Whenever I go in Vienna, I keep running into Russians and Russian speakers. I have been speaking Russian here more than English. What crazy pararrel world is this?!?

Still not over Starlight Brigade. (and apparently am totally incapable of just playing the song in the background, I always end up flicking back to watch the video when I do, it's so beautiful.)

So I left my indoor plant behind after being unable to find anyone to take care of it, and it was too late to call certain university-people for it. (Though I still did, but they didn't get back to me in time.) So I set up a self-watering system that I knew wouldn't last long because it's just too dry here. But it was time to leave, so I left as much as I could, left and hoped for the best.
I finally returned to my place expecting a near-dead plant...
And I returned to the healthiest looking plant ever with multiple healthy leaves that it didn't have before?? And the soil looks moist? What? How??
(I suspect that someone was actually involved. Could've been that call. Those people would know more about plant care than I do anyway. But I really have no idea. xD
Either that, or I did the real life equivalent of rolling a natural 20.)

So the bill for lunch came out to $13.37, so I got to explain what 1337 speak is to my mom. I told her it's an internet joke. Nothing more to explain there.

So I have a friend. She is gay. She lives with her best friend (a guy). The two of them dated for a while in high school before she came out and he was actually the one who helped her to come out, so naturally their friendship is quite special.
Anyway I only met this guy recently but I actually find him quite attractive, even though that’s something I’d never act on since we don’t share the same faith. He, meanwhile, does not seem to have really moved on from my friend, even though it’s eight years ago and he would never act on it out of respect for the fact that she’s gay. And my friend has quite the soft spot for me except that she would never act on it out of respect for the fact that I’m straight. So it’s all very amicable and there’s no drama whatsoever about it, just three friends enjoying the occasional camping trip together while each being supportive of the other’s different lives.
Where do I enter the competition for neatest love triangle ever?

So, I've more or less memorized my lines for the play...
Except one. And after some practice sessions to try and get it down, I realized, it's because of One. Single. Word.
The word is "known", in the context of having seen someone do something. So I keep trying to say "observed" or "seen." And those aren't riiiiight.
It's not one of those plays where I can improv either. Getting the right word and meter is important.
I'm so close; if not for that, I'd be able to cross "memorize lines" off my list and just leave myself to running through them once a day, practicing emotions for it, and properly bouncing off of stage-mates during rehearsals.
I'll get it right eventually. I do have most of it down. But dang, it's annoying to be so close to completing something, and then no. xD;
(And that's not even getting into that one tongue-twister line I still need to practice. xD )

Cinnabun is back from the vet and doing well. She was fixed, and as I say, Surgery isn't fun, so she's currently recovering from that. She's currently resting, but she did nibble on some celery, which is a good sign.
It was an interesting vet as well. As a rabbit, Cinnabun has to go to an exotic vet, and this one specializes in Birds, they make up about 60% of the patients. I got to meet a sick chicken, and a pet bird came in that was stuck in a glue trap. I even had the option to watch the surgery, but that was a little too much for me to handle, I think.
So yeah, Cinnabun seems to be recovering nicely, and we'll get to go back in 7-10 days for a checkup.

There is too much amazing stuff out there in the world and I mourn eternally that I can never learn about it all, let alone in enough detail as I would like.

Summer started, and I discovered that I've lost my sunglasses. Which is bad because they're actually clip-ons to a spare pair, and I don't really have anything else. So before my trip, I had to go without them and wished I had them.
Well, today, I found them.
They were in my bag, hidden behind a natural fold under a bunch of stuff. A bag that I did take on the trip.
Oops.
At least I have them now.

So on the one hand, there's a new Tamagotchi coming out. On the other hand, it's gonna be $60.
For that price it'd better have 80 hours of content and ongoing DLC because I'll have you know that wHEN I WAS YOUR AGE *flails cane around*

It's hard to plan ahead and figure out my timeline for things. Because it's basically like...
"Hey, we need to know how long it'll take you to do this thing and move on to the next stage of your life so that we know how long you're here! ...You can predict the future down to the finest detail and can keep an absolutely precise pace assuming absolutely nothing throws a wrench into your life that would disrupt any of this, right?"
"Uhh... Can I keep it vague? Y'know, just in case?" "No, except for maybe these few things that will cost you more and might put you over budget."
I present to you: My main problem with Adulting.
