Wheeee! I just got back from Future Shop! Maybe we aren't as bad off as I thought...my dad bought me a new mouse! Sweetness! I had an Electornics Boutique gift card to buy the mouse with, but it turned out they didn't have mice there. So what did we do? Bought three video game magazines!
We got the mouse at Future Shop. Regular 52.99 brought down to 29.99. And yes, it's an [glow=red,2,300]UBER SPIFFY SUPER DUPER GLOWY LAZER TYPE MOUSE![/glow]
Now if you'll excuse me, I have comics to draw and people to blind. Waheeee!

*Looks at her hewlett packard cord mouse with disgust* My mouse just needed cleaning when it was squiffy, the little rollers could hardly move. I was gonna buy a red laser mouse (zoom!) and it had a little scrolly ball and special internet buttons and a holder... but I didnt, Dad says this mouse is perfectly good *grumbles* At least I can draw comicses ^^

The mouse before was ten years old, older than my younger brother. I wasn't too surprised that it was messed. It costed 90 bucks. It was like...cutting edge when we got it. As my dad said 'The Cadillac of the mouse world.' My dad is weird.
And there were some pretty weird mice at Future Shop. For example, a $120 mouse that looked sort of space-aged in a way. It looked like you could never use it comfortably in a million years, yet when I tried it out it fit like a dream. And a roller ball on the top, no moving around. Tres foille.

My grandma has one with the rolly ball....I don't really like it, since it takes a lot of getting used to, and then when I went back to my mouse I had to get used to it again! Argh... Hers was only like $50 or something, though...so maybe the one you saw was better |

The original idea was to serve as a warning to the new mouse that it had better behave, but it has turned out to be quite the conversation piece. People always have to ask why I have a computer mouse hanging from the ceiling...
