Wow, Chinese... that's a first! Could this be the first of many culture-specific royal designs? I like the male; he looks friendly, and I always had a thing for beards. The female's squinty eyes and pursed lips kind of turn me off. Heh, I know a certain Chinese Neopian who had better not see these... she's always saying how people are stereotyping the Chinese... XP

I'm not entirely fond of the typical idea of the Chinese look either... but I do think the king Mynci is pretty nifty. I can't quite imagine them as Peophins, though...

Great designs I must say. The male Mynci's angry pose makes him look like he's gonna do a Jet Li and open a can of ... you know on someone ^^
As for stereotyping, I don't see the problem. The Royal Myncis were modelled after traditional Chinese culture (as were the Greek/Roman/Altador Royal Korbats). Gives a nice touch IMHO. Which brings to mind the question of which culture is next? Japanese? (Samurai and ninjas! :3)

I absolutely ADORE them! ^^ *wants one* I hope TNT does release more culture-specific designs (as Nut said). Japanese next, please!

XP It's true. *is chinese* I hate it when people do that. I mean, I dont mind the first one, but the second one... could be a bit offensive. It's not offensive to me because 1) its 6 am, too tired 2) I'm in a good mood.

I'm not sure how it could be offensive. I mean, it looks more like ancient Chinese garb than any sort of current day outfit.
I'm totally in love with these Myncis. So unbelievably cool. Unbelievably cool.
