I have had a few requests and some questions about the NTWF and how people should conduct themselves here.
Here are some rules that apply all across the Forum.
1. Mind the language. While we do not have censoring as strict as Neopets, be aware that we have a LOT of young people here. I don't think that you want people to get the inpression that your main vocabulary consists of four-letter words.
2. Respect each other. If in a debate, debate the ISSUES, don't attack the person. Some people will argue both sides of an issue to spur throught, not incur anger. If there is a problem with another member, report it to a Mod or Admin.
3. If you see something that isn't right, use the SOS board. That's what it's there for. If you have a question about something, leave a message on the Ask a Mod board, or PM myself or another staff member. We will try to answer it.
4. If a Mod or Admin asks you to stop doing something, then follow their advice. If you disagree, you can ask myself, or leave it on the Ask a Mod board. If a member is repeatedly asked to stop behavior that is not right, and they ignore it, they may be banned.
5. The NTWF covers a wide range of activities. Not only do we have many areas to discuss Neopets and The Neopian Times, but we also have areas to role play, enjoy games, give writing and art lessons, and so forth. Try and fit your contributions into the appropriate area. If you think there is an area that might be popular, please suggest it. Many of the boards were created at the member's request.
6. If you need to have your title changed, like getting more NT trophies or the like, leave a message here: ntwriters.proboards7.com/index.cgi?board=lobby&action=display&n=1&thread=1054200076. I will take care of it when I see it.
7. The NTWF is here for your enjoyment. It is owned by EVERYONE here. I and the other Staff are merely caretakers who have volunteered to take our time to try and keep the NTWF a friendly, happy, and somewhat orderly place. But we do NOT run it. Without YOU, all of you, the NTWF would be a ghost town. And each one of you are equally important, regardless of if you have 500 trophies, or have never been published.
