I've love reviews for "The Mask of Calendroh: Part One." It's only two parts -- too long to make one short story. Looking forward to next week, too.

Okay... let's give this reviewing thing a try. I'll try to keep them to the point... so... comics... The Happiest Quiggle by nut862I really liked this cartoon (once I could get it to load with my dial-up)... the drawings were as good as I know Nut's usually are, and the punchline was simple but funny. What I especially liked was the different personalities that you can make out from just a few frames. Poking fun at the "sold-out" screen was witty too. All that I noticed was that your colour lines went over the black outline in a few places, making the images a little less bold. Spooky by ghostkomorichuGreat drawings once again by Komori. I love the way she uses a few very simple lines with just the right thicknesses at just the right points. It makes for a very smooth drawing. And the setup was cute; I honestly didn't guess the punchline coming, but when it came, I would have been giggling nervously if I weren't too busy admiring the artwork. Stuck in the Lost Desert by spotthechelsey*grumble* Refuses to even start loading. I'll see if it's any different tomorrow... Notions and Nonsense by patjade and 0523ckCute. It was easy to read and not too complicated. It wasn't exceptionally hilarious (I have to say the table threw my perception out of whack XD), but a lot of younger players are really gonna like it because they can actually understand it. Mootix Madness - We Have A Winner! by leoness*goes to read first part* *reviews both parts together* I haven't really read that many comics on Neopets before (the dial-up and all), so I hadn't seen any of Leoness's other Mootix Madness entries before. Because of that, when I saw the first couple of frames, I laughed my head off. ^^ I have never seen anyone ever attempt to characterize a petpetpet before, but she does an excellent job of it. The expressions are enough to make anyone laugh by the end, and the story of the comic is lively and funny throughout. The only thing I have to say is that the difference between the computer art in the first and second parts was fairly bold, since Part 2 had more background, more gradient, texture, etc. -- but this part also depended more on the character's surroundings to bring the plot together, so more background detail was okay, IMHO. Beautiful work.

Stuck in the Lost Desert by spotthechelsey*grumble* Refuses to even start loading. I'll see if it's any different tomorrow... I'm sorry... ;__; What speed connection do you have? 'Cause if you're on 56k, it takes approx. 1 min, 15 secs. I don't have a loading sequence for my comics yet, so it may be loading even though it doesn't seem like it ... it's on my to-do list. I'm almost, done, I just have to muddle through the script behind it. >_<;

Thank you so much for the review, Tamia! ^^ I know the color lines overlap a bit; a lot of my comics had that problem, and I noticed it recently and have been trying to work on it. Thanks for pointing it out. ^^
More reviews for The Happiest Quiggle appreciated! :3

My first reviews since Avalon was out...
Karma Comes Around- Nice job! I wasn't expecting all the questions that were there, and you did a nice job with them!For some reason, I especially like the part about nobody caring that Jhudora is misunderstood. I scored a 6-9 ^^ Yay good karma!!
Why Blue Draik Eggs?- Very nice art! The animation was pretty good too, especially the clock and the Kad's shift eyes. You've gotta wonder what they do with those eggs...you can't eat them, can you??
The Happiest Quiggle- Nice artwork! It would kill me to sit down and draw/color like that..@_@ Especially all the nice shading you do...Love the slorg ^^

Hopefully I will settle with something soon xD
