Back when 286 machines were new, a 20MB hard drive was PREMIUM. So was VGA video and a 3.5" 1.44MB Floppy. Mice were optional and usually unneeded. Modems were the only way to get online (BBS, no Internet, as such), and 2400baud was screaming. We're talking mid-1980's. My first computer only had a 10MB Hard Disk. I know - in the days before keyboards programmers had to punch in the binary by hand. The Atari doesn't have a hard drive and we have to use it's musty floppy drives when we use it.

Not QUITE that bad. I had to program in Fortran on punchcards, though. And a little baudot code typing on ticker tape. I learned computers back in the old days when all there was were mainframes and card punches. Ah, but I digress. Old people do that, sometimes...

What can I do that noboby else can? Let me see... I can remember my dreams extraordinarily well. I remember at least one every morning, sometimes up to four, and I remember little details. At least no one else I know can remember their dreams so often and so clearly. And I'm known for having pretty weird dreams, so every day at school I'm asked "So, what did you dream last night?" It's nice, though. Also, I'm very proud of my handwriting. It's round, pretty and absolutely personal. I remember when I had ugly handwriting and wanted to change it, I covered one intire page with Fs just to see which style I liked better. I'm proud to say my Fs are beautiful. What else... Well, I can listen to music, read, watch tv and eat at the same time... Then again, I bet lots of people are able to, as well.

I have the ability to forget everything. Anyway...erm...there isn't that much, I guess. Like streaming_blue, I often hear music that isn't there. It plays inside my head, but since there's someone else who does, you know.... I can sing, but lots of people can...I can play flute pretty well, but lots of people can...I can play piano okay, but lots of people can...I can play organ, which is slightly more unique, but I know lots of people that can...I can write, but all of you can and lots of others...I can act, but lots of people can...I can write music, but lots of people can.... In short, I'm more unique in terms of who I am and what I do than what I can do that no one else can.

I just remembered something only I in the whole world can do! ;D I can turn anything in my room on at first! Okay, so you need some background information to understand how exactly that is an archievement. You see, in my bedroom I have a tv, a VCR, a playstation, a stereo (with cd player, tape player and radio in one piece), and an old stereo with three pieces - one for the overall stereo, one for the radio and another for the cd player. All this and only one triple plug. So only three things can be on at a time. All the plugs are behind the tv, and it's a real mess, when you have to find the correct plug to turn what you want on. And I can do it! *feels proud* I know those plugs like the palm of my hand, now! Nobody else can go there wanting to turn the tv on and actually turn it on, not the stereo. So this isn't something especially big, not a real talent, but I'd like to see you go there and try!

*head spins* Man that's confusing! So tehre's a lot of stuff in my room that needs to be plugged in to work. And I can only have three things plugged in at a time, so when I want to listen to music in the old stereo(it's better than the new one), I'll plug three things on and unplug the others. But if I want to watch tv afterwards, I'll have to unplug one of the stereo pieces, find the tv plug in the middle of the plugs mess behind the tv and plug it in. Most of the time the other people trying to turn something on have to try numerous plugs until they can find teh right one but I can find teh correct one at first. Get it now? Also something even more confusing: The tv is connected to the vcr, so I'll be able to watch my movies and record stuff, but at times when I want the stereo, playstation and tv on, the video can't be on, too. But trhe tv won't work without the video being on, because they are connected. So I have to disconnect them (requires switching two cables), by emerging in the plugs mess once more! I think I could major on "my bedroom electronics"... If no one understood the above, all you need to know is I finally found something only I can do. I'm sorry I can't express myself better.

The computer isn't in my bedroom, and sometimes I just feel like laying on my bed, staring at the ceiling listening to "30 minut", or dancinga way from my parent's eyes... Basically, I like listening to music in my room, though I listen to music on the computer all the time, too.

Oh. Ok... don't yoou have a personal CD player though? Yeah, but I would have to plug it in too because my Dad only buys like four batteries every 3 months (he always forgets, and I forget, too... ), and so I refrain from using them at home. Also, I like loud music, and that old stereo of mine... It can play REALLY loud. And I mean REALLY loud.
