*kisses Dan as the first act to be done for the day*
Um, that aside, so what were we going to do about the spambots again? Because the list of IPs associated with them got killed with MS, and I really don't feel like compiling that list all over again.

I thought we were just going to make a board where we put all the spam somewhere in General, with the description 'Don't Click'? (Because it was getting too much of a hassle to delete.)

What happens when people click out of curiosity? I'm not sure... I was just spouting off the one idea I remember from the old thread. xD;; I think it was... Tracy's maybe? Or Rider. I'd look it up but cannot, obviously. ^^;

KittenC says: I'm going to usurp Stal as Dictator of the Splatterboard. :3 Macavity says: Whatever for? KittenC says: So I can flirt with people and they can't refuse. xD

Well, it wouldn't be too bad... hopefully they'd have enough common sense not to hit any of the links in it, though.

So what if one or two forumers gets hit with a few viruses? *shrug* I'd probably worry more about getting added to weird mailing lists and the like than about viruses. But hey, we're mods, not kindergarteners. If a big Do Not Click sign doesn't help, then the only thing that probably does help is learning it the hard way. The interwebz is full of stuff you shouldn't click, after all.

And like we've all chorused, deleting it is too much work.

FYI, I'm just going to start telling people no on the changing profile requests.
We're mods, not some lowly servant around to give them a scrolling custom title of inane witicisms simply because we like giving them to our friends.

We're mods, not some lowly servant around to give them a scrolling custom title of inane witicisms simply because we like giving them to our friends. Yeah, it was starting to get a bit out of hand. Titles used to be given when you did something... worthy?... and now it's just a big joke.

Wait, hold on Stal... I totally disagree on that. Custom titling is a kind of joke, not a you have to be worthy thing.
Besides, isn't part of the mod's job to serve? Stop changing people's profiles for them? You gotta be kidding me.
