3/12 UPDATE Guild Wars -- RUNNING SUMMARY

Lisengyre. You got it mostly right. And he's trying to get the shadows to agree to a duel with him instead of them just killing him. Sorry for the confusingness.

(( This post summarizes the events since my last post. If I have any of my facts incorrect, please tell me, and I shall fix them here. ))

Omni talks to Hunty's meepits, and one of them runs off to find her (Hunty, not Omni *wink wink*). They figure out that the scents are hard to follow as time-warps have skewed them and blended them together; they decide to follow Hunty's scent in hopes she will lead them to the MMM (melts in your mouth, not in your hands).

Zari mourns her loss of Zaha, then later finds that she is being followed by Holly, her sister (with unknown allegiances), and the two decide (well, one of them decides anyways) to team up with each other.

Kat creates a beacon for Taa'kan, sends a telepathic message to Pyro, and falls asleep; she then regains her human form (which is much, much more appealing than her dragonic one *whack'd a dozen times* ... *by Shino*).

Scar receives a "Form 404b" and calls Salah to come over (for dinner and a movie, of course *whack'd*).

Ikkin and Pyro continue to fight, Ikkin being unable to break through the dome protecting Shade and Kit, who he wishes to kill to avenge Shadow (and to get some of her infamous tea, of course!).

Scar gets Kit out of the dome, and with Salah and Ikkin, they return to Mages Manor; Ikkin, upon arrival, collapses (that tea's needed more than ever, it appears *sigh*).

Pyro, hearing Kat call her once again, grabs Shade and begins heading towards the Castle (so they can get a room, perhaps? *whack'd into oblivion*).

Kit begins to awaken, and, meanwhile, Kya (his twin, loyal to him and none else) sends a little white rabbit to get a message to Loki (and to bring back Alice and all her doggone cookies) for him(?) to meet them at the plum tree; soon after Kya gets there, Loki arrives.

Ginz awakens from a nightmare and heals Ikkin, who then takes Kit and chains him to the basement wall (...'cause we all know what happens in the basement). Ikkin cuts open Kit, but is unable to finish the job for emotional reasons; he asks Ginz to go tend to Kit.

Taa'kan returns to Castle Kestrel and bangs upon Kat's door; he's subsequently let in and Kat begins ranting before another knock comes upon the door.

Kit muses over his wounds (who's the sadistmasochist now?).

SadistIkkin dies. EmoIkkin is (re?)born.

Ginz heals Kit.

(In the most-recent issue of some medical journal or another, a spontaneous recovery from demonic forces has been dubbed "pulling a Kit/Kat" [out of the wrapper and eating it].)

Shades takes Pyro into the shadowlands (free room and board) and they arrive back at Kestrel Castle (or is it Castle Kestrel? Popular vote said it's either or...or what? I'm not entirely sure). They approach Kat's door, and, after a brief talk with Zari, slip into Kat's chambers unbeknownst to the knight-mage (that was one plot hole that was horrendous camouflaging!).

Kya and Loki begin towards the battlefield. (Little do they know, though...no one's there anymore...or so it seems.) PFA hides behind a rock when she sees them approaching.

Omni, Keng, the Meepits, and an unknown figured obviously presumed to be MMM (the Mysterious Mask Man, of unknown origins and allegiance) are silently following Ikkin, while she herself begins heading back to the basement.

Loki realises that someone's still at the battlefield, and PFA reaches for her kunai (kunais?) while deciding what to do.

The sun sets, for reasons of realism only. Too much already happens in a day as it is.

Zari begins inquiring of things going on after introducing her sister to everyone. (I'd assume that Zari, Pyro, and Shade have all entered Kat's room by now?)

Loki demands that the person hiding behind the rock "show yourself."

Omni ponders whose sent to follow.

The Knights wonder what actions to take; Taa'kan advises to seek out Wolf, whereas Shade wishes to follow after Kit. Discussion (bordering peacefully on the verge of debate) forces Taa'kan into silence while the others continue to converse (...or so I'd assume, it depends upon how much transpires till I return tomorrow afternoon and am able to thrust Taa'kan back into the conversation, if it even still exists come the time).

Duplicity returns. And I'm purposefully leaving that sentence ambiguous. *shifty eyes*

Kit begs and reaches out to Ginz, tears streaming down his face and falling slowly for dramatic effect. Ginz nods sympathetically, and agrees to help him with her Twig. She declares Kit a lover, and *the sappy, overdramatic exaggeration ends here*

In short... Ginz releases Kit, and together they reach ... O_O (I can not be reading this! ...but you can be).

Shade's loyalty is questioned, as are Taa'kan's true motives. A pretty pink potion plops pathetically to the purple person's painted floorboards, and Kat cries out as her crafty co-existence is catapulted to the questioning of all her conscious comrades. *three cheers for the excessive use of alliteration*

Scar, after willingly being closeted by the time god Chronos, grabs the nearest polearm and discovers Kit and Ginz in the pink emo corner (wow. I really was reading that...!). Scar, initially flabbergasted, turns emo and joins them, his polearm falling limp as he does so (the color pink can have that effect on some guys).

Meanwhile, Zari begins questioning everyone's intentions, claiming that Ikkin was correct in her actions. As well, Kat continues to disagree, and asks Pyro and Shade to make a truth potion to test her allegiance to the Knights.

In other news, PFA smells of ninja (and should take a bath).

Loki insults Patjade's well-wizened age and begins leading Kya through a hidden tunnel to the Knights' Castle. Needless to say, when Wolf gets word of this, he'll seal the secret passage off for reasons insurance fraud (contrary to popular belief, invasion via little-known secret passages is not included in castle-owner's insurance in six out of seven interactive boards of the NTWF).

Ikkin arrives in the emo corner acting very sadistic and thrusts her sword at Kit; Ginz jumps up and sets herself between blade and boy *and, due to overly dramatic, exaggerated, and sappy content, this summary has been interupted by regularly scheduled weekly-tests*

*now returning to your regularly scheduled synopsizing* Salah suddenly joins them and begins questioning Ikkin's actions. Scar, finally reduced to silence after bleeding his woes like a crab bleeds blue blood, accuses Ginz of lying to him whilst raising his polearm (the emotion anger can have that affect on some guys).

...And after all of that, Kat realises that her ranting has gone on long enough (why can't the beautiful ones ever be the silent type? *runs screaming from Shino and his newly-purchased toy shadow ninjas*), and decides she's become a bit hoarse, which is quite fitting for a knight...or, at least, it would be, if any of the knights here used the traditional trusty steed to get around instead of using demonic transmogrification and portals through other worlds. *sigh* What such a kingdom his king has created...

Taa'kan, a wise and well-wizened wolf as he is, proposes a solution.

Kat is brought to her senses by Taa'kan very wise and logical proposition of dividing and conquering (well, maybe not so much on the conquering part) so that both Kit and Wolf may be looked for simultaneously. (Dang, that wolf's amazing! And, as I happen to be the resident summarist in Fj0rd's absence, my relentless self-gratification must be tolerated. :P)

Kat declares she will go to the mages's manor and Shade decides to go with her. Kat subsequently kills Shade's awesomely-developing rogue-ishness by giving Shade an order to draw daggers only when needed, thus overruling Shade's thought that there is no disobedience if there is nothing to obey (and, truth be told, thy Lady Kat has been doing that quite a bit lately, reading thoughts and acting on 'em. ^_^ l.o.l.).

(( And that about sums it up. For now. Again. ))

(( New summary! From the end of my last one...at the bottom of page 41. ))

Duplicity continues. In a different sort of way.

Kat dismisses Shade to go get her daggers. And the mother-daughterlyness ends. ;_; Anyways, Shade gets back to Kat's room without incident, while Pyro finishes the truth potion and agrees that splitting up is their only possible course of action.

Salah's the last to learn of Shadow's death. Alas, the bitter aftertaste of revelation...

Kit takes Scar's polearm () and thrusts it over Ikkin's shoulder; Ikkin forgets Ginz' presence and thrust her own sword at Kit.

PFA remains behind the rock. She likes it there. It feels safe.

Ginz falls to the floor from Ikkin's blow, and she cries out for help before falling unconscious. (I suddenly feel bad for over-dramatizing her previous scenes...when now it truly is dramatic...and tragic.)

Ikkin slams Kit into a wall, and he loses his (erm...Scar's) polearm.

With Sev's sudden appearance, Ginz is healed and the fourth wall is broken.

The Knights rather unanimously decide to keep Kat's status as acting Queen unknown when they go to the mages' manor. She takes the truth potion and has an OBE (not to be confused with an oboe), and admits to everything already obvious being true.

Loki godmodes Kya's inner thinkings and admits he's gotten lost.

Scar finally recovers his polearm (he's very glad for that) and realises that something dark-blue and foreign is on its blade.

PFA grows tired of hiding and longs for infiltration, so she follows Kya and Loki into the tunnel, where they realise this and shoot arrows at her, demanding to know who she is. (...Dejé vu.)

Loki's terrified of ninjas (cool) and continues to godmode Kya's pov (not so cool). PFA tells them of what she witnessed during the battle above, practically naming Kit as he was the only male knight there.

Ikkin gives the order to spare Kit if he can identify the presence that had been after her, and Scar asks Kit is he (Scar) can take of his (Kit's) armor (...and this rp is taken to a whole new level of existence).

MMM turns Keng wild again, and she bites his leg. Meanwhile, Ikkin, Salah, and Omni join the scene.

Taa'kan insists that the Knights take immediate action (my words, not his), as, you know, pages of rather unimportant talking is, well, rather unimportant and wastes time...methinks. *shies away slowly*

(( Continuing from page 45 of the Guild Wars rp. ))

Ikkin confronts MMM, demanding who he is. Keng, still rabid, releases his hold (...erm, bite) on the man's (woman's, maybe) leg.

Kat announces that she and Shade will go to the mages' manor while everyone else will stay in the castle and search for Wolf.

Omni attacks the MMM (who must be a man, else he'd be the MMW).

Kya proposes to PFA that she (...PFA) join them.

Kit invites Scar to assist in taking of his (...Kit's) armor; Scar, obliging, makes good use of innuendo. (And this particular writer thinks that Kit/Scar just rocks! *deviousness*)

Zaha returns, now blind in trade for her being a stature no longer.

Kit strips off his shirt and asks Scar for some of his (!!!11!) ...to use as a bandage, of course. Upon the removal of the rest of Kit's shattered armor, Scar is brought to blushing before he puts his polearm to Kit's back and instructs him to "keep moving."

Meanwhile, back at the castle! (I have so always wanted to say that! ...not really.)

Taa'kan leaves Kat's room and arrives at the War Chamber, where he and the other Knights will begin investigating Wolf's disappearance on the next episode of CSI: Dunburrow.

After a literally touching goodbye, Pyro leaves Kat's room and comes upon the war chamber with Taa'kan.

PFA agrees to join Loki and Kya.

After saying that she needed to conserve her magic, Kat used it to gather her armor before she and Shade departed for the mages' manor (you just gotta love the irony there).

The Mages' Manor (note, all caps here, hence, a proper name) temporarily becomes a living character to help keep out the oncoming (...incoming?) Knights while Kit, Ikin, and Scar get busy and finish what they've got planned (no QMs needed).

After insulting PFA's height, Loki suggests they head towards the mages' manor (note, no caps here, hence, just a place) instead of going to Castle Kestrel (note...ah, nevermind); their course is duly altered and the Castle becomes safe while the Manor...does not.

Scar continues with his well-placed inuendo. After falling into a pool of water with Kit, he (...Scar) attempts to remove his pants, not being one who enjoys wearing wet underwear.

Zari, Zaha, and Holly arrive in the war chamber; the cat doesn't smell Shino, though she still smells Wolf.

Kya inquires of PFA.

After Kit and Scar escape the trap, they arrive in the hall with MMM and the others. Ikkin, seeing them barely-clothed and drenched, blushes and wonders what they were doing.

Keng, sadly, is overcome by her werewolf instincts and loses it.

MMM shoots a star at Ikkin. Kit dives onto her, saving her and...falling in love?

Kat and Shade make way towards Mages' Manor. Taking very much time to do very little anything.

Taa'kan, following Wolf's scent, begins sniffing around and notices the passage sealed shut.
