Oooh, this sounds interesting! I think it'll be a chance for me to be actively involved with other members of the forum as the splatterboard tabloids thing is far too fast paced for me. I'm not sure if I'll join the pirates or ninjas ones because I wouldn't know which one to choose XD. I'll wait to see what new ones come up though! ^^

What? No priests vs politicians? *shot*
I'm a cleric/healer/omish christian priestess. I don't really fall into the ninja/pirate categories ^^;

I was thinking that combining the Mage and Healer would be smart. XD It seems like they're in the same genre...((yes, I know they're COMPLETELY different.)) But having the two of them seperate would be...?

How to Create a Guild: 1) Choose something to center your guild around. Make it fun, make it interesting, and make it broad enough to attract members from all over. 2) Find at least five (5) people who have a significant interest in this thing that you've centered your guild around. 3) PM a mod to sponsor your guild. 4) Get more members and elect a guild leader. 5) For the love of cheese, please don't eat the carpet. I pilfered it from a very nice Spanish galleon, pleasekthanks. Any questions? Um, where would you find the 5 people? Is there a place for this, or just PM everyone you would think is interested? *Backflip'd* I leave for a day and you all go crazy. Funny how the NTWF evens itself out like that. ;D Like when I leave... and nothing happens. What? No priests vs politicians? *shot* I'm a cleric/healer/omish christian priestess. I don't really fall into the ninja/pirate categories ^^; I think you mean "amish", not "omish"...

Um, where would you find the 5 people? Is there a place for this, or just PM everyone you would think is interested? Basically how people have been You post the idea here, and people agree if they like the idea, and the chances they would join. That's how the mages got together. As for other guilds, eaither not enough people confirmed if they would join, rules on it (is it a guild where you join but can't join another) haven't been figured out, or people can't decide if they really want to join it and loose a chance to join a 3rd guild later. Since at the moment, most people are eaither Pirate/Mage, Ninja/Mage, Mage/Pirate, Mage/Ninja (yes I said two twice backwards, I know a few people may think more of one side than the other ), so they would only be allowed one more guild. So just post the idea and see the responce, than you could PM them or something if you want, I guess.

For Knights help you can send Wolf or I a PM. For Pirates, PM Rider. For Mages maybe...Ginz? Or just to figure out who these people are and what's going on just ask on one of the HELP boards in the beginning page of the forum. ^__^

honestly this part of the forum scares me...lol i usually avoid this section. but today i felt brave enough. well im still looking around and still confused as which to join...:/ Welcome to the Guilds Board, then! We're all a bunch of nice people, honestly. Until you mix the Pirates with the Ninjas and someone decides a guild-wide war is a good idea. But beneath all the fighting, flying kunei, and rum, we're all friends. ^_^ Right...? Right! I can't personally speak for the non-Knights guilds as to what goes on inside each of them (perhaps a list of what guilds offer to members would be helpful someplace?), but just decide which of the five groups you'd rather be a part of. Would you like to sail the seas, or sail the shadows behind a bush as you await your prey? Would you like to cast a spell, or join a castle? Or would you like to ditch earth entirely and go to space instead? And if you can't narrow it down, you can always be a member of three different guilds, so be it not both a ninja and a pirate.

The 'k' in 'knight' had to be given away to the domination of the world fund charity.

Why is there no vampire guild? Who thinks a vampire guild would rock?

We only have one or two vampires (umm.. come to think of it, I think the one vampire I know of left...). Not enough for a guild. You need at least 10 people. Just like there are only 2 werewolves on the forums, not including Kit's secondary character Kya which was my doing, so we don't have enough to make a guild for either werewolves or vampires. And it's not like with other guilds where you just join and VOILA! You're a knight, or a pirate, or whatever, you have to change your character into a vampire, or a werewolf or whatever it is which is a lot more drastic than changing clothes when you walk from the knight's guild to the mage's.
So while a vampire guild would be quite awsome and provide a lot of potential for a roleplay, or a werewolf guild to counter it (the problem here being that there's already been a fair bit of cooperative teamwork between the small community of the two ), it requires a lot from the people who join. You could try starting one up though. If you can get 10 people to join and a mod sponsor then you win.
The other problem I see arising though is different versions of vampire. Some are immune to garlic, some turn into bats, some can walk in the day, some can't, and with each deffinition the person who uses it probably applies it to all of the species. This could also turn into a positive thing I suppose and add some diversity to the species, but you'll have to stretch some stuff out. So I guess you could get some decent variety out of it that way.
For example my werewolf persona was infected and had to learn to control her powers and tame the beast within, while Killix, the other werewolf of these forums, has always been a werewolf and it's not a disease or a curse, you're just born as one like humans are born as humans and dogs are born as dogs. The transformation is also controllable if you can learn how, but I don't think she has the same issues with inner beastial wrath as my persona does. I explain this away by saying that they're two different species of werewolf that have evolved in different ways to suit their needs to survive. There are more differences I could elaborate on. Each has it's pros and cons. Neither of them is a traditional werewolf. Killix might have a different explanation if she's thought about it at all.
So... I've completely and totally gone off on a rambling streak, soo... toodles. Hope I answered you question SOMEWHERE in there.

Yeah, that's kinda the same reason there's not a Poke'mon or Jedi guild... or maybe that has more to do with copyright stuff.

Hmm, maybe this isn't the correct place for this post, but it's related to Guilds, a little. You have guild wars, so why not Mod wars, where spectators look on in amazement as the Mods face off in epic duels to the virtual death? What's wrong with that
