It appears that someone in the NTWF has gotten the Netsky Virus. I am getting email with virus attachments with return addresses of several Forum members. What the virus does is hijack your Outlook Express address book and send copies to everyone in your address book, spoofing addresses in your book. So far, I have gotten email from TooKule, li_barky_husky, and another email addy I don't recognize. I suggest everyone who has these email addies in your address book, download and run a virus scanner. AVG has a very good free virus scanner at www.grisoft.com/us/us_dwnl_free.php

By the way Pat, a couple months ago I got one from you that had an attached document and the subject was "Only Love?" Was that part of this maybe? I tried opening it and it said something about a virus (I scanned my computer afterwards.)

I have both you and Tookule in my addressbook, but I also have the AVG program, so I should already be safe, right? I haven't sent or received stuff from either of you in ages to my Outlook Express e-mail. I give everyone my Hotmail address instead.

The way Netsky works is that is sends out email to everyone in the address book and forging email addresses found in the address book. So if you got one from me, it would have to be that the pseron sending it you had both yours and my email addresses on hand.
I don't use Outlook Express. I never have and it isn't configured. I also use Etrust Antivirus that does a great job of keeping the uglies out of my system.
I put out the information, and if I get any more, I will add the email addresses I get them from here. I think if someone sees enough of them, expecially the non-neo people, they might find out who is the infected person. Note I didn't put the domain name, just the username. That way the Spam spiders don't harvest.
No, Cheshire, it wasn't you. I got one from ME the other day, too. And I know I didn't send a virus to myself.

The next names, which I don't recognize, are tan_vickie and beckyw0 at hotmail addresses. These names are not in the Forum member's list.
