The chain is broken. The never ending reighn of RC has come to a gap. Snowflake wasn't kidding about the publishing common authors less often thing huh?

Aww...I so dearly love Really Confused. =( I think it's nice that Snowflake wants to give new authors and artists a chance, but Really Confused is practically an NT staple.
Oh well, maybe next week...

And I was looking foward to his comic for some laughs.... the comics were in short supply of the funny if you know what I mean. Don't get me wrong though... there were some rather funny ones, but not many...

Guys, I know we all really love RC, but it was it absolutely necessary to create this thread? We could have just discussed about it on the Review thread.

And now my own personal nightmare begins. I honestly don't know what to say to all the people who are writing to me asking where "Really Confused" is this week. I will continue to send one in every week, and-- as always-- it is Felicia's decision whether or not to publish it.

I know this is a bit off the topic but anyone noticed that not many of the 'regulars' got in this week? Especially in the comic and article section, most of the authors were new. Not that is completely a bad thing.

Not that is completely a bad thing. Maybe Feli REALLY wanted to give the new writers a chance to shine. Many of us have had our times, now we have to share the spotlight with dozens of newer authors. Stone, you can just say that your comic's just being held over to make way for newer comic writers. But reassure them that you'll always appear in the NT, no matter what.

I agree that it's a good idea to let some newer comic artists/authors in the Times ... but laying off Really Confused? I scanned down the comics thinking "I wonder what the Really Confused gang's up to this we- ... hold the phone!" I checked the Article, Short Story, New Series and Continued Series to see if Really Confused had been misplaced. ... Yes, I am that addicted. I was thinking "Uh-oh ... Stone's called it quits! Aargh! Into the bomb shelter!" Well, I didn't go that far, but you get my point ...

Aww... No RC? Well, it was Feli's decision, I suppose.
*thinks* If this keeps on, the regulars may not always have stuff in... I guess that means my four-week-straight record will be gone by next week.
Then again, the new people deserve a chance. They always do. It would be really mean to keep someone's good submission away just because you have to publish a regular... But these are real hard decisions, and I'm glad I'm not the Editor.
No offense to you all, you guys are real great! But as always, there will be new authors coming.
Change is inevitable.

[glow=red,2,300]What can I say? Feli meant what she said and said what she meant.
At least Stoney had an article in this week.[/glow]

Yeah, I put something like that in my user look-up. Did I word it okay? I don't want it to sound rude or whiny or anything like that-- just... you know, trying to stem the "Where the heck is Really Confused" Neomail. And Rider... if I had a choice... I would have preferred my comic to make it into the NT instead of that article (which was held for several weeks, by the way). Most people seem to miss my comic when it's not in-- and not my articles or stories.

[glow=red,2,300]Trust me, Stoney. I know what it's like when something that you really want in gets rejected/held over/eaten by the submission form twice.
(Sorry if I'm being a pain, I'm just nervous and frustrated I was so dang cocky, so confident that this would be the week. Why? 'cause of a stupid 8 Ball.)[/glow]
