WAIT GUYS GUYS GUYS KYAA! *cue fangirl squee here* I WANT THAT PIC FOR MY STORY/IES I should really read the story itself instead of fangirling over the pic... ...the author has a No-Rohane guide. I should look into that, even if my inner fangirl is waiting with a Wand of Reality to kill me. Or at least, knock me back into reality. EDIT: Is it so sad that I know exactly where this pic comes from? ^_~ Double post of obnoxiousness... CONGRATULATIONS!!! YOU HAVE BEATEN NEOQUEST! You may now start a new game on the Evil! difficulty level! (Go to the Options menu to do so.) Good luck! You receive a Bronze NeoQuest Trophy! Whoot. Congratulations! Are you up for Evil? It has Mastermind in it! Not that I fangirl him or anything...but I made him hit himself.I do that too, although even the foreign language words are kind of distracting sometimes. I have a small collection of anime/videogame songs in different languages, but not many because I don't really watch anime (but I have a load of FMA music--Brothers in Russian is really nice). When I'm writing videogame fanfiction I'll listen to music from the game to get in the mood. Brothers! =D I love that song to bits! Then again, I love anything FMA to bits... XD Although once, while writing fanfiction for one anime series, I was inspired by a song from another series. XDDDD That was weird. That'll be neat. :3 I haven't been keeping up with your stories for so long--I should go back and read your newer ones. ^^;;; I have begun to 'ship in the latest installment *shot*Nut, I want to see more of your stuff in the NT. =3 CONGRATULATIONS STONEMAN3X!!! YOU HAVE BEATEN NEOQUEST II MADNESS!!! You may now submit your soul to the Neopian Times! (Go to the submission form to do so.) Good luck! You have received a Fangirl's Quill Pen of Insanity! You can use it to sign autographs OR to fight off the attacking fangirls!XDDDDDDDD If Stone were to wander in here right now, what would he say? The Fangirl's Quill Pen of Insanity sounds like a weapon I would use. XD When I'm being the *real* final boss of NQII, that is. >=D

I should look into that, even if my inner fangirl is waiting with a Wand of Reality to kill me. Or at least, knock me back into reality. EDIT: Is it so sad that I know exactly where this pic comes from? ^_~ That's a pretty spiffy pic. ^_^ How can you play NQII without Rohane, when you're forced to have him in your party? o_0 Unless you let him die after you get Mipsy and never revive him... Brothers! =D I love that song to bits! Then again, I love anything FMA to bits... XD I caught up with the entire manga last year and became attached to the characters. :3 I liked the manga better than the anime, though. I never really liked watching shows. ^^;;; I have begun to 'ship in the latest installment *shot*The NT rules on romance just couldn't hold you back forever. XD Let me guess, Rohane/Talinia? XDD Nut, I want to see more of your stuff in the NT. =3 Aww, thanks. ^_^ I have a comic held over and am working on a series for issue 400 (I'm crossing my fingers that it'll get in), and I submitted a silly article last week, but I'm just waiting for the rejection lletter on that one. XDDDDDDDD If Stone were to wander in here right now, what would he say? The Fangirl's Quill Pen of Insanity sounds like a weapon I would use. XD When I'm being the *real* final boss of NQII, that is. >=D That's why the only way to get one is to defeat you. XD But of course a true Neopian Times writer can never be stopped! I entered the Lost Caves at Level 30 and finished Act II of NQII. Now I'm at Level 35 and I just picked up Velm. Whoot, now I don't have to worry about healing potions anymore! The Lost Desert is great for leveling up. I'm skipping Celestial Hammer for Velm as I have in the past two games. I can't remember the choices I made for his skills before, but I think I gave him Group Shielding and was satisfied with how it worked.

Whee, Cloudbeast~ *saw the pic on the STC thread as well* So awesome. That's a pretty spiffy pic. ^_^ How can you play NQII without Rohane, when you're forced to have him in your party? o_0 Unless you let him die after you get Mipsy and never revive him... "Forced", heh. XD Then again, I've always preferred mages... Anyhow, I think that's the idea. Or you skip every turn he gets, laaaaaaawl. I caught up with the entire manga last year and became attached to the characters. :3 I liked the manga better than the anime, though. I never really liked watching shows. I read the manga too. It's just that I threw myself into the fandom so I've watched the anime and the movie, am up-to-date with the manga and follow the new anime. Yes, there is. =3 It follows the manga more closely than the first. The NT rules on romance just couldn't hold you back forever. XD Let me guess, Rohane/Talinia? XDD Just an implied hint, Nut. XD And another implied pairing, and a more obvious but still somehow implied pairing. I shot three Beekadoodles with one stone. =3 Aww, thanks. ^_^ I have a comic held over and am working on a series for issue 400 (I'm crossing my fingers that it'll get in), and I submitted a silly article last week, but I'm just waiting for the rejection lletter on that one. Good luck! =D I'll just edit a short story for issue 400 before submitting it. I haven't been in the NT for...about five issues now. That's why the only way to get one is to defeat you. XD But of course a true Neopian Times writer can never be stopped! XDDDDDDD Of course! I entered the Lost Caves at Level 30 and finished Act II of NQII. Now I'm at Level 35 and I just picked up Velm. I can't remember the choices I made for his skills before, but I think I gave him Group Shielding and was satisfied with how it worked. Congrats! =D Keep going; you're more than halfway through now! I used CH for my first game EVAR just to give him an offensive spell, but realized that it's better leaving him to do just about all the defense for the team. XD I hope you don't forget Group Healing (or Single Healing, if that's how you roll). XDDDDDD I don't think ANYONE would dare pick up Velm without investing in healing.

Whee, Cloudbeast~ *saw the pic on the STC thread as well* So awesome. Thanks. ^_^ Yeah, whenever I finish a picture, even a quick one like this, I get the urge to post it all over the place. I put it on DA as well. And since I submitted it to the Art Gallery, I could also post it on the AG thread here. XD I read the manga too. It's just that I threw myself into the fandom so I've watched the anime and the movie, am up-to-date with the manga and follow the new anime. Yes, there is. =3 It follows the manga more closely than the first. I'm not part of the fandom community, but I was on an FMA kick last year and watched the whole anime series and the movie; I just preferred the manga. I've watched the first episode of the new series because I saw you guys talking about it while lurking around the Anime Addicts Association by chance one day (usually I stay off that thread because I've never seen most of the stuff that's talked about XD; . Jean Armstrong was my favorite part of that episode. XD Just an implied hint, Nut. XD And another implied pairing, and a more obvious but still somehow implied pairing. I shot three Beekadoodles with one stone. =3 XD I'll have to see this. I'll be expecting to read about their weddings in the tabloids any day now. Good luck! =D I'll just edit a short story for issue 400 before submitting it. I haven't been in the NT for...about five issues now. Thanks! I'm sort of nervous about it because the story is largely about the Neopian Times community. I'm not mentioning any place by name, but I don't know how talking about places based on offsite areas is going to go over. And I haven't been in the NT for exactly 56 issues. XDDD Congrats! Nope, I always max out Group Healing and Innate Casting Haste first thing. x3 Panacea keeps my potion stock nice and healthy. =D I never used Celestial Hammer; the low damage and stunning just didn't seem worth sinking 15 skill points into it.

Nope, I always max out Group Healing and Innate Casting Haste first thing. x3 Panacea keeps my potion stock nice and healthy. =D I never used Celestial Hammer; the low damage and stunning just didn't seem worth sinking 15 skill points into it. We think alike in terms of Velm's skills at least, Nutster. ^^ You start hoarding potions by now. I still believe they make castles and all sorts of structures out of the empty potion bottles, mwaha. Let's see...you have THREE party members for your damage, and Rohane and Talinia take care of your stunning. So yeah.

I look forward to seeing it in the gallery. ^^ Thanks, Kat. :3 It'll be my 20th AG trophy if it gets in. All of my creative contest trophies are currently 1 trophy away from a multiple of five (AG-19, PG-4, SC-9). XD XD Aw, just jump in. The Armstrongs are a crazy bunch, but my favorite character is Ed. =D I find the Armstrongs hilarious. XD And I enjoy it whenever Izumi shows up in the manga. But yeah, Ed and his shortness complex are one of the best parts. Not on your life, that hormonal stage of my adolescent life is over! XD Talinia: But I already planned the wedding guest list! D: Rohane: Who were you going to invite? Talinia: I figured Mipsy could be the flower girl. Rohane: I can see her already, tossing out Obliterate spells left and right as she skips down the aisle. Talinia: *glare* At least that would keep unwanted monsters from wandering in. I am worried about King Terask crashing the party, though. No matter how many times we defeat him, he always comes back with more HP than before. Rohane: Don't worry, I hear there's a new final boss of NQII now, and she won't interfere. Soon all will know of our marriage. Real Final Boss of NQII: Not on your life! Talinia: Oh no! She's got the Fangirl's Quill Pen of Insanity! How do we fight this? Rohane: And I never submitted anything to the Neopian Times in my life! NOOOOOO! Don't be, as long as you don't say anything about it being offsite, it should be fine. Besides, you can always say we're at the Catacombs. That makes me feel a lot better about it. :3 Hrm, I probably should put it at the Catacombs. Is that a mirage? *squints* Are those potion bottles? Mipsy: Wait! Don't touch it! *CRASH* Talinia: Maybe we should've told him what we were building all night. Rohane: *under pile of bottles* OWWWWCH! Couldn't you have left some healing potion in these things?!

Thanks, Kat. :3 It'll be my 20th AG trophy if it gets in. All of my creative contest trophies are currently 1 trophy away from a multiple of five (AG-19, PG-4, SC-9). XD Wow, that's interesting. XD PG is 3 away, SC is 4 away, and NT is 1 away. That last one annoys me; it's been a long time since my NT count ended in a 0! XD Good luck again! I find the Armstrongs hilarious. XD And I enjoy it whenever Izumi shows up in the manga. But yeah, Ed and his shortness complex are one of the best parts. WHO ARE YOU CALLING SMALL?! WHO ARE YOU CALLING SO SMALL YOU CAN CRUSH HIM LIKE AN ANT?! DON'T CALL ME SMALL! I'MMA BREAK DOWN YOUR FEET AND STICK 'EM ON YOUR HEAD! Al: I'm not the Fullmetal Alchemist, he is. Random Innocent Bystanders: That shrimp is the Fullmetal Alchemist? Ed: *TWITCH* We've seen four of the Armstrongs animated. The Real Final Boss of NQII grins, twirls her quill and says, "Feel the wrath of my 1337 fangirling skillz...oh, and did you know that TMGE letters and NT trophies make great throwing weapons? By the way, Terask won't bother you anymore, I made sure of that. I gave him intensive grammar lessons." She leaps at you and attacks glomps! That makes me feel a lot better about it. :3 Hrm, I probably should put it at the Catacombs. I always imagined the Neopian Times office as having trees around it, so I put it above ground. I don't know how many parts this issue 400 one is going to have, but I'm guessing that considering the competition, I should try not to make it insanely long. The parts are all pretty short so far, though. WHO ARE YOU CALLING SMALL?! WHO ARE YOU CALLING SO SMALL YOU CAN CRUSH HIM LIKE AN ANT?! DON'T CALL ME SMALL! XDDDDD Sorry, Kat, but I don't seem to be able to drop the subject: The fight begins! Rohane throws Old Fanfiction at the Real Final Boss of NQII! The spirit of her hormonal adolescent past lashes out at the Real Final Boss of NQII! Old Fanfiction did 100 damage to the Real Final Boss of NQII! Maybe it could have trees OVER it. =D Yeah... I always thought of it as being in a sunny courtyard with White Weewoos flying around all over the place. The trees are primarily there to house the Weewoos. I wrote it like that in my Droplet Day story way back when, so maybe I'll stick with that, although now it bugs me because it's pretty much canon for the NT office to be in the Catacombs. Rohane: Mipsy, what is that giant building in the middle of the desert? Is that a mirage? *squints* Are those potion bottles? Mipsy: Wait! Believe me, this reminds me of the time me and Gav hijacked this thread and it almost became our own chat thread. We came dangerously close to being extremely off-topic - had it not been for me screaming "DIE, SNOW LUPES, DIE!" every few posts. Pages and pages of random conversations...no wonder we're the top two posters here! XD My Internet is fine. I'm just Miss Kat Lazybones. Keep going, Speck! ^_^ You're so close to the gold trophy. I'm more than halfway through NQII Insane, but haven't even finished NQ Normal. The Palace of Ancient Kings is delaying me at the moment because I keep getting into random encounters. On the other hand, it keeps the party's level up. They'll hit 36 before they face The Revenant. Dur, and you're on Normal instead of Hunting? Oh, there are places that don't care what mode you are, they'll spring monsters on you every change you get. *cough*FAERIELAND*cough* What was Mr. Insane thinking, not giving us a Sneaking option on NQII? XD And you got held over, congratulations! I forgot all about the Fyora issue. I feel like I should write something in honor of the Faerie Queen, to whom I remain loyal (I've never had a Fyora-themed story in the Times, though I've had multiple Illusen and Jhudora stories--actually, mostly Jhudora stories for some reason; I like Illusen far better than her). But I don't think I have time now. I suppose it could get into a different issue. Thanks! ^^ You can always opt for a poem. There'll be a big special anyway on Fyora Day, surely, and I haven't worked on anything yet. XD That'd be the beauty of it. >D Yeah, that whole episode was comic relief, so I shouldn't begrudge Catherine it. It was also the only episode Ed and Al didn't appear in. XD *geek* But yeah, it's still one of my favorite episodes. So random. And it made me really appreciate Roy's gang (besides Riza; I appreciate her very much already, especially since she's a good match for Roy - *SHOT, SHOT and SHOT*). XDDDDD Rohane: I found these stories online. There's loads of them! Hey, Talinia, it says here that you and I once-- 19-year-old-Kat: GET BACK HERE WITH THOSE! Rohane: But you said to get away! 16-year-old Kat: She was talking to me! What do you think of the stories? Will you and Talinia really-- Talinia: *carefully placing potion bottle atop enormous bottle tower when she overhears the conversation* *bottle wobbles* *CRASH* Talinia: What are you talking about?! Who wrote this? 16-year-old Kat: =D It was-- 19-year-old Kat: NOBODY! BEGONE EVIL CREATURE! *waves Wand of Reality* Now HAND OVER THOSE STORIES! Rohane: Wait, wait, I'm getting to the good part... Talinia: *reading over Rohane's shoulder* What?! LET ME SEE THAT! 19-year-old Kat: If both of you don't hand those over right now, I'm going to tell the Neopian Times what nickname Rohane's father gave him when he was a little boy! Rohane: WHAT?! Fine, have the stories! Talinia: But I want to know what your nickname w-- Rohane: *shoves fanfiction at Kat* JUST TAKE THEM AND GO! Oh gosh, the craziest part of this is that my 16-year-old and present selves are in character! XDDDDDDDD Velm: Are you getting everything? Mipsy: *clutches video camera* I sure am! Forget kicking monster butt, we'll make enough gold to swim in once we broadcast this over Neovision! Velm: SWEET! Keep that camera rollin'! Mipsy: Plus, this'll teach the "Real Final Boss" to keep her quill to herself. Velm: Even sweeter! High-five! Mipsy: Later, I can't let go of this camera! I love seeing Rohane getting all worked up like that. Just don't tell him I said that. Yeah... I can't imagine the NT office without loads of White Weewoos around it. Maybe the office will be above ground and the authors will hang out below ground. Like a secret organization of sorts. >=D Funfun. It's where we plan April Fool's jokes and big fat collaborations. XDDDDD I've seen numerous comics about NQII, yes, but never a series with a connected storyline or anything. Perhaps I just don't read the comics enough. Same here. But at least they're funny. XD Then again, they might not make as much sense to those who don't play the game...

I'm working my way up to the Archmagus of Roo, but I'm only on level 32. At least I'm about halfway through my game of Insane. Wow, keep going, Speck! ...I miss my InSaNe game. -_- Stupid transfer blunder. At least June is getting closer. Ten more days, Kat! And then there'll be the Fyora issue to look forward to. I remember when you two were doing that. XD I didn't play Neoquest at the time, so I just watched with detached fascination as the thread swelled and stayed away from the mushrooming Gav and Kat Chat. ...Holy cow, I just checked to see how many posts you each have on this thread. Over 2,000?! I've made 47 posts in the entire time I've been playing NQII Normal, Evil, and Insane. XD I don't think anyone's going to dethrone the king and queen of Neoquest chatting anytime soon. Dur, and you're on Normal instead of Hunting? Oh, there are places that don't care what mode you are, they'll spring monsters on you every change you get. *cough*FAERIELAND*cough* What was Mr. Insane thinking, not giving us a Sneaking option on NQII? XD That would be handy, yes, especially in the later stages of Faerieland. But I prefer walking around in Faerieland to the Lost Desert, because at least in Faerieland you can tell where you are. It gets to the point where I almost want to be attacked by mutated critters to prove that I haven't been standing still in these endless sand-colored tiles. Thanks! ^^ You can always opt for a poem. There'll be a big special anyway on Fyora Day, surely, and I haven't worked on anything yet. XD Hrm, a Fyora poem could be fun to write. I could try my hand at elegant prose for once. I suspect I may end up writing a Fyora short story anyway and submit it at approximately 4 AM tonight, if past experience is any indicator. Dang, I was going to try avoiding writing about Neopets site chraracters and do more with my own pets, but now I'm getting these urges to do stuff about Fyora and Neoquest (your series are making me want to write backstory for one of the other characters--like Velm ). Haha, yeah, Riza is cool. "You're useless in the rain." I like the comedy parts of FMA best. XDDDDDD Rohane: Where did you two get those expensive new suits of armor? We're not entering Faerieland for a while yet. Velm: We, ah, sold a product. Talinia: What? No! Not my empty potion bottles! Mipsy: No, of course not. You and I haven't finished building a scale model of Ramtor's castle yet, since Rohane ruined our first attempt. Random Pet: OMG look! It's ROHANE! Did you see him on Neovision last night? And guess who's with him! I bet it's true that he and Talinia really-- Rohane: WHAT?! *buried in attacking fans* OWWWWCH! Someone hand me a healing potion! Talinia: Sorry, all the bottles are empty. Mipsy: Hey, people! Where are OUR fans? Show some appreciation for the ones who brought that video to you! Velm: And I thought this new shiny armor would make people pay more attention to me, but noooo... No healing spell for THAT Blumaroo today! Like a secret organization of sorts. >=D Funfun. It's where we plan April Fool's jokes and big fat collaborations. Exactly. That's what I'll do, then. I'm going to go back and change the earlier references so that our organization is in the Catacombs. XDDDDD I've seen numerous comics about NQII, yes, but never a series with a connected storyline or anything. Perhaps I just don't read the comics enough. Same here. But at least they're funny. XD Then again, they might not make as much sense to those who don't play the game... Yeah, they are funny, although I didn't understand them till I started playing. I wonder if there could be a comic with gags and a story that could be accessible even to non-NQ players.

Ten more days, Kat! And then there'll be the Fyora issue to look forward to. W00T. Then I can actually spam this thread with cries of, "Die, Xantan, DIEEEEEEEE!" I remember when you two were doing that. Then you started playing NQ and dropping in for hints and updating your current status. What IS your current InSaNe status, anyway? Done with Mr. Undead Kougra Who Can't Fight Without His Skeletal Minions? Nah, others would pop in too - Fj0rd, Sia, Sirius, Blub, Kitty, Cara, Scheff, Fortune...to name a few. Pity some of them are gone now or have largely retired. *le sigh* Told you we were young and crazy and obsessed at that time. Except me - I'm still young, crazy and obsessed. ^_^ Well, it helps my NT count. That would be handy, yes, especially in the later stages of Faerieland. But I prefer walking around in Faerieland to the Lost Desert, because at least in Faerieland you can tell where you are. It gets to the point where I almost want to be attacked by mutated critters to prove that I haven't been standing still in these endless sand-colored tiles. True, true. It's like, pink mazes over sand, sand, and SAND. I think I'll go with the mazes. Besides, doesn't anyone like, perish from heatstroke? Hrm, a Fyora poem could be fun to write. =D Go for it! ...I should get back to writing stories about my own pets too, you know. XDDDDDD But nooooooo, I started with a back story for Rohane, graduated to a series of series about him and his big brother, and it doesn't stop there. Help, I've gone InSaNe! Oh, wait, I already have. And you just reminded me that I really haven't given the other characters much thought. *face palm* Reuben, I blame you. Haha, yeah, Riza is cool. "You're useless in the rain." I like the comedy parts of FMA best. Oh yeah! =D That was awesome. And yet, Roy can be useful in the rain. It just has some very...ah, explosive consequences. *cracks up* Glue...someone get me the glue! XDDDDDDDDD Hmmm...I'm reminded of that time I dropped into the NQ Neoboards and someone thought Talinia was a guy, and another someone thought Velm was a girl (probably 'cause he sometimes looks like he's wearing a skirt). Velm: It's not a skirt, it's a ROBE! Mipsy: It doesn't matter, it swishes around whenever you strike a cool battle pose anyway. Velm: At least I can move better than SOME PEOPLE. *anime-style evil eye glint* Rohane: *anime-style throbbing forehead vein* Hey! ... Someone should like, make comics out of these. XD I love the idea of making scale models of everything with potion bottles. Mipsy: That's like, the ugliest castle I've ever seen. Velm: ...it's you, Mipsy. Exactly. That's what I'll do, then. I'm going to go back and change the earlier references so that our organization is in the Catacombs. Yay. ^_^ Put white Weewoo plushies and action figures and NT paraphernalia in it too! Yeah, they are funny, although I didn't understand them till I started playing. I wonder if there could be a comic with gags and a story that could be accessible even to non-NQ players. True, true. Although some I've read make sense even if you've never played the game or what not.
