(( Starting this summary, I'll be organizing things by place, not merely by order of occurrence in the RP, to keep things clearer. New parts, providing I am able to update, will be marked with asterisks corresponding to the addition (one asterisk for first addition, two for second addition, etc.) so that avid followers will easily see the updated areas.
This summary begins on page 47 of the GWRP. ))Castle Kestrel:
Holly offers for her and Zari to break down the passage where Wolf’s scent was lost.
She and Holly, using earth magic, are able to create a small hole in the wall, and Pyro helps to widen it a bit more; Zaha peers inside and sees something breathing.
Wolf, still in the bad place with Shino, awakens, vomiting out the poison he'd been given, and crawls back through the portal.
Taa'kan, meanwhile, enters the passage and discovers Wolf lying there unconscious; the wolf takes the other Wolf back into the war chamber and demands that Wolf be taken to the infirmary before the wolf collapses himself.
* Pyro lifts Wolf and, while waiting for Zari to assist her, telepathically sends Kat the good news.
Near Tabloid Town:
Rider (pirate) awakens and declares she and Shiva (her horse) are going to...the mages' manor. Oh joy.
Zylaa (another pirate) joins Rider. AND, no sooner than a post later, Goosh (yet another pirate) joins them.
The three discuss how they shall arrive at the mages' manor. And how Goosh sleeps in a bathroom.
In the end, they all decide to hop upon Shiva's back and have a time lapse.
Actually...a second horse appears after Rider rides off on Shiva's back, a horse named Deus, Deus Exmachina, and
this horse carries Zylaa and Goosh to the mages' manor.
Mages' Manor (inside):
Ikkin feels embarrassed. (If Kit/Scar rocked, Kit/Ikkin...boulders!) Taking Kit in a closet, Ikkin gives him a red cloak and begins crying over her crimes (cue "Crimanal" by Fiona Apple).
In the absence of the romancical Kit/Ikkin, MMM begins hitting on Scar, seriously, just swiping at his stomach, and fighting, generally, continues in the hall.
(
^_^ ROFL OMG ... *weep weep* oh, so touching... *tear*) Kit, Ikkin, Shadow...the best things I've read since Half-Blood Prince. In short, because anything longer will bring me to more tears than I'm already at, after a touching, emo-dramatic exchange of well-said words, Kit wraps his arms around Ikkin and admits his love for her.
Hunty, apparently having found her way into the mages' manor, comes upon The Scene (y'know, the one with MMM hitting on Scar, a werewolf returned to rabidness, and a dozen meepits and a fiery Zafara).
…Kit/Ikkin is so touching. Though it concerns little of the RP, hence little to actually summarize for the sake of those who read this, it's definitely worth reading, though bring a box of Kleenex if you cry easily. I don't cry easily, but I'm always made to feel like crying when I read these scenes.
Shadows memory (housed within Psyberia but presently watching over Kit and Ikkin’s unfolding love scene) forgives Kit and then passes on; with this, Shadow/Psyberia's involvement in the roleplay is sadly concluded. It shall will be missed.
In the hall again, Omni launches herself at MMM. In the process, though, her fireball hits Scar's, and he ends up unconscious (...as he'll be unable to post for a bit).
Mayhaps ending the best literary scenes of 2007, Sev comes upon Kit and Ikkin and warns of the Knights' arrival; Kit, choosing love over honor, promises to stay by her side (allegiance, from knights to mages). Ikkin gives Kit an enchanted white stick (*must...avoid...joking*) that can be changed into any weapon he wants it to (*must...again…avoid...joking *).
Mages' Manor (outside):
Kat and Shade come upon Mages' Manor, where giant stone golems block their entry.
Kat requests of the Mages' Manor entry. It denies her. Kat lies of being alone. The house declares her a traitor. Kat goes and meets with Shade.
The two decide to fight and begin fighting the Mages' Manor's defense arsenal of giant robotic stone statues.
Rider arrives (not with Goosh or Zylaa) and joins the battle (Kat being her shipmate and all), while her horsy does the same. One of the statues says he (the statue) senses no ill-intent towards the mages in her (Rider) and begins leading her inside; Goosh and Zylaa then arrive on Deus, who rides off, and Goosh slips inside with Rider; Zylaa requests of a statue to also get in.
* (( Kat did attempt to shoot down the statue carrying Rider, though she missed for the sake of continuity. ))
Loki, at long last, leaves the tunnel, and appears to be near the battle. (PFA and Kya, meanwhile, are still in the tunnel...under the battle.)
* Goosh, inside the manner, is somehow walking on a rafter that breaks and he falls...somewhere.
(( This summary presently concludes on page 52, post #777.
Also new this summary, I'll be giving ideas of how best to enter the roleplay based upon your allegiance. ))WHERE DO I JOIN?
First, it's advisable that you take a few moments to at least skim through all of the summary posts to get a reasonably vague idea of what's going in all things. If you're too pressed of time to do this much, try to at least read the most recent one (though if you truly are too pressed for time, it'd might be best to think twice about joining, this, too). If you don't do this...be prepared to be confused.
Second, just jump on in. ^_^
ALL: It'll be safe to arrive anywhere, mostly, but it might take a bit of time to get to the action. Which might be what you want. Personally, I wouldn't know.
PIRATES: Near Tabloid Town just worked for three, though upon a pirate ship or off looting someplace would work, too.
NINJAS: Being stealthy someplace. Any place. As long as you're being stealthy.
MAGES: In mages manor would be fine, and not necessarily near the battle. At first. But it seems to be a magnet for mages and the like, so it's likely you'll end up there anyways. Teleporting always works, too. If you begin outside the manor, say you got an invite for entry from Ikkin, and you'll magically appear inside.
KNIGHTS: In the castle. Or on the castle grounds. That'll work well, seriously. The infirmary works, too, if you wanna take things slowly.
SPACEFLEET: *points* The Skkkkyyyy! Yep, that sums it up. But be warned: our weapons are simple and our technology is primitive compared to your own. Have mercy. Or don't. This is a war after all, come on. But please, let us keep our moon, we love it dearly.
Edited :: to update things, obviously, much too soon for my own liking...
