Oh, NOW I see what you're saying. I've been thinking about the next Background Voices of Neopia and I think I have a funny idea....Number 6. Hehe, make Number 6 get injured while you're at it. *pokes Adam with a stick*

I wonder if any of the current Neopets Team members (besides Felicia) even bother to read the Times. I've wondered about that myself.

Personally, I think it would be a welcome change to bring in a few new talents. It also helps the so-called 'regulars' have a run for their money and really start pumping out their best stuff instead of the same old same old that they may have been able to get by on with Josh. Not that I mean to insult anybody or anything, but some articles/short stories seemed to be getting sort of repetitive...

Being a regular doesn't give you any privledges, you still have to work.

Hehe, make Number 6 get injured while you're at it. *pokes Adam with a stick* Actually Adam isn't Number 6, hes's Number 2. Number 6 is the insane Kyrii who's a Cellblock competitor.

I'm a regular and didn't get published either. But perhaps Felicia just wants to get everyone in. Scriptfox, oddhatter and al, eh? Hmmmm... Well I won't say too much, don't want to start up another argument like in the Live Chat... I don't mean too brag, but, I'm a regular too! Did I take too long of a break, or what? Anyway, this is getting really interesting. I might have to try different writing styles to get in, but I'm pretty sure I can do it.

Excuse me, but Josh didn't just let the same old, same old. Being a regular doesn't give you any privledges, you still have to work. I don't think it was any sort of favoritism. Josh just had a distinct sense of humor, and some people hit it right on the nose. Felicia probably has a totally different sense of humor. I guess we can count on seeing many new people this week. I agree though, some material can get a bit repetitive. I've gotten in many times, and my stuff isn't..erm, the best. So I won't judge other people's work.

Just because the editor is changing doesn't mean the writers have to. And if I didn't get in not because of talent but because I'm a regular, that's not fair. I shouldn't be rejected because I've gotten in a lot. Now that's an if, IF it's a talent thing or IF Felicia is even judging people by how many times they got in. IF. Keyword.

epk, if you change your style you are no longer epk. Hehe. I was more considering my semi-amusing Short Stories and Series. I really see a lot of unused potential in them as compared to my articles, which use up most of my writing skills. I may even start a Short Story Series like Al, but nowhere as good and consistent. If Felicia does favor less-likely published authors, I may adopt a pen-name. There is a chance the reason I didn't get in was because I had some trouble submitting. She did read it at about 10:45 AM Monday, but I resubmitted it to the Felicia@neopets.com address like she requested elsewhere.

So I won't judge other people's work. I understand Josh's humor, but about once in every five stories I could get it, and I needed help with it. One of my most horrendous pieces, "SOS: Save Our Sloth," Josh told me was his favorite of mine. But, really, scriptfox came up with the title when I was first musing over the idea, and Jamez helped with his character's part in the story. For those who didn't know what happened at the live chat, someone caused a ruckus and shidi linked their "IP" address to me, and when I insisted that it wasn't me I was ridiculed, but a friend of mine from school said that it might not even be the IP address of my computer, but my internet provider's server code. If that's right, anyone in my area would've had the same code.
