Reviews: The Lost World of Stnaltia: Part Two:I really like how your story is going. You are quickly developing the plot but at the same time not excluding a bunch of detail.  It is a very interesting story so far. Oh, and it was a good idea to put the pronunciation guide at the end. Just out of curiousity, how many parts is your story? How to Play Yooyuball... Without a Yooyu!Very cool idea. I like how it was more of a real-life article rather than a Neopets article. Creative ideas, it makes me want to play.  A Manly Man’s Guide to Neopian FemininityHaha! This is quite a hilarious article, but does make a good point. I imagine there are way more females than males out there. Very entertaining. I must say, I loved this line: "You disgust me. Since you’re probably still reading, I’m going to take a guess, you’re a gross feminine girl wanting to see what the masculine upper power is up to! I knew it! " It's true! It's true! Nice job. Regarding the Exchange of Round, Wet ProjectilesWow unique game idea. Sounds fun! ^.^ I didn't know there were so many snowballs (Pictures!!  ). I found this article to be very entertaining. "A Manly Man’s Guide to Neopian Femininity" by Apollo
I read this article, intrigued by its headline, and I liked it. It has great humor, and I suddenly feel inadequate...I suppose I might never be very much of a manly man. But then, I'm not a Neopet, so...maybe I'm good. Overall, good work Apollo - I had a lot of fun reading this!

Chronicles of the Court Rogue Part Nine by Nimras:
Ooh, great part. Cool plot twist and writing's good as always. There were a few errors in there, for instance you said "Reaching the padded room exercise room," but nothing too major. This series is really genius and the next three weeks should prove to be great. ^^

How to Play Yooyuball... Without a Yooyu!
Roffle! I love it! I was wondering how you were going to instruct us to make some of those balls. Wonderfully creative. I'd worry a little about the guttering taped to my arm but I probably wouldn't like anything taped to the inside of my arm. I liked how it was more of a real life article than directed toward the Neopets world. Usually you can only find those in game guides and writing guides. n:)

You actually do this? How fun!
Definitely a great idea for bored Neopians to amuse themselves with. You've probably started all sorts of "Dung" and "Pizza" snowball fights out there. And definitely gave me an idea if I ever feel up to coordinating an event here at NTWF. This year, we're not only going to exchange gifts, we're going to pelt them at eachother! n;)
In all seriousness, good idea to point out some rules, helpful tips, and variations on the game. I was having fun just reading about it.

Regarding A Manly Man's Guide to Neopian Femininity
When I first read it, I thought "Oh man, this is pretty risky for a NT writer," since it deals with the touchy aspect of gender roles. Still, I really enjoyed, and related, being a guy and all. I saw the title and thought "YES. This is the article for me."
... the funny thing is, the first time I was reading it I got distracted and didn't make it to the end, so you REALLY hit it on the head at the end.
Regarding Dangerously Insane
I thought this one was hilarious. The idea was clever to begin with, but what sold it to me was the execution... namely, her reaction, immediately followed by "hey! A lever!" Seriously, really well timed.

I love the art, I love the story, I love the concept - it reminds me of Saturday morning cartoons I used to watch as a kid  Adventure!!!Another very simple one. It's very good and you got the timing spot on A Manly Man’s Guide to Neopian FemininityLove this, especially the last two paragraphs Regarding the Exchange of Round, Wet ProjectilesI love snowball fights! We did this a lot on the LAT board during the LDP, but I didn't realise it was so widely done, or that there were so many snowballs, come to that! |
