I am - it's a topic which occasionally comes up in most guilds, and it was only a matter of time before it came here. I think I have used all of these riddles, except maybe #2, in at least one guild, so some people probably know the answers, in which case don't tell ^.^
1) The beggining of eternity The end of time and space The beggining of every end And the end of every place. (What the hell is this?)
2) It's in the middle of a desert. There's a naked person who is dead.. Fourty feet away there are a pile of clothes which could fit several people. How did the person die, and what happened? (hint : there is nothing dirty or salacious in the answer)
3) There is a metal construction in the middle of the woods. It has several hundred people, all of them dead, and they all died at the same tiem (not starvation or thirst). What happened?
4) Why did I put two dead-people-how-did-they-die riddles in a row?

3) I'm guessing the metal thingy collapsed?

1) The beggining of eternity The end of time and space The beggining of every end And the end of every place. (What the hell is this?) It's e, I know this one from Harry Potter. ^_~ 2) It's in the middle of a desert. There's a naked person who is dead.. Fourty feet away there are a pile of clothes which could fit several people. How did the person die, and what happened? (hint : there is nothing dirty or salacious in the answer) I"m going to go with Gentlewind's theory on this one! 3) There is a metal construction in the middle of the woods. It has several hundred people, all of them dead, and they all died at the same tiem (not starvation or thirst). What happened? They were eaten by a radioactive BEAR!...no? ;_; 4) Why did I put two dead-people-how-did-they-die riddles in a row? Because your have a dead person fetish, maybe? ;

2) The person was wearing heavy clothes and decided to take them off before dying of excessive heat Sorry, but that in incorrect However, you're on the right track. The desert has very little to do with it, it could as easily take place in the Great Plains or somewhere else.

3) I'm guessing the metal thingy collapsed? I can't say that's wrong, but I'd like a little more detail. Why did the metal thingy collapse?

Was it because the people were on top/or bottom of it and it collapsed because the metal thing couldn't hold their weight any longer?

I've heard #2 before. It involves a hot air balloon doesn't it?
I have a couple more...
5) A woman lives on the 10th floor of an apartment building. In the morning, she takes the elevator from the 11th floor to ground level. However, she has late work hours and often comes back home very late at night. On her way up, she takes the elevator to the 8th floor and walks up the remaining three floors. She does not do this for exercise. Give a plausible explanation for this.
6) (This one is a bit yucky). After returning from a long and harrowing trip, a man travels a thousand miles to a place that serves roasted seagull. He orders a plate, and takes a bite. Then, he pulls out a revolver and shoots himself in the head(yes, he dies). Why?

Oooh! And is the "metal construction" a plane?

Oooh! And is the "metal construction" a plane? Correct. I think the rest of the answer is obvious. 5) I don't know the answer, but I find it interesting that if the lady lives on the 10th floor, why does she was THREE flights of stairs from the 8TH floor. Wouldn't that get her to the 11th floor? 6) No clue.

Maybe the buttons are lower on the 11th floor...

Too short to reach the button? By juppie, I think you've got it! As for your other riddle, oddhatter, I'd say he was...an animal rights activist and he wanted to kill himself at the place so that he would give it a bad name and it would be shut down by the health board and stop serving seagulls! ^^
