Don't you have a bunch waiting to be published? Trophy Troubles: 3x published, about 4-6 comics on the waiting list, majority done by Will. ;D ROFL, Rider! That's a VERY good idea for Whack-a-Staff Member!

Ee, I don't agree with the new rule. Like everyone else is saying, it depends on quality, not quantity.
Feli shouldn't look at the username when reading something. If it's good, it should be put in.
If she were to accept every n00b piece sent to her just because the authors were not published before, the NT would be filled with submissions like:
TEH NEOTEP BY: TEH N00B
ONG THERE WAS DIS NOEPET AND IT WUZ COOOOOOL IT LIKED TO WALK THE END!!!
I know Feli has no say in this, so I don't blame her. ;D

While I don't like this rule either, I don't think we need to be jumping to the conclusion that a bunch of "n00bs" are going to start getting in. I'm sure Felicia is still going to do her best to pick pieces that at least show some effort, despite the fact that she unfortunately has to deal with a quota system of sorts now.

AHh, I'm sorry to hear it, however I agree with Tdyans that we can't assume that we are the only literate people in Neopia. You know, before you guys there were other writers, and after you will be other writes. ^_~
And, I'm sure, if it came down to a regular and an awful entry, Felicia would make a good choice. She's not doing it to be spiteful, and I trust that she will understand what is good content. Come on guys, she's just doing her job, and not everyone in Neopia chat-speaks.
You were new once, and it's okay to make room for new people too. Who knows, perhaps someone which you think of as a n00b writer might soon be one of your best friends on the forum.
I was once a n00b writer, Stone was, Tdyans was. We ALL were new at one point. The Time sisn't just ours so...yeah. ^_^;

omg Stone isn't in this week?!?!? Stop the presses, it's a sign of the apocalypse!!! We're all gonna die, abandon ship!!!! He can't NOT have a RC in the Times, he's supposed to have one in EVERY issue, even if it means he has to kill his social life, even if it means Feli has to ignore other great comics sent to her!! HOW DO THIS BE?!??!?!? *faints*

imagine if Garfield was turned into a weekly comic bnecuase the newspapers wanted to make room for newer comics. Reallyconfused is the garfield of the neopian times. not to mention the other great long running series. ...while trying to think up regular comics older than the pet patrol I reached a frightning result. the pet patrol is the 2nd oldest running regular series in the times (its not every week, but its still preety regular) maybe 3rd, but I'm not sure when room for two started First off, don't EVER compair Garfield to Really Confused again. (<- 73h g4rf13ld h473r) Also, it seems like a lot of you are suffering from two-tone perception disorder (ask Llewellyn, or me if he's not around). I disagree with this new ruling, but I'm not accusing Feli or saying all non-regular writers are n00bs.

Too many rules to follow... My NT career is but a sprouting bud on the tree, that which I share with countless others.
Sometimes, a bud, despite its youth, must lay its life down, to enable other buds to flourish.
Translation: After a final farewell, I will be leaving the NT. There is no point in writing my own perspective of Neopia, when there is so much, perhaps too much, constricting my creative thoughts.
Yet, if the bonds are lifted, then I shall continue. But my optimism is beginning to wane. Maybe this is a sign that I need to grow up, or simply move on.

Awww, that sucks! I thougt you were a great writer! Thank you for that. But I am twenty years old now. Yeah, that's right. I'm a year older than Stone. Which makes me the oldest male in the forum. Hanging here is awkward for me too, since I'm older than alot of you guys, save for a few. But I enjoy being here, just because it warms my heart to read the things that you guys have to say. To see all the random silliness, (insanity isnt the word), and ribbing each other. I feel there will always be room in my twisted life to visit this place. But regarding the NT... I am uncertain. Rest assured guys, when I leave, I will do so in the most noble manner possible.

If you have a lot restricting your creativity and you can't even write the way you'd like to, it's hard to keep going. It's sad, since you were such a good writer with lots of promise, but if you need to do this, it's your decision. Good luck with wherever your writing takes you.

I thought your stories were really good and interesting ^^ (Try the storytelling contest? It is hard but I don't think it has that many rules)

[glow=red,2,300]That was beautiful, Wanderer. We'll miss your writing. The NT is losing an awfully lovely flower. And Moosey... we were just using RC to prove a point. [/glow]

Gaah! I'm really starting to fear for the safety of Operation Neopia being finished. Ever. All in all the series could earn me about fifty trophies or more! And, I was thinking about doing an Operation Neopia 2, with a new group of neopets. But, it looks like I can't.
But, this is what I say. Soon, the 'n00b' writers may become 'regs' then die out. Then, new 'n00bs' will become 'regs', then die out. So, if it works that way, you'll get in for a time, then when you've gotten in 'too many times' you have to stop getting in. What? How can you 'get in too many times'? How can you justify a regular's status? I thought the NT was to be a place for writing, not to get trophies. We're obviously doing it for the enjoyment of telling a story, so how can we 'get in too many times'? Sure, I have NOTHING against new writers, but when it causes the other writers to not be published, that's what ticks me off.
That's all I guess.
