Actually, I noticed, but I read through this thread a few days ago... Anyone's allowed to mention Chet Flash, right? I'm working on a story that I think I might even finish (  ); if I do, could I mention him? (I'm thinking it was said earlier that anyone could take part in the conspiracy, but I'm not sure.) Yep, i think anyone can as long as they dont give too much away. |

ANYONE from this forum can mention Chet Flash ANYWHERE in their NT work AS LONG AS they don't decribe him, or say anything about him. Just little hints like: - I ate the ice cream, dreamily looking out the window. I saw the birds, the clouds, my brother playing outside, Chet Flash walking down the street, nice owners buying toys for their pets... And just then, inspiration struck. - "So what did you buy today?" "Oh, lots of good stuff! And, look, I found this Chet Flash poster at bargain price!" - We walked by the lobby and noticed Kyle's cousin. "Sheesh, that freak is nuts! Look at him, he's doing that Chet Flash impersonation thingy again..." - "What's for breakfast today?" The Faerie Usul asked, floating in the air above the kitchen counter. "Your favourite, my dear, Chet Flash style pankackes with butter and tigersquash jam." You get the picture. Short references to his name, or even Chet Flash products will do fine, just don't get into details. For comics, things work a little diferently. - "Chet Flash was here" writen in a wall - "Chet Flash brand products - I "little heart" Chet Flash poster in girl's room (with no picture, just the words) - Outside, in the background, a mail box with Chet Flash written on it. I hope that cleared everything up! Now go and be part of this Chet Flash conspiracy!  |

Give it time. Mentioning Chet in several different ways from several different sources will have an effect. People may not notice it right off, but after awhile people will start think "Just who IS this person?" and even a few may THINK they "know". Patience, patience.  But I do think we actualy need to start putting him in comics |
