Well, since you admit that you're being an idiot, could you please refrain from doing so now? And I'm siding with pro-fox huting because Oily made some good points. Yes you're right. It is a good thing that a load of Toffs go out for fun and get a load of hounds to rip the hell out of a fox. They rarely actually shoot foxes before they set the hounds on them because that is less fun for them. Fox hunting is a sport, a hobby and they talk out their arse when they say it's a way to control the countryside. Just shoot the foxes if they need to be killed, don't put them through hell because some toffs find it a bit of fun.

So is he a horrible person that needs to be shot himself? Considering he risked himself by going after a wounded wild pig on the ground so that it wouldn't die slowly from bleeding to death, I'd say you have no right to judge hunters as cruel and horrible people. I've seen countless hunters in New England that hunt to control the deer population. Danny never shot for antlers, rather for the weak and sick ones. And he never ever shot a female. Lots of hunters are that way. Of course, it might just be best to let them starve to death in the winter from overpopulation, be poisoned by people who don't want them invading the urban/suburb areas, etc. Slow lingering death is so much preferable than a quick bullet cause it's natural, right? Granted, I have an American perspective, but after living in an area where hunting is needed to control population, I can see where the fox hunters are coming from. Now, perhaps you should walk a mile in their shoes before judging, hmm? And I don't know what toffs means, but if it's derogatory, don't use it.

We are talking about setting other animals on animals. The hounds have been trained to rip the foxes up and that results in a slow painful death.

And I don't know what toffs means, but if it's derogatory, don't use it. Tofffs are kinda like the stereotypical posh English person, who wears the entire gettup and says 'Jolly Ho, Old Chap.'

But Oily said that foxes are shot before the dogs are set on them. What's so bad about that? I mean - they're dead already. You can buy rabbit furs for cats to play with and such, how is this so different?

I can't think of anything. Wait a minute. I don't see how seeing foxes getting torn alive is fun - a lot of people don't. So why are fox hunters all of a sudden a seperate portion of society that DO enjoy that sort of fun? Is there proof? How do you know fox hunters enjoy that? You ever been on a fox hunt? Do you know someone that fox hunts?

Only a few people on the hunt are posh folks, hardly any. Just normal people.

This is what one woman said for BBC news. 'I don't think they should be able to stop us, I enjoy fox hunting and it is a great activity to do with the kids.' Okay they may not have been the exact words but I sort of get the vibe that she finds it fun.

Aak, you can't judge everyone based on what one person thinks.

Aak, you can't judge everyone based on what one person thinks. Basically every single protesters has said that they want to carry on hunting because they enjoy it. Some make up crap they do it to help the countryside but most people can tell they are talking out their arse.

You know what the media wants you to believe. I don't know if most people say it's fun and I'm not going to be certain but you're just following the media. And where were all these protestors you heard about from? The country, or the city?

I trust the BBC very much, I'm not talking about some tabloid rag or anything. Obviously they were from the country, they are the ones that want to kill foxs for fun.
