Just like with deleting spam posts, changing custom titles every day just because someone gets 'bored' of their current one is just too much work, IMO.

Um, we don't. We let the thread grow real long and poke it to make sure it hasn't come alive and go back to what we were doing.

But yes, it is a bad idea. What does it take us... Two minutes to change someone's custom title? It that really so much to sacrifice? Honestly, guys. We don't really have all that much 'real business' to do in here.

Seriously, custom titles should only be given to us and our friends. Perks to go with our power. Kind of like how we let our friends off easy or turn a blind eye. I know you're not adverse to that, Crystal. What about that time when we caught Kit hacking the newbies accounts? Now he's a mod? Don't get all "Oh, we need to serve. We must serve. We're not better than anyone else." on me. Of course we're better--we're mods. <.<

Stal, as much as I love ya, I think that bit is getting out of hand. I agree we're not just babysitting drones, which is why I think we shouldn't give out custom titles anymore, but I wouldn't go so far as to call us better than anyone else. Maybe just a bit... I'm not sure. Honed in? Powerful?

Granted, you guys do put on a good show of 'no favourtism.' I was a bit surprised reading some of the old (Tracy-deleted) threads and seeing how some people got off easily and others were punished, simply because of relationships. Then again, what do people expect? For us to just sit back and treat everyone the same, when everyone ISN'T the same?

Speaking of fun, I don't see why you're so opposed to granting random title requests anyway, Stally. It's the perfect opportunity to say what you really think in a witty way, then laugh at the person for thinking it's meant in a nice way. =3

Exactly. Crystal is manipulating the facts to make Stal look like the villain. And I think the sad thing is, in reality, Crystal thinks very similar to Stal. She's just so adamant on rebutting everything he says that she convinces herself she thinks otherwise.

Okay guys, let's try to remain professional here. My personal stand on custom titles... as far as I'm concerned, if they provide us with the title they want, with all the coding and like, and I mean decent coding, not 'in this-or-that-color and moving plz' then clicking those buttons ain't that much of a big deal. And s'not like we'd be in a big hurry editing their profiles. They can pile up for a week or two.

But. Random custom titles >< Really, am I the only one who's starting to get sick of them? It's all 'I want a new random title please' and then they wander off and expect a shiny new funny random title on their profile the next morning. I could, of course, go and change all custom titles into I LIKE PIE, but who wants to bet that then they'll start complaining? Coming up with a funny random title ain't easy, people. Especially if you already have spam and trolls and moving boards and monitoring to deal with.

And on a linguistic note, Inquiries and Enquiries are both correct. It's yet another one of those British-vs-American spelling issues.
