I LOVED komori's comic! ^^ As usual. =P I especially liked the cookie stuffed in Komo's mouth. Scrumptious.

The 10 Most Obscure and Forgotten Neopiansby mali_the_silent_wolf The Stuff! Muahahaha! *coughs* Sorry, I like the stuff. About the only thing I would change would be a mention on where you could find each of the ten Neopians. Some I knew of, and know where they are – others I didn’t. For example, The Beast that Lurks Behind the Tree, did you get that from the Neopedia? A random event? Other than that, I really enjoyed this article. I’m one of those geeky people who like learning obscure facts about things that will never have an effect in my real life. There was obviously a lot of research into this, and you included Lady Osiri. *beams*

An Evening in the Archives: Part Twoby shadowcristal and precious_katuch14 Only two chapters? I’m surprised. (Yeah - this coming from She Who Cannot Shut Up…) The poor Meepit! I liked him! Excuse me while I go cry. … Okay, I’m back. I like how you explained how that was his favorite of all his Meepit Plushies, and gave them an actual history together. And how you explained the dagger. Kudos for you two!

And I actually recieved alot of neomail where people complained that The Stuff was a food and therefor didn't count as an 'oscure person' I say The Stuff is awesome and who cares if its food!

Dusk in Tyrannia: Part Fourby alkuna_ Ack, fangirls! …sorry, reflex… “And my eyes caught the dim light over the audience and began to blow with yellow green fire in the pupils. A neat trick I learned back in the Citadel.” Was that supposed to be ‘ glow with yellow green fire’? I have to admit, I’m not a big fan of concerts like that (in real life). You did a good enough job of describing the whole thing to make me feel uncomfortable.

Shad and Saura: A Week in Bogshot - Part Fourby ssjelitegirl "Show me what happened at Bogshot last night or the Meowclops's litterbox may land in the wrong place." *snicker* I love the way he interacts with the cauldron. It’s just such a … loving relationship. I think Shad’s figured out why witches are usually grumpy.

In Fashion: Names by ladyariel32 Haha, there's nothing bad I can say about it. I loved this and it was amusing. Nadashikoh was perfect. I loved everything about this!!! Thank you. ^^ I've been getting plenty of Neomails for this article (but that could be because it's on the frontpage of the Times - my first time to have an article there. Yay! ^^) and I'm glad. ^^ Some people took the article too seriously, though, and I had to point out my Author's Note quite a few times. ^^;

One Stormy Day, Three Sunny Resolutions : by violinoutoftune Gasp! That was just too cute! And it reminded me of me when I was little (though I more impressed by lightning than afraid of it). Very nice description, and the dialogue is great, especially in the awkward part at the end. Spooky by ghostkomorichu xD Great work as usual! The expression on Komo's face in the last panel is priceless. The leg up is awesome too. Ai Yi Aisha by yami13331 Heh, good joke, I love the line at the bottom "and that's how I scored 62 on my second Physics test. --;". Great artwork of the anthro aisha too, though the ears look a little awkward in the second panel. Something Has Happened by tdyans art by nut862 lol, the denial of the mad lupe and the misunderstanding of the disco shoyru work very well. The artwork (and the simple background) was great, but it was a little hard to work out whether or not the techo was a quiggle, but that's just me being nitpicky. Also, the clouds shouldn't have so many fluffy arched lines in the middle of them, since they tend to look more like shadows rather than outlines (I'm being nitpicky again...). Shoyru Squadron: Agents of Faerie by the_darkjedi Wow, I reeeallly love the dramatic frames and the bolded writing! Looks painstaking xD The closeup of the blumaroo is just awesome for the last frame. Excellent work! Also, this isn't done by anyone in this forum (as far as I know), but "Mindless Jabber" by chakathemoogle is absolutely superb. Despite the eye-burning heads floating in the air, despite the overused font, despite the completely white background... the idea was brilliant. Pure brilliance. I can endure anything for an idea as good as this. Well... I guess I was a little over-anxious to draw an actual gallion in the gallion ranch xD Thanks for the comments, everyone!

I spent a lot time rewriting and making changes to that part. Thanks!

The Ten Worst Ways to Leave the Darigan Citadel by iamskot and lupe_friend77
Not an NTWFer as far as I know, but I was laughing enough throughout the article enough that I thought I'd post a review anyways.
The ten worst ways to escape *cough* leave the Darigan Citadel are very imaginative, and amusing. Especially the pro/con format used.
For some reason, I think number six is my favorite: A five hundred foot DEATHSLIDE.
Pros: A completely and utterly exhilarating plummet, which won't actually harm you. You can even race your friends to the bottom and impress anyone else watching your rush to the bottom.
Cons: Friction burns.
No, seriously. Friction burns HURT.
*snickers* The mental images alone are worth an A+ for this article.

In Fashion: Names
I've seen quite a few articles about names in my time, but I truly think this is the best-organized, most original one I've seen. You did research (which I obviously knew you had prior to reading the article), and used it effectively. The ?/10 Neopets have_____name is a great way to put perspective on some of the trends and not-so-trends. You had creative tips like number of syllables, the h phenomenon, and creating feminine/masculine names that I haven't read or haven't read often. Well done--I'll be looking for the next one!

Ohkay, before I start reviewing, I'd like to enter this lovely semi-offtopic semi-pointless semi-rant. I've been thinking that for weeks now and Hunty here can sometimes go nuts or blow up when unable to vent a little. Take it as a rather harsh review if you like. In short, IMO the NT comic section has been going downhill lately. I've read every single comic in the past year ever since I started contributing mine (just so that I wouldn't accidentally copy ideas and such). I really enjoyed reading them. They were funny. They were the best part of my Saturday mornings. But now? I know I've improved a lot in the past year, I can recognize redundant things and comic no-nos fast - but that's not the point; the point is, many of the recent comics don't even make me raise the corner of my mouth any more. They're just not funny. Some are plain confusing. And this week has four Meepit comics. I won't even get to afternotes >.> Okay, maybe it's just me. Eh, I hope it's just me. But I wanted to get this out of my system...
Fine then. Time for reviews ^^ (And thanks Nim for the review :3 *hugs* I was kinda proud of all that cauldron stuff myself. Finding interesting touches for stories can get hard...)
The Gallion Ranch - spinoff: the joke isn't all that original but pretty funny nevertheless :3 (and mind you, I'm saying that in the light of my previous rant. Hehe. My mood doesn't change fast so I'm probly gonna be kinda strict here. Sorry, y'all.) The art was great ^^ Loved that happy expression on the Gallion. The only thing... the comic could've been smaller. I mean in general. The text is big, there isn't much going on and the background is plain enough so scaling it down a little wouldn't have hurt.
Spooky: WAH! It's been what, six weeks? (Yep. I checked. Too much free time.) I love all the expressions, especially Tombstones's in panel two. And that effect of the two ghosts' auras combining was neat ^^ The "little bit heldover" part was the pearl of that comic. (Really, comics take weeks to be held over these days. It's not the first time I'm saying that.) On an unimportant side note, you have a really interesting handwriting xD *pokes the 224*
Ai Yi Aisha: my first impression was that the comic felt... narrow. Kinda squished from the sides. Apart from that, loved the joke and the art ^^ Though the brown background made it feel... depressed. Brown isn't generally the best choice for a background... reminded me of Cartoon Network's "Time Squad" (love that show x3) where most missions that take place in America have blue sky and missions that take place in Europe generally have brown, cloudy, depressing sky. Go figure. But it instantly sets the mood.
Something Has Happened: I think I saw its script on the Collabs board and I love what turned out x3 It realy made me chuckle. Oh the hysterical artwork... Scarblade rocks ^^ And the Techo's expressions are worth a second read-through. The mad-angry confusion was a reversed version of "Sheep in the Big City" (yes, I watch too much Cartoon Network for anyone's liking) but I loved it. Well done, both of you =3
Shoyru Squadron: Agents of Faerie: reading it got a little hard as the comic generally consisted of two big panels and small ones were placed on it. And somehow I still managed to get the right order o.0 Placing the panels like that must be taking some serious skills... And the art pwns as usually x3 The effect on the trees is really neat and the BOOT panel is downright hilarious xD
The Locker Room: tis Keng's comic, right? That's what you get for not having your Neopets usernames in your siggies... >.> Anyway, loved the art xD A bit light and thus the text was hard to read but the expressions were priceless. You gotta make comics more often, really...

It's not just you, Huntress. I totally agree, the comics have been pretty weak as of late. It's almost become a chore to read them. And dude, I love Meepits as much as the next Neopian, but come on. Meepits are crazy, evil, and want to take over Nepia. I get it. Let's just move on, shall we? (I think Droplet should just start rejecting those Meepit comics for being unoriginal.) And thanks all for the reviews of Spooky. I'm glad you liked it, and I'm glad I got a comic in after such a long time. And I'm especially glad people caught that heldover joke. ;D Hehe. ___ Anyway, on to my reviews. Haven't done this in a while. And I don't pull my punches, so read on at your own risk. The Gallion Ranch - spinoffThe joke is very simple, and the art is very simple. So why on earth did it take two people to do? I have pretty strong opinions about collaborations. The script writer needs to take just as much time and effort in thinking of a joke as the artist spends drawing the comic. I mean, a joke like this couldn't have taken more than a minute to think up. Then that person gets a trophy? While artists who draw AND write their comics get the same trophy? Or authors who write stories with thousands of words? Sorry, it just rubs me the wrong way. Otherwise, it's a cute comic. The art is clean and simple. The text is nice and easy to read. It's very clear what's going in the comic, and there is little confusion. I would've liked to have seen some sort of reaction in the trampoline, like it tenting upwards as it releases the gallion into the air. But the 'boing' helps clarify the event. Ai Yi AishaCute comic. The joke's not laugh-out-loud funny, but it's not bad. I think that afternote works really well as a punchline. It might have been a stronger comic if you had used that afternote as dialogue in an addition panel, where the book owner is talking to some other pet or owner. I think you really ought to push the expressions a bit. The eyebrows on that Aisha never change position at all. She's reading a book that makes no sense to her, try to make her look a little puzzled or something. And her mouth is so tiny, you barely notice the change from that tiny hypen line to the dot mouth of surprise. Also, in the first panel, her eyes don't look like she's looking at the book, they appear to look at the viewer. Something Has HappenedHehe, nice comic. I know I've seen that joke somewhere before, so it felt a little worn. But it's still nice. I think it's one panel too long, though. Jokes work best in 'threes'. Scarblade says "I'm not angry, I'm mad" two times, and on the third one he freaks out. Four times was a tad much. The art's really cute. I love the gradual increase in expression of the Techo and of Scarblade. His freakout image was especially wonderful. There are dots on his face in the first two panels, was that inentional? Shoyru Squadron: Agents of FaerieSquee, this is such a fun storyline. And I really love the art. I usually don't like it when things are shaded with black, but this gives it a nice comic book feel. The layout is really great too. All the little panels flow in a nice diagonal pattern, then the dialogue leads the eye to the last panel. Plus, I love how the storyline is easy to follow. Each comic is such a small event, but it still feels like the story is progressing at a good pace. I wish the font was the slightest bit bigger, though.
