Beautiful, guys. Simply beautiful x3 That'll teach me to overlook subboards. I learned about this whole plot when it was already too late to send something in. Boo. Gotta remember to be more attentive in the future >>
Comics go first, as always =3
Pointless Nonsense - Faerie Wars
Nice art, and a good joke x3 Well's face looks so calm and healerish. The Acara seemed too stiff though, staring blankly all the time. And the background could've used more work, when you already put the towers there, you could either have worked on those more or left them out. And the wave Well's riding on doesn't distinguish from the background, so at first sight I thought she was jumping or something. Not going to gnaw on the footnote this time, as it suited there xD Pwn'd. Even though the 'the end' part felt redundant *is nitpicky* Still, well done ^^
Knick Knack - Faerie Wars The art is simply awesome @.@ Especially the Faeries' expressions and poses. And I love the joke, it's a casual plot-spinoff script that has nothing to do with the plot - if there was a plot x3 A perfect prank if I ever saw one. Great work, both of ye.
The Not-So-Sweet Smell of Failure Poor Smelly xD A good joke, and nice art, though the faeries look out of proportion - Smelly's body seems too small. And in the last panel Well's mouth should've been opened. The cloudy outlines of the panels felt as if it was a flashback or something, as that's what cloudy outlines usually signify in comics. But still, a nice comic ^^ The expression in the second panel is great.
The Happiest Quiggle The expressions are priceless x3 Each Faerie's personality comes across so very well, and note that I haven't checked the plot thread yet, so I have very little idea about the backstory you all worked from. I couldn't really understand what exactly Illusen did in the 6th panel, but it makes no big difference in understanding the comic itself. And the 4th and 5th panel can be a bit confusing, as both Faeries look the same way and nothing really suggests that they're facing each other. But the joke was great, and it was an awesome comic overall ^^
Shiny: Faerie Wars xD Now that was one good comic, with three consecutive jokes in the last three panels. I snerked when Glare attacked Nychta, and then it just got better. The expressions are great, okay, the art is great in general. If anything, I would've placed the speech bubbles differently, the first one between the 3rd and 4th panels gets kinda confusing, it's hard to tell at first sight where it belongs to. And the 'naturally' bubble could just have been on the table, not partly covering Glare's head. Still, one of the best comics in this week's issue ^^
Meow? That was one subtle Faerie Wars hint x3 And the joke was great, though I'm not sure if anyone who didn't get the whole plot thing understood the joke. The art is really nice. I especially liked the expressions in the last panel. And the angles are interesting. The placing of speech bubbles is a bit off, even though the Koi speaks clearly before the Mynci, his bubble is to the right, so it can get a bit confusing. But overall, nice work ^^

huba's first ever article review! : F**r** W*rs: Tactics by ladyariel32(edited to remove the FW words) Huzzah! I actually have time to read the articles n' stuff now that the play's over! Not only was this article extremely interesting and (even though it was all a joke) extremely informative, but it was unbeleavably convincing (Hmmm... '_' That sounds like some kind of paradox...)! I loved reading all the different stats on each of the faerie types, and "Fyora's" reason for starting the war seemed reasonable. Even the # of neopians joining each group sounded beleavable, since most users nowadays join the dark teams. Major Kudos to all who were involved in the prank! *thumbs up*

Wow, first time I've had a proper chance to do reviews for ages! Comics first, stories and articles later... Pointless Nonsense - Faerie Wars by petfriendamyI think the best bit about this comic is the way you managed to bring in Well - having her ride in on a wave is very clever The Not-so-sweet Smell of Failure by bird_brain312 & manda314The joke's almost predictable, but it works well. I like the sneaky Smelly pic Knick Knack - Faerie Wars by ghostkomorichu and pokemon_lunaticGreat art, as always I love the expressions you've given the faeries too. I think the fire faerie is my favourite.=-- The Not-So-Sweet Smell of Failure by bird_brain312 and manda314 Shiny: Faerie Wars by tamia_silverwingWow, I love the art, love the pet characters, love the way you've done the faeries... I think my favourite bit is the way Glare blasts Nychta over her shoulder while still managing to look ladylike and demure The Happiest Quiggle by nut862I love expressions on the faeries' faces in the last panel There are so many really well drawn comics this week! Meow? by edddibgazIt took me 2 read-throughs to get the joke, but once I realised it was a faerie wars thing the penny dropped. I like your Royal Mynci.

Pointless Nonsense - Faerie Wars by petfriendamy. Rofl. XD Oh, man. *smirk* The third and fourth panel are just...precious. XD Blaze and Well are acting like kids. :3 Know what I loved best about your comic? Kekeke...the author's note. XXDDD But only because it made everything more credible. Great job, PFA. Huba's Comic(al) Reviews: Pointless Nonsense - F**r** W*rs by petfriendamy~ I really liked this one. The "This is gonna last a while" at the end was a real kicker. XD Cool glow effect on Well's healing magic. Knick Knack - F**r** W*rs by ghostkomorichu and pokemon_lunatic~The art is amazing! Very cool pictures of each of the "plot" faeries. The puch line was well delivered, and the owner's (you?) expression is just perfect. The Not-So-Sweet Smell of Failure by bird_brain312 and manda314~ This was too funny. XD Well's line at the end made me laugh out loud, and Smelly's end-thought made me smile. ^____^ The Happiest Quiggle by nut862~ Beautiful art, awesome joke (poor Illusen -_-'), and the expressions were masterful. I didn't like one thing: Nooooo! That poor, poor pie got esploded! ;_; (jk ) Shiny: F**r** W*rs by tamia_silverwing~Not only was the art superb, but the punch line made me snort. P.S. I like the color of the walls in the back ground, they look nice with the table. :3 Meow? by edddibgaz~ It took me a second to actually get the joke, but Mynci's comic was funny. ^_^ At first, I thought the Koi meant the PLANET Earth was invading. XP *silly huba* (Goosher, I spotted your story but i got called away before I could finish. ;_; I'll rev. it later.) (also edited to remove the FW words)

Faerie Wars: Which Side To Choose?by kittygirl5170 You know, either this article or Belle’s on its own wouldn’t be nearly as fun as the two of them together -- they’re too consistent to not make people double take. And this one is a little more sympathetic to the earth faeries. *laughs* Yes…. Trust us little children… trust us… The consistency really is important. It's what makes everyone think it's real. XD XDD

Comic Reviews
Pointless Nonsense
You did a good job on the Faeries' shapes and outfits, and on the Kacheek's expressions. The Acara's face might have looked better without the long, curving line, though, since Acaras are one of those conveniently flat-faced Neopets who don't really need to have their muzzle clearly distinguished in a head-on view. Either that or make the line a bit smaller, whichever you think looks better.
Well's glow was nicely done, although maybe next time you draw water you should shade it; a few strokes of deeper or paler blue would have added some depth and texture to the wave. Also, I'm not sure the Acara's limbs needed to be completely cut off from the body, if you know what I mean; leaving a break in the outline like you did with the Kacheek's arm would have made it look a bit more realistic. You did a good job on making the Acara look furry, though, and on the soft texture of the clouds.
Knick Knack - Faerie Wars
Komori, you are, as ever, the queen of facial expressions.
I like the out-of-it practicality of the joke; the reason behind the side-choosing was so petty, and so true. So what if there's a war- at least he'll be nice and cool until the Fire Faeries arrive.
The Not-So-Sweet Smell of Failure
I like the look of boredom on Well's face, and how you had flies hovering around Smelly. Poor Smelly's name does open the door for quiet a few jokes...
The Happiest Quiggle
The art was, as always, terrific. You did a great job on the faces and hands (the latter of which invariably nails me when I try to draw). The Faeries' postures were also good; body language adds a lot to a comic.
While the joke, as most comics do, lacked the 'kaboom!' unexpected punch line I like to see, I still enjoyed it, and hope to see more mayhem develop from this start, if possible. *Grins* Y'know, you'd think it would occur to Nychta that zapping Illusen's pie wouldn't be the best way to get her to join the Dark Faeries, though. *Pictures Illusen pasting Nychta over the head with the empty pie plate*
Shiny: Faerie Wars
The lines in this one were great, as was the art, particularly on the Faeries. I especially like the Skunk pet's understatement in saying that then would be a bad time to ask for a quest. (Skunk pet... yeah. That was the only problem I found with it; while the pets were nicely drawn in their own right, it was difficult to determine what species they were.) All in all, though, really good; I just love how casually Glare deflected Nychta's first attack. Just calmly raise a hand and block the evil muffin...
Meow?
The shading and coloring on this one were really good, as were the clothes on the Mynci. To be completely honest, the joke wasn't one of the better ones, as I think the comic could have used a transition square or maybe just one of those inserted circle frames showing the Koi noticing the plants, because as it was it took me a moment to realize that the "Earth is invading!" was the fault of the plants, and wasn't just what the Koi had come to say, which kind of dampened the humor. (Although the mental picture of how that Koi would react to the Darigan Gardens just about made up for it.)

The prank sounds awesome. I haven't looked at anything yet, but it sound hilarious! Next year, I'll have to be a part of any April Fools' Day pranking. Where should look for it, though?
Anyways (in following the trend), comics first, then series, articles, and stories...
Pointless Nonsense - F***** W*** by petfriendamy I liked this comic. ^_^ It was funny, and definitely a good place for me to start the plot! hehehe. The Acara's face looked strange for some reason, but I really liked the Kacheek's expressions. The Faeries, too, were wonderful, and I just loved the little touch of the Fire Faerie not having any legs; for some reason, the flowing, fiery dress was just great for it.
Knick Knack - F***** W*** by ghostkomorichu and pokemon_lunatic The idea - and joke - of this comic were wonderful, and I loved them. I really loved the art, which isn't much of a surprise, really, and I liked each individual Faerie panel - they're good enough to print out, enlarge, and make posters out of! (But copyright issues and my lack of wall-space would hinder me from doing such. -_-)
I'm also noticing how each of the Faeires look alike in each comic, so that was a great touch of planning on the pranksters' part!
The Not-So-Sweet Smell of Failure by bird_brain312 and manda314 Ahahahaha! That was great! The art was lovely, and the comic was just hilairous.
The Happiest Quiggle by nut862 I don't know if I'll be able to stop laughing long enough to reply to this one! Seriously, that was just amazing, I really loved it, the joke, the end of it, all of it. The art, too, was simply superb, and I really loved it. Great job!
Shiny: F***** W*** by tamia_silverwing The art was incredibly amazing. Though, it almost seemed too much like gallery art than a comic, and in the first couple of panels, I found it hard to notice the subtle changing of where the two pets were looking. The font, too, was rather hard to read, so that was somewhat hindering of my enjoyment of it. Nevertheless, I really liked the comic. ^_^
Meow? by edddibgaz Hilarious! And the art was simply lovely. The ending note, to join water, was a great little touch.
It's almost a shame that this isn't a real plot. It sounds like it would be so much fun! I guess that's just another success on the part of the pranksters, isn't it? Great job, all of you. I can't wait to read the matching articles and stories - they're going to be amazing!

Another Hero's Journey: Part Twelve by precious_katuch14 The final review of a series is always an interesting one.
For articles and most short stories, you begin and you end in it just one sitting. But for series, it takes a few sittings, sometimes only two or three, but sometimes as many as twelve. And twelve weeks is a long time. I can't say how much has gone on in my life in the past twelve weeks, but through all of it, this series has been a part of it. And whenever you read something that long, whether this series or another, it's always a saddening moment when it at last comes to an end.
That all said, let me begin the review itself. Rohane's letter was well-written and lovely, very touching and yet bittersweet. You're leaving it as its own scene worked out very well, and I quite enjoyed that.
Your transitions from one scene to another where rather flawless and all of them worked incredibly well; things flowed easily and smoothly and was enjoyable to read. The one exception was the following paragraph, which, to me, feels like it could have been broken up into more than a single sentence to both flow and read better:
Aside from that, though, this has been one of the best parts, if not the best part, of this entire series.
Which brings me to the end.
The end was touching and moving and poetic and very, very good. I loved how you ended it, making final the things in this story but keeping open the hope of another. It was wonderful, and it was amazing.
As was this entire series. Sure, the time in the cave seemed rather long and uneventful for the most part, but the action and the touching moments of inter-character connection, and character growth for all involved, made this series an amazing one. I loved reading this, and I await reading more of your work, Kat.

The Secret Diary of Laurana Rose- READ IT AND DIE!by reasonably_crazy Well... having read and reviewed and edited this, there isn’t really much I can tell you that I haven’t already. Other than gloat about being the person who talked you into the lab ray, keeping Laurana a Cybunny, and zapping Markie. *is so totally inflating contributions* I still love the whole changing the name for the genders.

Catching Up: Part Eight by extreme_fj0rd I'm at a loss of what to say. Most of the time, when I'm reviewing a story, I'll find small criticisms that are worth noting or incredibly special moments that demand commenting upon. But, with this, there's neither. Typos and other such mistaken grammar I never see, and everything is already so high in quality that anything that surpasses that consistent standard is beyond words. And, go figure, I just spent sixty-five words saying how I'm speechless.
It'd be hard for me to comment on any one incident in this chapter, because, well, it was all so good it's practically impossible to single anything out. The crash, which did seem to be the focal point of this part, was built up to perfectly with wonderful foreshadowing, and the crash itself was executed without flaw. The post-incident scenes were incredible, and the inter-character dialogue was simply amazing.
Everything was perfect. I didn't feel like. It was reading anything at all. It just was, and I was with it.
The Mirror of Memories: Part Ten by sytra Woah, I'm, once again, at a loss for words here...
From the beginning, this chapter was simply great. It was skillful writing, flowing smoothly and swiftly, and it pulled me from the beginning to the end without breath. The suspense of not knowing what would happen at any moment kept me chained to my seat, my heart beating rapidly but unfelt, my breathing shallow and suppressed in anticipation. Anything that can elicit such a response in me is awesome writing, and this was definitely awesome writing, some of the best I've ever read in the NT.
