Opening up Guild-Making

[glow=red,2,300]Before you decide to make a guild, make sure you have enough spare time to keep up with it. If any leaders go MIA, the guild will die in turn.

To make a guild:
1) Know what your guild is all about. Anyone who comes to be asking "Can I make a guild for the sake of making a guild" will be promptly despleened.
2) Find 9 other people who'll join. Yes, the number is up. This is all experimental. If you can't find 9 other people, talk to me, Tracy or Ikkin and we'll work something out.
3) Find a mod sponsor. Best go after one with too much free time on their hands. ^_^ Doesn't necessarily have to have a persona that matches your guild. After all, Tracy is a pirate who monitors (aka cleans up after) the ninjas.

This is still considered beta, so I apologize in advance for any screw-ups. ^_^

OK, got sugestions? I know there's a lot of talk about a mage guild.[/glow]

I've talked to Ginz recently, and she still wants to go with the Mage Guild (and had enough people to do so, if everyone who said they would still wants to join). I said I'd sponsor once it came up, so I'll do that, if they still want me. j;) *is probably getting annoying by now*

Mod sponsors should count in the number of people, if they're going to be an actual member of the guild as well as a sponsor. What do you think, Rider?

Hmm, I like the idea of a Mage Guild, as long as their not at war with Pirates or Ninjas:P So I can actully join 2 guilds at once

You're contradicting yourself.


If mods count as members, then Tracy counts as a member of the ninja guild. As the rules state, no ninja can be in the pirate guild at the same time as they are being a ninja, and viseversa.


Thus, I must conclude that Tracy has violated the rules, if she is indeed a pirate member, since she is a mod of the ninja guild.

Hmm, yeah, you have to choose your guilds carefully... I'm only planning to join the Mage Guild so far, if that is created...

Personally I don't believe the Mage and Knight should be together anyhow. Their not rivals, their not at war, but they are two seperate things. I mean, sure you have your "Red Mage" idea where has magic and swordplay, but still... Still seems like a wall.

Maybe we should have a thread in which people can show support for new possible guilds? Or just use this one? That way, we know when the number has been reached so new guilds can be created? jXD

Well, I figure if we do a Knight Guild, it would be separate from the Mages. After all, there are some people who I know of who are knights but not mages, and vice versa.

Anyone interested in a separate Knight Guild? It might be good to try to get a couple of Guilds up that aren't involved with the Pirates/Ninja war...

Well I never really ment for the Knights and Mages to be one guild, I ment just like Ninjas can't be in Pirates or vice versa, Knights can't be in Mages. But some people really might want to be in both *shrugs*

I mean, I like swords (and know how to use), but I don't consider myself a knight... More like a sword weilding mage ^^; And I also know some of the codes of a knight and how they became knights and all that other stuff Yet, I perfer mage.

Heh, there's enough knight-mages (Kat and I, for example) here that we wouldn't do that to people. In any case, we need to get some guilds set up without the requirement not to be in something...

But, joining them together would be equally bad. *shrugs*
