Not since I was a child. *smiling beneath the mask* Aneirin, thank you. These are things I never thought I would be able to experience... not to mention being able to experience life as your people do. *pauses* Perhaps before we go, you could show me how to alter my appearance in Soulstice? I've... done a little research into how our people lived before our exile, and I have a decent idea of what our ancestors wore on Rannoch. Aneirin: I can, but you'd have to choose from outfits that have already been created. I can make you some clothes, though! Just show me what you want. Very well, I'll find some images for you. Most are recreations, unfortunately, not a lot of records exist of the time prior to the war. But I have done what research I can, mostly because I am simply curious what life was like then.

: A custom body? *takes out notebook* What are the implications? Min: New soldiers wouldn't have identical bodies. A custom body, one that reflects your actual soul-design, is a perk that comes with rising in the ranks. Would you hand me my gun please? : *hands Min her gun and starts writing*

I'm going to have to go out to conduct a few tests, could you stay here and watch over my body?

There are some there, yes. *gestures at his own suit wrappings* It's interesting to see how the ways we decorate our suits today were influenced by the clothing our people wore in the past. We still manage to find ways to express our individuality, despite hiding our faces. ((sorry these have taken so long, I came down with a cold and have been doing much sleeping *dribbles all over the forum*))

I'd love to see those as well. *glances back at Koris, her caps rotating so she can see him* I like your suit, though I wish it showed off your lovely face. Did you design your suit? ((It's okay. I hope you feel better soon!))

Wearing bright colors, I mean. Fairly recently... when the new suit was developed, I requested these colors. I don't really know why. *half-shrug* Perhaps it felt inappropriate to dress brightly when it became likely we were going to war. *he taps on his omni-tool and sends her a picture of himself* This is what the old suit looked like. ((Random aside, I can't remember if I've mentioned this before - but since all of the NPC quarians in Mass Effect use the same recolored model, I headcanon that they actually all have unique suit designs (since it wouldn't make sense for them to make themselves difficult to distinguish from one another) and made up one for Zaal. Here, on the left. Han is on the right, of course, and more or less keeps the canon design because I'm lazy and it's an armored look which suits him pretty well. But I thought Zaal ought to have something slimmer and more civilian-like. I'm not sure whether that picture is intended to be his first or second suit - but I also headcanon that the pink suit and the dark purple suit would be slightly stylistically different and not just a color swap. *thinks way too much about quarian culture and Zaal's personal preferences \o/*))
