Hey... So I see that ya'll are planning for Guild Wars 2. Very cool. So, anyway, I was just wondering... I was an idiot and didn't notice that the first Guild Wars was going on until the very end, and I really want to participate. Is it possible for me to join in during Guild Wars 2? But I'm also just really confused with everything that's happening right now... Is it possible for someone to give me a summary in a nutshell, or do I have to read everything from the Roleplay? xD Thanks guys!

Sure you can join in for GW2. Lots of people who weren't in GW1 are coming in for GW2. And I'd give you a summary, but I'm not exactly sure what you want me to summarize... at this point, I don't know how much the storyline of GW1 will play in for GW2, so I don't know if I'd need to go over that. If you want an idea of what's going on for GW2, basically I think we're going to do a pirate/ninja war that goes overboard, getting the other guilds involved.

Oh, so it's not going to be a continuation of GW1? That makes everything a load easier... ^_^ Sounds like a cool plotline. Just one problem. I'm a pirate AND a mage. How does stuff like that work out? Also, what are they talking about on the planning board? I don't quite understand.

If you want, you can look at Wolf's Guild Wars Summery. It's eight pages long, but not all of those posts are summery, so if you skip past the non-summery posts it's technically smaller. Although the summery posts themselves are pretty big…

It'll continue it a little, but I don't think it'll be hard to catch on to, so... yeah. Just... pick the side you want to be on? Um, I dunno. But lots of people from multiple guilds were in GW1, so... I guess you can play double-agent or something. I think what they're talking about in the planning board right now is how they'll keep spacefleet from godmoding too much. You know, since they've got all the cool technology while everyone else is... not technologically advanced.

Sure we do! For example… *does a spell to create a leaf, which turns out misshapen* I actually have to learn how to use the spells. (at least that one was flat…) And Kat can use her life energy to cast spells if she's not careful, so she could pass out or… worse.

I spy a possibility for DRAMA!!11!1 *shot* *ahem* Anyway, part of what I'm saying is basically reinforcing what PFA said, buuut we're talking about the balance of power (since if you think about it, Mages and Spacefleet would be the most powerful if it weren't for measures we've been putting in), as well as other things to do with it. For instance it's likely that GW2 is going to be set in winter (and early spring)... which means stuff like using weather-related strategies. And it's likely that a bit of reading-up might be nessecary, if only because of the returning characters and how they may or may not have changed. *coughSTRIFEcough*

(Or if you wanna form your own crew, fine by me, but keeping even one shipful of pirates alive and active is nigh impossible, so don't think it'll be easy.) On that note, yes, I'm assuming that everyone who's in more than one guild will have to make a choice. There'll be alliances, yes, but no open double-agency, 'least not for long >>

I've been a pirate ever since April Fools Day 2k5 and no piece of paper can determine that! D: Just kidding. x3 I'll go sign up... For the mages, too, I suppose.

=D Yesh, I'm pretty sure GWII is a separate RP, but just as angsty and lovely as the first. Many peoples are taking the opportunity to come into this one now that the first is over.
And I'm a Pirate/Mage too. >> Hopefully pirates and mages will be on the same side.

Most will simply pick one side. Kat's a Pirate/Mage/Knight and she supported the Knights most of the way through
I have different Characters for each guild to minimise this problem. ^_^ Michelle, you have different characters for each guild so you should just play as them both on their own respective sides.
