Is that Hamtaro?Yup! Donna got me a Hamtaro doll for Christmas, and I noticed how its arms weren't long enough to reach its mouth*, which got me to thinking... if everybody had really short arms, and no one could feed themselves, then, regardless of how much money you had, you would still be reliant on someone else for your daily subsistance. So, this notion of a society where everyone had to help everyone else in order to survive, kinda seemed to me like some new socialist ideal to me. So that's my theory, that Hamtaro is like the harbinger of some new collectivist paradigm... Much props to Tom for hooking me up w/ the image! *Okay, I realize that, on the show, Hamtaro are able to feed themselves. However, if you look at the actual dolls, it would be physiologically impossible for a Hamtaro doll to feed itself. My sister has a poster where it's arms are like that as well... I'm going to now live in fear of that poster. ;

There is only one Hamtaro. It's a name, not a species. Hamtaro is a hamster, and the little creatures on the show are hamsters.Erm, I knew that... *really, I did* I guess the species are referred to as Ham-Hams, right? I suppose that, since the show is called Hamtaro, I have a tendency to refer to them all as Hamtaro... Due to the fact that I don't have cable, I have to admit that I've never actually seen the show. Just about everything that I know about them comes from visiting the Hamtaro website. I really wanted to watch it while I was home for the holidays, but it comes on at like 9:30 in the morning, and there was no way I was gonna get up that early to watch anything!

I was wondering... how does the Stock Market report work?
I'm not really at liberty to discuss the specifics of how the Stock Market fluctuates. However, I think I'm allowed to say that:
1.) I have nothing to do with whether it goes up or down
2.) It's not based on buying/selling (at least, not entirely; I suppose it could be a factor, but I couldn't say for sure). It used to be done that way, but entire guilds of people would buy a single stock, then sell at the same time, so it was changed.
3.) I don't have any inside info on the stocks. It's all opinions, based on my own personal observations (although, I guess if y'all think that I've got some sort of inside scoop, I must be doing okay...)
ummm... exactly what do you mainly spend your time doing?
Well, I really shouldn't get into the details of that. A few of the contests, text for some of the games, and some other things here and there... sorry to be so evasive.

Cool, thanks! Right now, I don't want to share the article, as I'm still writing it, but I'd love to just ask you some questions. Of course, they'd be technical, and it wouldn't be much like an interview---just simply some quotes on the News Brief and such. *runs to go find questions to ask for the article* By the way, if for any reason you need to contact me (this goes for Pickles and anyone else), you can just IM me (AOL/AIM) at sk8board118. Salutations!

Oh and besides feeding Hamtaro pickles all day... ummm... exactly what do you mainly spend your time doing? I can only see poor little hamsters running around unable to feed themselves pickles now. Thanks for that image Stone!

This particular group of Hamsters in the show call themselves the "Ham-ham Gang". So that's where that word fits in. *is the local Hamtaro expert*

I used to have a cat that ate pickles. Of course, I'm sure that cat would have eaten jelly llamas too, if given half a chance...

Mmm... I hope they're orange jelly llamas. Orange is the best flavour! And those are bad images *twitch*
