Dude, Felicia's a newb to editing the Times. She's probably a nervous wreck, just trying to do her best, so don't whine that it's not out yet. Maybe she's trying a new uploading system, maybe Neopets has server problems, whatever. But once Felicia's finished, you know Donna's going to be like, "Yes, I'm working on the editorial...I'll have it done by Wednesday, I promise...." or something. So chill.

<Deep in Thought> Well, before all of these posts about what's been uploaded, I started thinking that The Times had been discontinued...But now it doesn't look that way. However, the worst case scenario is that Felicia wants to give everyone a chance to get in, and will not publish authors that have been published many times, even if their work is better than other people's owrk.</Deep in Thought>

I'm a regular and didn't get published either. But perhaps Felicia just wants to get everyone in. Scriptfox, oddhatter and al, eh? Hmmmm... Well I won't say too much, don't want to start up another argument like in the Live Chat...

Well I won't say too much, don't want to start up another argument like in the Live Chat... You're right; that arguement never did get settled. I talked to a friend of mine who goes to my school, and he said that the "IP address" wasn't the IP address of my computer, but probably an identification code of the server my internet provider has that connects me to the internet. If that's the case, then anyone else within my general area could've logged on and had the same source code.

I know I'm published this week...but remember, this is her first time. She probably isn't aware of all the "regulars." Josh most likely didn't hand her a note of who she HAS to publish. I have a feeling we will be seeing many new people in the weeks to come.

Josh chose who to publish and so does Felicia. It's not about regulars but whether it's NT quality. I just find it funny that al, oddhatter, scriptfox nor I (I sent in four things) could come up with some NT quality stuff.

I have a feeling we will be seeing many new people in the weeks to come. Right. And that's probably good. Not to say anything bad about Josh, but he might have recognized the regulars as good submitters if he was desperate for more Times pieces. New editor, clean slate.

The NT is swamped with submitters. If he wanted to choose a new submitter, he could. A regular, still could.

I know Josh didn't HAVE to post them, but he realled loved thier work. (as do I) Felicia is a new editor, new tastes, so we might see a change in the NT. A change for the better, yes. Even if most of the familiar people don't get in this week, chances are next week will be thier revival. Just give her time, she will grow familiar to our work as well!

Oh, NOW I see what you're saying. I've been thinking about the next Background Voices of Neopia and I think I have a funny idea....Number 6.

I wonder if any of the current Neopets Team members (besides Felicia) even bother to read the Times.

Bleh. This discussion doesn't apply to me, as I've never been in the Times and didn't send anything in this week...
What was the chat argument about? I can't use the live chat yet, so I missed it.

I wonder if any of the current Neopets Team members (besides Felicia) even bother to read the Times. Heh, probably not. From some of the things Josh apparently says, the Neopets place isn't a very happy place to work. I bet they don't give a care about the Times.
