I was so totally stoked when I first got a comic in. The art wasn't all that great, but I had tried sending in comics before an article, so I was glad when i got one in. There goes my happy little bubble. You see, our computer mouse is messed. Navigating is OK but it makes drawing next to impossible. We're going through a rough patch *cough* financially, so I doubt getting it fixed anytime soon is an option. I have a few comics saved on my computer but after that, I'm done. I had lots of fun drawing them...but I guess it was for the best, it's stories and article for me then ;D

That's too bad.... I like your comic. It's good. Ah, well...maybe something will come up and you'll have to get it fixed...well...erm...whatever. Sorry.

Maybe you can fix it yourself--what, exactly, is wrong? Does the cursor not move the way it's supposed to? Does it click at odd times, or refuse to be held (like when you're trying to highlight)?

Oh, I know what it's like to be on a financial low. Our family, due to my dad's erratic payment, is up and down. For a couple of years we're rich, we don't worry about spending (y'know, not careless in the least, but not like, "HOW MUCH IS THAT PENUTBUTTER?"). Then, after no money comes in for a long time, we're asking how much the Penutbutter costs, or buying hardly any penutbutter at all. Then, in a few years, we're on the up again. LOL-- I think it's nice to see both worlds (though I'd like to live comfortably and stable, it's nice on the up-cycle). Okay, that went way off topic...
Anyway, what I WAS going to say, is that you can get a usable mouse for about 15-20 bucks. If you (personally) save up a bit, it shouldn't take TOO long to get a mouse.

Low quality. We got one a while ago but it sucked. And it's horrible. You see, when I'm trying to highlight something, it doesn't do it probably. When I'm trying to draw something as simple as a circle, it breaks off and only appears in spaces. A line doesn't curve. Actually, navigating is a pain, but I'm getting used to it.

Around the little rolly ball, there should be a circle that you can turn and take out. If you remove that and take out the little rolly ball, you should see rollers around the sides of the hole. Just brush the dirt and stuff off. Does that help?

Despite the fact we spent $2000 dollars to fix the car and it didn't help a bit (greedy mechanic is practically living off of us) my dad says he might go looking for a mouse. Maybe even one of those red glowy laser ones! [glow=red,2,300]Ooooooh...uber-spiffy red glowyness...[/glow]

Just be thankful it isn't broken. I broke my mouse when I was ticked at it, I slammed it down on the table and it broke. I like the little ball thingy... fwee.
Thanks to that, I got my uber-spiffy wireless mouse!

It came with our new computer which we FINALLY got after saving up for like three years. It's black, I love it...and the mouse has [glow=red,2,300]A RED LAZER! WHEEE![/glow]But if you really want to get a new mouse, you just need to save up on your own. If you already have a few comics, then that should be enough to last a few weeks...so, just keep saving! (I need to save $1,350 for a trip to Florida this summer and I'm only half way...how do you think I feel?) ;D

My parents' computer has a red laser wireless one, but I have a plain black one with the wire thing. It works, though. ;D
