The Journal of a Moody Faerie by Kitty and BirdyThis story, I feel, really didn't start picking up until it was near the end and Illusen lost herself and then made up for it. Till then, I was still enjoying this, but it didn't have the conflict that I especially enjoy reading in stories and it seemed a little plain and didn't seem that special. After Illusen lost it, though, I really enjoyed watching her go through her conflicting emotions and then set everything right again. I quite loved that internal struggle over what was right and what's not, and the resolution was flawlessly done. Thanks for the review, Wolf! Anyone else care to review "The Journal of a Moody Faerie" by Kitty and I? neopets.com/ntimes/index.phtml?section=319174&issue=283

Sword of the Shapeshifter: Part Eight*sniffs* Awwww! A great ending to a great series! ;D *hopes more are coming* Thanks for the review! Yes, there are definitely more coming; I've already got the next series written (and had it written before Whisper on the Wind was published), but since I'm on vacation and the story is stored over a thousand miles away on my PC (and is thus rather inaccessible), I'm going to be sending in short stories until I get home. I've already got a Tenultra-related one written, so once I edit it it should be ready to send in.

Illusen's Day Off by Wolf
I don't usually read short stories, but for some reason this one grabbed my attention. Possibly because the description foretold amusing catastrophe. Having read it, I'm glad I did; it was very descriptively written, it flowed nicely, Illusen and Jhudora were kept in-character, and all in all it displayed a level of quality noticeably above what I've usually seen in the handful of short stories that I've read. Keep up the good work!
And the Meepits Outgrabe by Kittylin
The art, as usual, was very nice. The joke wasn't quite as good as some of your others (of course, it's likely I'm just saying that because I prefer the jokes with the abrupt, witty, unexpected punch lines that sneak up and slap you upside the head), but the facial expressions were well done. As always, you did an especially good job on the eyes.
The Happiest Quiggle by Nut
I could say a lot of the same things about this comic that I said about And the Meepits Outgrabe. The art, especially the facial expressions, was great, but the plot of the comic struck me as being mostly a build-up for the next comic, am I right? I look forward to seeing how that turns out. I like how Illusen opened Jhudora's letter with tweezers, and had there been room it would have been kind of nice to see a corresponding mental picture of the 'exploding cupcake incident' along with Illusen's silent comment. That sounds hilarious (especially if there were witnesses!).

Illusen Writes the Editorial?I loved this article :] It was well written and definitely amusing! I loved Leafy's attitude, how it wasn't fake or too overdone. Just right It was easy to read and kept my attention (which is hard to do, because I'm so easily distracted!) so great job =) Thanks, Nikki. ^_^ *glomps* *gives cookie* Illusen Writes the Editorial?*grins* I really liked this article! ;D I thought it was cool how you set it up to look like the weekly editorial. More like this soon? *Doglefox eyes* Thanks for the review, Birdy. ^_^ Yay. Glad you liked it. I always plan to write more but it seems I never do. I actually wrote something like this last Fyora Day. See how long before my follow-up appears? XD Even more reviews for 'Illusen Writes the Editorial' are appreciated.

Comics And the Meepits Outgrabe by Kittylin Hehe. A lovely little one panel comic. The art is beautiful and the text is nice and clear and it's easy to understand the flow of the conversation. "Fun-size." Nice.
The Happiest Quiggle by Nut Another lovely and detailed comic by Nut. Ah, how I look forward to your stuff. Anyway, as usual you didn't disappoint. This is one of my favourite comics by you. I just adore the panel featuring Illusen trying to remove Jhudora's letter with great care.
Knick Knack - Illusen Special by Dimitris and Goosh The script is creative and a nice twist on that silly random event. Whilst the art is quite detailed the arms of the Soup Faerie in the last panel are a little off. The overall effect of the art and script combined is nice though.
More reviews coming later. Must go to parent/teacher interviews now *shudders*
Also, any more reviews for my article, "Slime Trails" would be greatly appreciated.

Articles[glow=blue,2,300] Slime Trails[/glow] Congratulations on getting on the front page! The fact that you took the time to write a long introduction was a nice touch, giving the reader that extra feeling of anticipation before you started talking about the Slorgs. ^^ I liked the line about Moehogs and Buzzes; it caught me by surprise and made me grin. XD And it’s all too easy for me to imagine a Tyranian Slorg sitting on someone’s shoulder and oozing slime through the shirt, but in a way it’s kind of cute… ^^ Yes, this is a fellow Slorg lover here. XD Compared to the long introduction, the descriptions of the Slorgs themselves seemed short. I would’ve liked to see more about each one. It was nice, though, to see it end with the plain green Slorg. ^^ And I agree that it’s hard to think of so many smiling faces as icky, but maybe I’m just biased. XD [glow=blue,2,300] Illusen Writes the Editorial?[/glow] At first I was wondering about the question mark in the title (and, for that matter, the image), but it all became clear after the first paragraph. XD And yay, another editorial article from you. ^^ You have a way with imitating various types of writing in a realistic and fun way, and your editorial articles feel very realistic. The captioned images are a great genuine touch, and Leafy’s personalit comes across smoothly in the writing, which is full of amusing cheeky humor. The introduction started off by getting us prepared for an Illusen article, only to bring us crashing down with the abrupt change in tone as Leafy took over. I enjoyed the last line about junk mail in the introductory paragraph—Leafy said it so casually and naturally that the underlying meaning caught me by surprise and made me want to read on. Yess, listen to the Water Faeries… I think there’s a couple of typos in here... if I read this right, I don’t think there should be a comma in the first sentence, as in “Besides giving away prizes, I mean…” I’m not quite sure about the second one’s meaning, but “this” is definitely out of place. ^^; Hehe, this reminds me of my Illusen story last year. It looks like Trika wasn’t the only one who wanted to have tea with Illusen and her plushies. XD; My favorite questions were the ones about losing weight (hehe, I wouldn’t have guessed Gross Food would be the answer to that), chocolate (an interesting theory about why she asks for so much of the stuff, and it makes sense ), and Kadoaties (the line about shedding a tear was amusing). All in all, a very well written and fun article. ^^ I’m glad to see you back in the Times. [glow=blue,2,300] Illusen’s Secrets to Staying in Shape[/glow] I’ll echo Wolf here and say that it’s really nice how most of the suggestions you give are applicable to real life. Even the one that might’ve been questionable, the one about volunteering as a Tiki Tour Guide, was a creative concept and that made it interesting. The article is written like a real magazine article, and Illusen’s bouncy personality comes across nicely in her quotes. You stick to the “official” magazine style, making it all feel very in-character. ^^ Nicely done.

The Happiest Quiggle by nut862: Miss your arting, Nut. It's good, as it should be. I think that at the end panel with the actual Happiest Quiggle, it should have a little thing saying 'Meanwhile...' or something. Just a little thought. Nice comic overall! Heh, yeah, I need to look over your scripts. ^^;; Thanks for the review. Hmm, I was tryng to get away without narration boxes, hoping the changes of scenery would be enough, but I guess it was a little confusing. Thanks for mentioning it. The Happist QuiggleHehe, this is so cute. I love the quiggle it's adorable. Sadly, I'm slow and didn't get it really at first but I get it now. But it's not your fault that I'm slow Good job! I liked it. Thanks, I'm glad you liked it. ^^ To be completely honest, I'm not sure what the joke is either. ^^;;; But... I'm glad you got it? The Happiest Quiggle;D I liked this! Great artwork, I really like how Illusen was holding Jhudora's letter with tweaser-looking things, and the leaf shield. And the last panel = XD Thanks, Birdy! ^^ I'm glad you liked it. Ooh, and you noticed the Leaf Shield. Yay. [/quote] Yay, thanks for the review. ^^ Yes, this comic is pretty much just setup. *nod* I'm actually surprised that you're the first person to notice; I didn't expect anyone to find it funny, because I honestly am not sure what the punchline is. o.o; Ahh, yes, the exploding cupcake incident... Apparently there was at least one witness, considering Illusen knows about it? XD I like the idea of a mental picture; that would've been fun to draw. ^^ I'm glad you liked the tweezers. That one came pretty naturally... After all, shouldn't precautions be taken when opening mysterious messages sent from your enemy? The Happiest Quiggle by NutAnother lovely and detailed comic by Nut.
