Unfortunately, I had to change it. She was originally supposed to get a can of Minwax Woodstain, but Josh said he can't use real life (non-neopets) items. So i had to make it a plain can. The original idea was she got a can of minwax (plushie) for christmas. eh? eh? *cricket sounds* OOoooo, tough crowd. ^_^ I like that idea! It's such a pity it couldn't be used. ;_; The comic "Dark Neopia" made me think of Invader Zim, for SOME reason. . . Yes, the guy who draws SQUEE! was also the head producer of Invader Zim(Jhonen Vasquez).

Rebuttals stink. People are arguing via the Neopian Times. Most of them stink though to be honest. Some are worth reading, but I couldn't imagine writing one. Maybe. Sometimes they are less arguing. For instance, Uv Cours We Can Speek was more of a response than a rebuttal. it included interviews and stuff, not just stoneman ranting about why chatspeak rock. (BTW stoneman, great article there) Thanks, Kule! I can't believe I'm still getting Neomail about that article. The funny thing is, that the hate mail was almost non-existent. The ones who were against Chat Speak cheered and the ones who were FOR Chat Speak totally missed the sarcasm and applauded my "rebuttal". It was a frighteningly, bizarrely popular article. And for the record, I HATE rebuttals, which is why I wrote it, if that makes any sense...

It's funny how your writing and epk's writing are so similar! Both extremely hilarious ;D And yes, I do understand...sort of.

;DWaaah! Why is Neopia Closed? By stoneman3x—A very good, useful, hurmorous, and thorough article! Thanks! I had a bad Christmas... my aunt who was 5 months pregnant lost her baby on Christmas Eve... and nothing seemed particularly funny to me when I wrote the article. So I actually figured no one would like it because it wasn't up to my "usual" standards... anyway, I figured if I couldn't be hysterically funny, I could at least be helpful...

I'm sorry for the baby, your aunt, you and everyone else, losing someone, even if they weren't even born is painful... But even then you managed to be funny! Stoneman, you are someone to look up to. As for the illiterate issue: Hey, I wasn't THAT offended! But I guess one of my biggest faults is beeing too easily offended... Then again, I can forget fast and forgive even faster, so you ignore me at your will everytime I complain about something you said or done...

Sorry I didn't get it. And same with hippiesoul. I've never read anything Jonathan Swift wrote. And I have the lower hand on authors - I haven't ever seen any book by him where I live - and I go to bookstores a lot where I live (Japan). Jonathan Swift wrote "Gulliver's Travels", which is a story most of us have seen in movies, if we haven't *cough cough* read the book. But this essay of his, is kinda of like the stuff in every issue of the Neopian Times, I think. Sometimes you think, "This writer rocks!" and other times you think, "What was this moron thinking of?" Oh, well such is life. Not everyone likes everything from ANY author, Jonathan Swift included.

Stoneman, you are someone to look up to. Whoo hoo! I'm officially off your poopy list! No... honestly... I really thank you for the kind words. It's been hard on the family this Christmas... two deaths, two hospitalizations and general anxiety-- but the year is fresh and new and filled with promise-- so thanks for the boost. I have a good feeling about 2003... after all... THREE IS MY LUCKY NUMBER!
