I had a few ideas for art challenges - here they are. -Draw a group picture of all twelve characters from "Shock Tactics". It doesn't have to be colored unless you really want it to be, but that's not exactly in my power, is it? AND/OR -Draw a picture that forms in your mind when you hear the song at this location - home.swbell.net/gatten/200METERS.WAV Big file, so it takes a while to load. For extra credit (in the form of bags of cookies), put a Neopian twist on the picture. I have another one, but I have to get it prepared first... Have at it!

That's an interesting song...er...I guess I'll draw that. Say, what's it called, anyway?

That's correct, the song is 200 Meters from Command and Conquer: Red Alert 2.

I think of a spy sneaking through the Space Station, hacking into some sort of terminal. This is the first time I've ever tried writing to music

I think of diving through the ocean on the secret lab map and arriving at the lab. But that's just me, and I'm weird.

Am I the only one who was slightly reminded of Matt the Wocky by that song?

Mmmm... video game music. What a instersing way for inspiration. *grins* Nude Neopian Descending a Staircase I wrote a short story about the early days of Hyperspace travel based on the album "The Unexplained" by Ataraxia. The story was entitled "The Problem with Hyperspace", and was about the first attempt to do so. I wrote it back in late 1970's, and the tracks actually outlines each segment of the story, right to the last fluttering notes, when the intrepid people managed to break back out of Hyperspace only to fall into their own sun... I have a STRANGE imagination.

DISCLAIMER: I will not allow any nude things in this art challenge. Thank you. So video game music isn't a legitimate way for inspiration? Why is it suddenly so "interesting" to the masses? Since you enjoyed the music challenge, I have another music file for you to analyze - home.swbell.net/gatten/tension.WAV This one is entitled Tension from the same game as before. I also have the Depot level from Goldeneye and dataDyne Research from Perfect Dark, but they're not on my site yet.

It makes me think of a team of scientists equipping a giant battle robot for a collosal fight. With hammer poundings and scene switchings on the heavy-hit notes.
