bwhaha.. maybe just have that chet is red.. and if you ever do want to describe him.. or draw him.. put together a bunch of neopet's main things.. like you could describe a scaley skeith tail attached to the squishy goodness that is a chia tummy.. bwhahahaa.. as you can tell.. hwk has made me insane

Why not make Chet any pet that doesn't exist? (for instance, there is no such thing as desert grundo or striped elephante) Or we could use pets like that as another hint that Chet has visited a particular piece of work....  I prefer the edible tar pizza. Chewy! |

Mentioning Chet in passing is a good way to get him into the stories. Megz has her little plug, here are a few others: --- "Where is Flibbit?" "Oh, she was just talking to Chet Flash down the hall over there..." --- "Did you see the news on NTV last night? That Chet Flash will do ANYTHING for a headline!" "That's for sure, what a crazy person!" --- "I heard that Widget went to the Neolodge yesterday. She heard that Chet Flash was signing autographs in the lobby." --- As she left the Chocolate Factory, she bumped into Chet Flash, who was going in to find an Orange Chocolate Grundo. In each case, the dialog could be inserted without affecting the story, and no clue is given as to WHAT Chet Flash is, including gender (although a girl named Chet would be a bit strange, but you can NEVER tell  ) |

Hmmm. does that mean that chet's footprint should always be a different colour? because if people do pick up on it in the comics, they'll only see a red pawprint, making them think (s)he's red

T-shirts with the "Chet Flash Wuz Here" logo, a poster on a wall, sign on a store... all in the background and not really part of the story at all. Does anyone read the "Nancy" comic strips? Watch Aunt Fritzi's T-shirts sometimes.... They usually have an advertisement to some singer or band.. |

I like the whole "Chet Flash" idea, heh! ;D
Well, here's my idea - some characters communicating to Chet in some way (or a mentioning of it) but not giving away his/her voice. For example...
"Where's my Airax?" "Oh, I think he's writing fan letters to Chet Flash again."
"Huh, yeh, okay Chet." That was all that he heard of his brother on the phone before his doglefox began barking wildly.

Ooohh...I wish I had seen this topic earlier.
hmm...I think the paw print should change colours...that way if it's pink in one comic and blue in another...people will first think Chet Flash is female...but then they wont be sure! AHAHAHAHAHA....*ahem*
when should we start doing this? can I put the logo in one of my comics? pleeeease? ;D
I think I'll mention Chet in my series too...heehee....
and yeah...the paw does look like it would belong to a Kougra...ah-well....maybe we could tweak the paw print a bit? like give it claws sometimes...?

Wouldn't claws make it more kougra-like? Personally, I saw it as a lupe paw, but then that's my natural bias. I think since many Neopets have paws, people can imagine it to be just about any species they want... |
