To make fun of this or just naively, a friend of mine sent me that Neogreeting with the Mutant Chia eating a Kadoatie. Hmph.
And people or Neopets dying from ice-skating is no joking matter. A few years ago, some kids in my town drowned from skating on thin ice.

That is SO mean! They're baby neopets! Normal, small, baby neopets! What did they ever do that was wrong? If they were 2, theres a reason. Everyone calls 2 year olds "The Terrible Twos". I happen to have a sister who is 2...

The Bad Friends Neogreeting was just WRONG! Who are the people who think this stuff up?!
ADDITION: Although, I do think it was kind of imprudent for those babies to skate on ice with a KEEP OFF ME sign in it. It was kind of sad, though. Mean neopets team.

They could've extended the animation a few seconds longer to show Snowy spitting the baby Kau back out of the pond. (shades of Empire Strikes Back, perhaps..)
Maybe the staff thought the eating of Petpets was getting beaten into the ground as of late? just venturing a guess....
Also, remember that this is the same staff that has "given" everyone a Staff/Rod of Supernova in Advent Calendar only to have the Kleptomaniacal Knicker Devil swipe it. Two years in a row, I might add.

*pats Lapin on the back* It's okay, it's just a stupid little animation. Meowth, you are MEAN.  heh heh, it's "just a stupid little animation" what'd you expect me to say? "Noooo!!! sweet hardrive of Ziggy!!! that is sooo wrong!! how could they do that to a poor defenseless BABY Kau?" pah. It's only a bunch of graphics...If I saw a real Cow being eaten by a giant ice worm then I'd be shouting "that's just sick, you sick horrible people" the Turmac greeting kind of disturbs me though...ah-well. |

I totally agree. I noticed many of the advent calendar pictures are filled with hate or violence, such as today when two angry buzzes nock heads and fall down with the tree. Isn't this supposed to be the season of happy and good? I think they're messing something up.
