THIS WAS AWESOME! Sorry, all caps. ^_^ Really. This was great. I loved your announcement by Ixifer L. Trottingworth. I also adored your courtroom session. Was it intentional that it resembled one of the VFD codes from the Series of Unfortunate Events?

Your writing in this is flawless. I honestly felt like I was listening to an actual interview, with actual people, not just characters written into a story. It's really good.

Wow, I didn't know there were so many famous Ixis - the only one I knew of was Sinsi! Maybe another one will soon be added to the list: In my story "Patience," which is being held by Neopets, there is an important Ixi named Yasuo. Maybe he'll become famous, too. I must also applaud you on your writing style - it is very clean, concise, and easy to read.

The Completely Brief Comprehensive History of Neopia by Sims: Wow, this is weeeeird. XDD I didn't really understand the whole concept of the thing, but some of the lines in there were really funny. I liked the sign about the Neggery being shut down because of costs, and the discussion in Centralville (did this remind anyone else of Lemony Snicket's unauthorized biography? Was that what you were aiming for?) Good, but strange. Princess Troubles by Huntress: Good as always. ^^ I liked the look on Shad's face when the Aisha began to noob talk. XD Nice job. Shoyru Squadron: Cool ending. Does this mean the story will be continued as a new story or are you moving on to something completely different for SS? Little Orby by Tashni: I remember seeing this in Work Reviews and Advice, so I won't say much more than I did there. Great job, nice art, and funny joke! Spooky by Komori: Aw, this turned out fine. There's plenty of other Altador Cup related pieces in this week, so yours isn't out of the ordinary. I love the constellations in the back, nice touch. And this story is like story of my life. XD So true. Sanity Obsolete: Heh, the Usul was great. Good art (<3  ) and funny comic. Nice job, you two! Warning: Why hasn't this been done before? XD This was really creative. Nice job. Although the art was a bit strange where all the dots were, it looked a little like dust? Not sure if that was on purpose or not, but nice job anyways. ^^ Chronicles of the Court Rogue Part 10 by Nimras: When I started reading, I was thinking the story had moved quickly from part nine to ten, but then I read further.  When Mareian jumped over the puddle and Jeran caught her I was reminded of Dirty Dancing. XDD Good part. ^^ Can't wait for the end.  Short Story reviews coming later. No time now. |

Thanks I'm glad you enjoyed it. I want to point out a mistake that I made  The last Ixi mentioned, the shopkeeper of Ye Olde Petpets, is actually a female Ixi named Nanci. Someone neomailed me with that information earlier and I had no clue until now I had looked through the Neopedia for information on her but they hid it xD I naturally looked under Ixi but it was under Ye Olde Petpets  |

Hah! Thanks for the positive reviews for my article! I'm so happy to be back and writing again. Yes, I was aiming for the Lemony Snicket-esque conversation. The Completely Brief Comprehensive History of NeopiaThe writing style here reminds me of a mixture between Lemony Snicket and Hitchhiker's Guide. Entertaining, but only for short amounts of time. And then it's a good thing your article was relatively short. I love the intro. "Neop-- *sizzle*" And the Mortogs are pretty random, hehe. Most of the jokes hit the mark like the Negg Faerie and the notice from Brightvale Books, but others like the Brain Tree and the Buzz and the Uni segment just didn't seem funny to me. I guess they may to others.  I assume this is meant to be up until present day. Was issue 143 a typo or something you forgot to change? "Issue 143 of the Neopian Times has just been released! Go read all the great new articles, including The Completely Brief Comprehensive History of Neopia. That is all." Shouldn't it be 248?

Hi all! Thanks very much for the reviews (and for the past few weeks' reviews as well)... I wasn't able to thank you guys properly since work got a bit hectic plus I had to recover from a bad hard disk crash. Really appreciate it, guys. Shoyru Squadron by the_darkjedi - Ah, the end. It was good! Nice bridge to another plot. Do you intend to continue SS or are you retiring? PLEASE DON'T GO!! Not going anywhere. I'll be taking a couple of NT issues off, but the plot for the next case has been completed, and the first installment should be hitting the NT soon. Shoyru Squadron: Agents of Faerie by the_darkjediI'm a bit lost with this series...I might catch up with it if I find time, though; it seems like a very interesting story and all. Faerieland's Clipped WingsVery cool title. Though things like this don't usually interest me or hold my attention, your writing was so unjumbled and clean that I read through it with no problem. And I caught that reference to playing yooyu ball without a yooyu when she used to foam ball! It bothered me a little that she was talking about the second round and the second round is over, but I guess there's not much you can do about timing.

I liked that not all the great ixi were good guys. And I had only heard of Sophie and Sinsi...and the shop keeper, but I'd forgotten she was an Ixi.
Your tone is very informative, though you had a few bits of comic relief. I think if you're going to make an article so informative, it has to have interesting transitions to keep the reader reading. I wish each ixi would have had a different intro than "This next ixi" or "an additional ixi." Besides that, it was very informative and nicely written.

Illustrious IxisGreat article, lassie_nikki! You taught me about some Ixis I've never even heard of. If not for your wonderful article, I might never have heard of these Ixis such as "Briar the Ixi" or "Tricky Ixi". However, it did seem I heard these words too many times: aptitude, infamous, renowned, notorious. I searched and each was only in your article twice, but to me I guess my brain just remembered them very well. Nikki, I'd have to say you're one of the coolest article writers out there! Your articles are not only entertaining, but they teach you more about the world of Neopia. I like how you teach us about pets, petpets, items and characters all across Neopets. However, I really think you should write more short stories... ^^; A job well done... A story well written...
