Maybe a Hotel or Bed and Breakfast for all the outsider NPCs to have a place to be?

Or both? It is a town, after all, not a hamlet. =P

Or both? It is a town, after all, not a hamlet. =P Depends if you want them all to be staying in the same place or not, I guess. There's pros and cons. If they're all at the same place, makes interaction easier, especially for stuff like being startled in the middle of the night. But more places means more variety, and maybe not everyone would want to be in the same place. More places to be means more possibilities of seeing different things, and getting a better view of the overall plot.

Maybe a Hotel or Bed and Breakfast for all the outsider NPCs to have a place to be? Oooh, nice! That gives possibilities for someone's character to be the manager of the hotel/B&B. (why did I immediately think of Fawlty Towers)

I kind of imagined the pub as doubling as an inn or a B&B. xD Or at least, for my character.

Will there be a library? Or some sort of park? I would add more, but I have no other ideas at the moment. There's a park in the dead center of the town, and probably some more green patches that have yet to be fleshed out (such as the college campus). Maybe a Hotel or Bed and Breakfast for all the outsider NPCs to have a place to be? There's one big hotel, but there could totally be smaller establishments like B&Bs in addition to that. Especially because there will be a lot of people coming into the town for the fair so the hotel might just be booked solid. On the one hand, all the NPCs being at one hotel would provide a convenient place for a bunch of characters to gather and interact. On the other, different people staying in different places would provide more opportunities for worldbuilding. (I want to call the hotel "Wright-Inn," but I'm not sure if Hunty will let me. *Brick'd*)

My character idea mostly just requires a police station and a place that is fairly wooded, though the later could be satisfied by a not-quite-so-wide-open park, or an arrow pointing west with the label "Ye Olde Woods Thataway" lol.

Wow, that is one snazzy and intensely detailed map so far! Me personally, I'd be pretty pleased with at least one established inn of any kind, really, so I think I'm good. x3 (If there's one called "Wright Inn," however, would there need to be another rivaling establishment called "Wright Off"?)There sure as heck will be a library; a town without a library is just a clump of houses with delusions of grandeur. *quietly adds this to her collection of quotations*

*pokes head in*
That is one awesome looking map so far. I'm excited and nervous just looking at it!
...hmm...character idea. She is a shy bean. Grows stuff in her own home. Sells them at the farmers market. Talks to few. Connects with animals.
Except rabbits. They don't trust her despite the fact she breeds them.
Not to mention there are some days she is absent from the farmers market. Female body trouble, she calls it, and leaves it at that.
(Also every event I'm somewhat stumped on this but I kind of want to develop relations/friendships with other people's characters prior to the event. It's just...it all comes down to asking, doesn't it?)

I'm getting the impression that several people might go for a "secretly a cryptid" kind of vibe, and I like that, and it tempts me to barge into that atmosphere with a materialistic Large Ham of some sort.

Oh, mine's not a cryptid. X3 She's just a Wiccan, so I need a place for her to give praises to the natural world and the powers manifest within it.

Hunty, that map is going to look great. (it would probably help to have a very simple top down map with the general layout if things get too crowded though. x))
as long as there's a commercial area somewhere in the city, my character will be good.

Also very cool, and makes me look forward to the praising of the natural world, and also makes me want to go hammy for some reason! 8D (I wasn't sure who or how many, was just my general impression)

(I want to call the hotel "Wright-Inn," but I'm not sure if Hunty will let me. *Brick'd*) In case y'all had any doubts about who the actual showrunner is xP I've more-or-less sketched out a journalist character (she'll mostly serve as narrative glue, at least up until I get unreasonably attached to her as I tend to do) meaning there needs to be a newspaper, and I've already all but decided that it'll be called the Wrighton Time. This town is kind of ridiculously prone to puns. (I don't even like puns. That doesn't always stop me.) I'm getting the impression that several people might go for a "secretly a cryptid" kind of vibe, and I like that, and it tempts me to barge into that atmosphere with a materialistic Large Ham of some sort. Oh, mine's not a cryptid. X3 She's just a Wiccan, so I need a place for her to give praises to the natural world and the powers manifest within it. I'd pay someone else's good money to see your character stubbornly give praises to the natural world at the college campus park, right next to a bench with some canoodling couple and a group of guitar-playing art students, because that sounds hilarious =D ...in all seriousness, the map only really shows the center of town and there are more suburban bits outside of its limits (because that's just a sea of uniform roofs and we all want me to keep my sanity) so there's still plenty of creative space to decide that there's a bigger woodsy park somewhere out there. I don't want to pin the whole map down too rigidly.
