Faerie Wars: Tactics by ladyariel32
On the boards they keep referring to one article by an author who writes lots of them for the Faerie Wars stuff… And I have no idea which one it is! ;D
Earth Faeries.
Oh… was I supposed to debate or something? ;D
Being the sadistic person that I am, I think you should have left out the “a week ago” part…
I love how you have the Faerie’s divided up into ‘teams’…. Even if you seem to have an unhealthy bias against Earth. *suspicious look* Though adding the Peacemaker’s group is brilliant. …even if you gave the leader an odd name…

You guys are hilarious. I should have been paying attention to wherever you all concocted this, I would have loved to have been a part of it.. too busy not paying attention I guess, lol. You've, of course got EVERYone talking. So funny. Nicely Done. I read the comics, they're all great! I can never draw faerie faces, you're all so skilled. Love It. lol, Ame.

About the Earth Faeries, well, it wasn't intentional. *shifty eyes* I mean, I only patterned Jodi's personality according to what they put on her character profile on the thread. Kekeke... That goes for Smelly as well. XD I'm proud of how everyone who participated really managed to do meshing pieces. Especially the people who did the comics. ^_^ The characters sure are consistent in appearance.

Faerie Wars: Which Side To Choose? The funniest thing about all this is, the name Smelly for the peace-loving faerie would give something away, I'd think. Nice explanation of the plot and each faerie. I also love the blurb at the end about the Neopian Times being your 100% reliable news source. More reviews tomorrow. Luau is sleeepy...

Comic ReviewsPointless Nonsense - Faerie Wars by petfriendamy. Rofl. XD Oh, man. *smirk* The third and fourth panel are just...precious. XD Blaze and Well are acting like kids. :3 Know what I loved best about your comic? Kekeke...the author's note. XXDDD But only because it made everything more credible. Great job, PFA. The Not-So-Sweet Smell of Failure by manda314. Well looks so snooty. XD I love how you drew Smelly as well...with those wavy lines to show how, er, smelly she is. Meow? by edddibgaz. Rofl. XD I love your art style. And an indirect clue to the plot. XD Ingenious.

Ah ha ha- well done all! Though I'm really sad that all the threads Nim posted aren't topics any more. Curses. Anyway- I'm actually doing REVIEWS! ARTICLESA Million Little Unis: The Green Uni Controversy by Brains03 Eh, I'm of the Anti-GUP camp, myself, and also feel that it's just a cry for attention because those that participate don't have the skills to get said attention any other way. (shutting up!) That said, I think this article is making a lot of GUPpers rejoice and a lot of anti-GUPpers grind their teeth in frustration. Having Captain Evil Dr. Sloth represent the anti-GUPpers might also have been an insulting choice to those that feel strongly on the issue. (I, personally, thought Dr. Sloth and Mr. Sock were highly entertaining.) Overall, I liked it, though most of it I already knew. Not because I pay attention by any means; I just have Nim for a sister. I'm sure it's more beneficial to people who don't pay attention and DON'T have impossibly active siblings. Faerie Wars: Tacticsby ladyariel32 Haha, I loved this! This article was splendidly laid out and really reinforced the prank. I particularly liked the interviews you had with each faerie leader. You do know you're evil, right? Just making sure. I found it interesting that the general consensus was that the Earth faerie camp was the least favorable, what with Jodi the ditz and such, yet she was still the largest camp! Man, now I wish this were a real plot. Anyway, this was great, very enjoyable! Faerie Wars: Which Side To Choose?by kittygirl5170 Okay, first and foremost, I have to praise you on your final sentence: Hahaha! That had me laughing out loud. Oh, NT Authors are a wicked bunch. I liked the character rundown; more in-depth than ladyariel's. You definitely had good and bad points for each Faerie, and i'm just glad I don't actually have to pick a side! Ah ha ha, the whole idea was great. The Dirt on the Earth Faeriesby pyrosquirrelx Ha ha ha, the DIRT on the EARTH Faeries! Ah ha ha ha, it's a PUN! WOW I'm easily amused. This whole article was amusing, and not just because it doesn't take much to tickle me. I loved the conspiracy theories! The overall highlight of the piece, though, would have to be your segment on Earth Faerie Ovens. Tragically, that's something I'd do. (I once caught a frozen pizza on fire....) This article definitely not funded by Storm, eh? I totally buy it. (Ah ha! FUNDED? BUY? Ah ha, I'm so PUNNY. AH HA HA HA *brick'd*)

Comic ReviewsKnick Knack - Faerie Wars by pokemon_lunatic and ghostkomorichu. This was a brillant comic. I really loved the idea. But what I loved the most was seeing the Faerie leaders in full color! I must say, I like Nychta's appearance the best. ^_^ Thanks! That a was a quick idea. Well, everyone has to be practical, right? Wind and a tropic island. What more would you ask for?

Short StoriesThe Secret Diary of Danner CarnahanBy Nimras23 I hated it. Just kidding, Nim! Funny, I hadn't read this one before you published it. I love how Danner belittles Jeran all the time; Jeran deserves some good belittling. My favorite entries, though, have to be all the ones that reference Danner and his scream, both after the Grarrl and the Spyder incidents. Hee hee hee... It's the little things... That was probably the most effectively entertaining part for me, there. The Secret Diary of Laurana Rose- READ IT AND DIE!by reasonably_crazy I hated it! ...Wait...
The Elderly Delinquents: Rumble at Roo Oaksby simsman24000 I think the highlight of this piece rests on one solitary phrase: Because I notice and adore things like that. Beyond that, I really like how developed the characters were, the language they used and the interaction between husband and wife were fabulous. My one complaint, however, is that the plot seemed to meander. It started out with a telling-off to a grandson, then moved on to a forbidden race, then ended with an argument that only abstractly related to the earlier plot point, and in the end it felt like nothing had been resolved. The story was stylistically strong, but missing some substance. I am still madly in love with the interrupting Kau, however. Thought you should know. Smelly Protestsby goosher Aw, poor Smelly! Nobody loves a pacifist, particularly if they have a grudge against soap. I love the irony of Smelly choosing to disguise herself as a Water Faerie. 'Cause... you know... they're complete opposites and all that. Haha, I wish you'd run more with Fyora joining the battle... Some of the other faeries, upset with her decision, have banned together to make Fyora's quest the one banned, so she HAD to fight! Favorite quote: Ah ha ha! Because that makes all the difference. Cute story, overall! Welcome To Mondayby tazmanianunicorn Oh, Monday. It's like the world's biggest joke on itself. (Psst... Monday, like Sunday, also rhymes with Funday...) Anyway, I enjoyed the story, conclusion-less though it was. What I found to be the most clever was probably the blue hands- I don't know why, but the imagery of that (especially after getting struck by lightning!) made me giggle more than anything else, besides, of course, the first two paragraphs. Pretty much all of that was what I label as "high quality entertainment." But then again, I am easily amused. I kind of wish there had been more to it than, 'hey, look, it's a bad day,' but it was still an enjoyable, light read. A Negg Taleby evilhamster13 Ah ha ha- everyone likes the smart character/stupid character combination, but nobody can ever figure out how they got paired up to begin with. Congratulations on getting quote of the week, by the way! It made me giggle. Wisp was definitely my favorite, with her biting wit and intelligence. Some of the jokes were a bit recycled and recognizable, but effective nonetheless. ("There was a snowbeast, too?” *snrk*) Oh, the poor lesser-known negg faeries. I'm glad you wrote this; the negg faeries were generally ignored by the other NT writers, though admittedly, i have yet to receive a Negg Faerie quest. Great story, way to support the prank!

I know, I wish it were really happening, too. <.< Thanks, Reasy, I'm glad you enjoyed it. More reviews for my article would be great. I hope I can do additional reviews soon, too. *goes off*

Only one person neomailed me saying they thought the name Smelly was odd. I guess everyone else just accepted it. Thanks for the review. The interesting thing about the last line is that for the people who don't know it's a joke, it's not funny. For people in the know, it's rather ironic. And you guys wouldn't believe how many confused neopians I have neomailing me. I'm at 66 and counting.

Thank you for that compliment sandwich! I completely agree on the plot. I've always considered myself a character writer, and not so much a story one -- I suppose that's why I used to do comics, which are all about dialogue and interaction, rather than a serious storyline. Still, I know the plot was tragic in this. But I have an excuse! To be honest, I'm planning some more stories with the 'Elderly Delinquents', as you would call it, that does in fact go into the Faerie race and more. I used this opportunity as a set-up piece for the characters, to gauge interest in them and see what worked and what didn't. Knowing this, I'll dive into some nice plot material in the future. In any case, though, plot sucked.

Faerie Wars: Which Side To Choose?by kittygirl5170 You know, either this article or Belle’s on its own wouldn’t be nearly as fun as the two of them together -- they’re too consistent to not make people double take. And this one is a little more sympathetic to the earth faeries. *laughs* Yes…. Trust us little children… trust us…

The Dirt on the Earth Faeries by pyrosquirrelx
The title makes me nervous.
*growls* (Okay, I confess, I usually only accept dirt cheap earth Faerie quests, and only when my pets are ‘dying’…)
*dies of laughter*
The whole food bit is awesome -- You’re making me want to start and Earth Faerie Food gallery or something… Call it “Food of Doom.”
;D Having an Air Faerie paying off writers to badmouth the Earth Faeries is awesome.
