It has come to my attention that no one is able to hear me singing The Smile Song. It seems I didn't post the correct link. Try this link instead: The Smile SongEnjoy! --- Also, I think I'm getting used to my own voice. I listened to the song again and my voice didn't sound so bad. It's not a professional quality recording but hey, I'm not a professional.

Kozma was stunned with fear as Tiger burst into the paint shop and raised her gun at him. For a brief moment the kangaroo believed he was about to get shot again but then she lowered the weapon and holstered it. "Hullo, Kozma," she said cheerily. "Don't suppose you've seen my teammates around?"
Kozma, in shock over Tiger's surprise entrance, stood in silence for a few seconds. As she went into aisle 4 to get some red paint he determined that she wasn't going to shoot him.
"She probably didn't know it was me," he figured. "She's a good friend and I don't believe she would want to threaten or harm me."
Feeling relieved that he wasn't about to get assaulted, Kozma decided to follow Tiger into the aisle to see if she was up for a little chat. He didn't exactly know where the rest of her team was but maybe she would still talk to him.
Just then, Terra burst into the store.
"Put your hands up or I'll fire!" she yelled, aiming her gun at both of her competitors. Kozma was once again paralyzed with fear and didn't immediately put up his hands as commanded. As Terra glared at him, he slowly realized that she was not kidding around.
He raised his very shaky arms up. He didn't know if that gun Terra had was a paintball gun or...
Kozma then became very afraid for his life.

Lizica bustled into Amberworks, trailing amber-based paint onto the welcome mat, and mechanically reset the Rube Goldberg pendulum and Ping-Pong balls after she closed the door. She found Icon in the lab, studying three microscopes at once and surrounded by clipboards, paint samples, and a few carefully stoppered vials of diforumite creativium. The clipboards were each covered in tiny, meticulous, handwritten scrawls about the creativium and the mosquitoes (but they were not above doodling little skeeters with funny expressions in the tight margins). "Any luck?" Lizica asked anxiously. "Not yet," Icon answered, looking up from one microscope. "Any luck in your defective faded paint investigation?" "Not yet. I just don't know how we could have made such a tremendous error in the paint-mixing process." Removing a yellow paint-smatterd glove, Lizica thoughtfully crossed the lab to the kitchenette area, where she tapped a drinking bird toy into a small tub of water. The water rippled, which lapped at the edge of the tub, which soaked the edge of a sponge, which became wet and dropped in, which triggered a pulley, which yanked on a jar of hot cocoa mix, which then fell into two mugs, which were slid onto a rotating record player, which stopped at the edge, where the mugs were filled with hot water. (Amberworks had spared no expense.) Icon continued his study of the mosquitoes, Lizica continued to ponder the faded paint, and the contraption continued to fix the cocoa. A sudden clattering, splattering noise made both of them glance up abruptly towards the source: The milk dispenser had been incorrectly reloaded, and instead of serenely adding milk to the two mugs of cocoa, it instead fired the drink ten feet from the kitchenette and into the surplus paint supply--making their paint an unsticky, thin, transparent, mosquito-repellant, faded shade of dusty amber. "...Oh," said Lizica, facepalming and laughing. She fixed the dispenser, set the cocoa aside, and surveyed the damage. "I think we're gonna need more paint stirrers. And probably more of our base paint." "I forget, which shade was the base?" "It was Mesozoic Meringue." "No...no, I think it was Precambrian Crème." "No, we considered Precambrian Crème, but it had a watery consistency." "But Mesozoic Meringue was too bright. And if it wasn't the Crème, it was Primordial Morning Gold or Prosauropodic Saffron or..." "Deinonychus Dandelion? Thesaurus Yellow? Topazoic?" "Daffodactyl!" "Yes! THAT was it! Daffodactyl! We're probably going to need some more of that to make more of our amber-based paint." (The paint names were a collaboration with Icon. ^^)

Icon parked his scooter outside of the paint supplies store; Lizica had made a handy list of all the supplies they needed, and from the looks of it they wouldn't be cheap. The price of paint stirrers, popsicle sticks, and all other elongated flat pieces of wood had skyrocketed across the forum; a small riot had even broken out at the Last One to Post fencemaking and hardware store. Luckily, they had enough shinies to last for a few more days' worth of materials.
"Let's see..." he muttered to himself as he looked at his list. "Looks like Daffodactyl-colored paint and Fleetwood brand paint stirrers are located in aisle fou-oh, woah," he said, looking up at Tiger and Kozma, standing right in front of him. Who would have guessed that aisle four also stocked red paint? And blue paint? And, he thought as Terra stormed down the aisle from the opposite side, probably black paint as well? Is everything located in aisle four? ...Come to think of it, does this place even have three other aisles?
Survivors' instinct told him to cut short the internal monologue, to just grab some paint stirrers and cans and scarper off, to get out before something ridiculous and time-consuming and most likely unnecessarily dramatic went down. This seemed a sensible move; he tried to flatten himself against the wall of paint cans and raised a hand in an awkward wave, a move that clattered into a display.
"Heeeeeey all, ahaha, err, don't mind me," he began as he tried to slink his way across the aisle, "just grabbing a few buckets of paint, haha h'lo Tiger, hope your team's doing well, afternoon Kozma, and might I say that Sapphire is looking particularly lovely today, pleasure to see you Terra good to hear that Batman impression coming along oh hey whoop 'scuse me-" and darted toward the checkout counter with paint and a bag of stirrers under his arms.
No sense in stopping to chat; the way they were holding those paintball guns made him awfully wary. Better to just stay on the safe side and get back to Amberworks, to the world of mosquitoes and amber and solving forum-changing problems.
Oh, right, and painting houses, too. That part was kind of important.

((Note: Lizica, your prehistoric paint names are amazing XD))
Tiger bared her teeth - so, Terra had followed her here, eh? Clearly Tiger needed to practice better surveillance skills. "Make us!" she challenged, not raising her hands and instead keeping a firm grip on her paintball gun as she lifted it to meet Terra's rifle. Yeah, it was two on one, they'd see how well Terra handled...
...handled Kozma putting his hands up and surrendering.
"What're you doing, man!?" Tiger hissed. "It's not like your smock can't take the mess!"
Icon skulked in, edging around the paintball-carrying, er, painters, and the kangaroo-lover who was turning out not to be such a great paintball warrior. If only Tiger could summon her teammates at will!
She gave Icon a nod, satisfied he wasn't hiding a paintball gun anywhere on his person. For now.
"This can end one of two ways, Terra." She thought a moment. "Well, okay, more than two ways. But that's not important - you're asking yourself, did she reload the gun last night? Or did she not? Does red paint come out easily? Why does the store stock only one aisle of paint? ...Well, the question you should be asking is, do you feel lucky? Well, do you, punk?"
