit with a human-sized pocket watch strapped to his back
Personality: Cheeky and mischievous, Scarven revels in his new found (albeit temporary) freedom as a feline to wander among the Forum lands. Still as clueless as his previous human form, he's not very good with surprises and overreacts very often. He's also curious and likes to poke his nose into things. Abilities: He's very talented at chronomancy, aka time magic, and can use it to temporarily slow or stop small pockets of time and bend space for quick travel. Also always lands on his feet. Has a soul bond with Aerisa, his wife
Weapons: Sharp little claws and teeth
Companions: Aerisa Companion Pictures:
Short history of persona: A member of the League of Chronomancers, Scarven took the Forum as his home and base of operations away from Chronopolis and is responsible for keeping time and space secure in his homeworld and its nearby realms. In due time he became involved with a forumer and formed a strong soul bond between him and her after some events in their lives. He soon got married with the forumer, Aerisa Darkyna, whom he describes as 'my adorable snugglebunny' to all who cares to listen, most of the time Aerisa herself.
When Scarven's attempts to dabble in 'conventional' magic and alchemy ended in a magical accident that turned him into a cat, he was berated by his wife for being so careless but is thankful for her keeping him company in her dragon-bunny form. He's currently looking for ways to turn back into his normal human form
Other: Can be freely roleplayed by Aeri

Post by Kat on Jan 6, 2008 3:53:47 GMT -5
Name: Kalianne Triss "Kat" Lunara
Affiliation(s): 1: Pirates Rank/title: First Mate (since nobody ran against me...I guess that makes me FM by default?)
2. Knights Rank/title: The Violet Star of the Knights (but hey, everyone's got a pretty shiny name XD)
3. Mages Rank/title: N/A. Just another random mage.
Appearance: Refer to my sig. XD Or read this:
Basically wears blue and purple robes, boots and large gold star earrings. Ties long black hair back into a braid during battles. Brown eyes. Skin that's between brown and white. Quite tall and thin.
Personality: Is both sympathetic and selfish; calm and fiery; proud owner of a large ego; does not like being told that she can't do anything, or being treated like a kid or an incompetent. Tends to rush into things, or attempt to do anything that even she knows she can't. She is also very curious...after all, curiosity did kill the Kat. *shot for bad pun* Yes, she also has bad puns. And is quite the drama queen and avid matchmaker.
Abilities: Good with any fire, ice, light and air magic, is pretty decent (though not awesome) with a sword, and can also create familiars and illusions out of magic, heal minor injuries, and cast temporary shields. Can create magic even without the use of a weapon...but of course, it's so much more fun and effective to blow stuff up with a staff.
Weapons: Star-topped wand that can lengthen into a staff with flame-shaped ends, longsword and pirate cutlass (rarely used). Conceals a moon pendant that can detect evil magic at the cost of much magical energy.
Companions: N/A. May summon temporary magical familiar that can either take the shape of a cat, tiger or a dragon.
Short history of persona: Has mostly been living on her own, constantly dreaming of becoming the greatest mage and elementalist of all time, but recently formed alliances with the pirates, mages and knights. Originally only wanted to become a mage, then realized that using magic as a crutch would only bring about an early demise.
Other: N/A.
In GWI: Mostly.

Name: Samantha Danielle Cysso (prefers Sammy)
Affiliation(s): Mages 1: Mage Rank/title: ...*shrug*
*I'm technically a pirate because I was a pirate before this whole guild thing, but I'm too lazy to go sign up.*
Appearance: 5 feet tall, about 100 lbs. Quite skinny, especially her waist (although you never really see that because of the jacket). She wears a baggy Naruto (orange base, blue collar and hem) jacket, in which the sleeves usually cover her hands and the bottom and somewhat past her crotch. (XD) Underneath the jacket is a brown tanktop. Baggy, black pants that cover her feet, so you never know if she's wearing her signature shoes or if she's barefoot. Her hair, brown and straight, is about waist-length, and her forelocks, also straight but hot pink, are chest-length. The tips of her hair are also hot pink. Her eyes are light, crystal blue. Pale complexion.
Personality: Very, very nice and extremely modest. She never brags about anything about herself. She always thinks of others before herself, and sometimes she forgets about herself because she's helping others. Hardly ever will she fight for herself, or something directed at her. On the contrary, she's very powerful, but the only reason she'd fight would be for her friends and family, the ones she loves. Abilities: Black magic, and, when she's very angry, pyrokinesis. Sammy only uses her hands to release the magical energy, because the energy is in her bloodstream. The magical energy in her body reacts with her emotions, health, and strength. When she's angry or her adrenaline is pumped, the energy becomes stronger, more is released, and the effect is much more powerful. When she's weakened, hurt, or ill, the magic cannot be released as much because it's trying to hold her body together. If she does not release the energy for a long time, the energy overflows and clogs up the bloodstream and Sammy gets really sick. This is why her hands are often glowing, and why she uses her magic for a lot of things.
Weapons: She used to have a guitar that was black and pink. When she put her energy into it, playing the correct chords would activate an attack of some sort and would amplify her magical abilities. However, the guitar is currently broken and being fixed from bashing people over the head with it too many times.
Companions: None, for the time being.
Companion Pictures: N/A
Short history of persona: ...Uhm, I need to think of an interesting history without spilling over from the NTWF novel I'm working on... So I'll get back to you on this.
Other: Don't get her extremely angry (e.g. killing off someone she loves). Bad things happen... You'll see. ;D
In GWI: Not at all. XD
