Xandra giggled. Truth be told, she'd never known why her mother had kept insisting on reading that book.
"So you must work at the palace, huh?" she said. "I haven't seen you around, but then again, I haven't really been seeing anyone other than my family..."

"Yes, you're right..." Victor climbed his way down, he noticed the tree branch wasn't as strong as it was before he landed on it. The neopet took a seat next to the lupe. "I don't want to sound...you see I..."
He didn't knew where to start exactly, the eyrie took a deep breath and began talking. "I've came to Altador to find a way, you see...to find a purpose in life, I was wondering if you could...teach me?" Victor asked, pulling some kind of gloves with daggers attached to them from his bag.

"My sister works as a housekeeper of sorts, but I don't work specifically for the royals," Anthy explained stiffly. Suddenly finding herself tired, she rubbed her forehead and leaned against a pillar. "As a scholar and enchantress, I've been granted permission to frequent this area in particular. They shoo me away when I try to peek into other parts of the palace," she added with a shrug.

"Oh, I'm a scholar and enchantress too!" Xandra said excitedly. "I'm - "
Wait. If this Xweetok didn't work at the palace and was not afraid of her, then she didn't know who Xandra was.
"I'm...uh...the Queen of Altador's younger sister..." she said nervously.

"Yes." Anthy narrowed her eyes, then rolled them up to the ceiling. She knew this already: Alyxandra, sister of Kalara. Why was this Xweetok so nervous with this? Now Anthy was wondering if she was out of the loop. Perhaps something had transpired over the past few months that somehow made her identity humiliating. Perhaps she should return to the original topic. "What study is your specialty? For me, it's the fire element and Altadorian poetry. I'm something of a poetry fanatic."

"I just like to read..." Xandra responded. "Ever since I was really little...and...then..."
She could not continue. A tear leaked from one of her eyes; She could not talk about Katriana...especially not, since she didn't want this Xweetok to find out that it had led to the fall of Faerieland (which Xandra now officially blamed Katriana for).
"I...well...know a lot of stuff. Kaly and I were taught by a couple Faeries, an Earth Faerie and a Light Faerie. They also worked for - a Faerie ruler of a small kingdom..."
She had teetered on the verge of saying "Miarra", since she didn't know if this Xweetok knew Queen Miarra had been Katriana's mother or not.
Just then, Saeryennan ran out of the library, chasing Calissa. She accidentally bumped into Xandra.
"Oh, I'm sorry Xandra!" the princess said before running off after her snowbunny. Saeryennan had adapted to calling her aunt simply "Xandra" since she thought of her more as an older sister.
Xandra buried her face in her hands. The other Xweetok had found out.

"Hm. Pata swords! Zarkos says those are extremely rare, and only found in one place on Neopia. Where are you from, anyway?" Hunter got up and began strolling with the Eyrie. Hunter was a few inches taller than Victor, since he was the elder of the two. "I could try and teach you some sword-fighting skills. After all, I did aid Lord Darigan in the defeat of Lord Kass..."

"You are the one?!" Victor asked, he couldn't believe it! He was talking to the legendary knight himself! "It's a...it's a honor, sir! I come from Terror Mountain, Tarla gave the Pata swords to me some months ago."
Hmm, maybe this 'destiny' thing was true, after all. Or maybe pure luck.

Anthy felt a bout of confusion as she stared uncomfortably at a tear-soaked Alyxandra. What was there to cry over? Clearly, she needed to comfort her in some way, since doing otherwise would appear insensitive. Still, she was not familiar with treating sudden bursts into bawling. Her worries turned to smoke, however, when the princess dashed into the room, racing towards her fluttering little petpet and bumping into Xandra along the way.
"Princess Saeryennan, hello," the Xweetok said with an automatic bow, glancing up only to see the Cybunny continuing her frantic run. "All right..." she mumbled, standing up straight again and stretching her back. It then occurred to her how long she had been hunched over in the library. That was not important, though, as she now had to return to the awkward matter of Alyxandra. She put a cocoa-colored paw on the Xweetok's shoulder. "That isn't important, though, so...what were we talking about? Studies?"

"Yeah..." Xandra said, now gazing out of a nearby window. In the distance, she thought she saw two figures. One of them appeared to be a fire, which almost made her gasp when she realized that it must be just a Fire Neopet or Faerie, or a spell, since the white figure was just standing there.
"Excuse me," she said, wiping a tear from her cheek.
She went right up to the window. The figures were a little far away; They appeared to be in the forest that was nearer to the docks of Altador and the palace.
She could see the fire better now. It looked more like...lava. This was a Magma pet, she decided, talking to someone in Meridellian garb.
She was curious. Was this some sort of envoy from Meridell? She'd ask King Altador about it later, right now she had to figure out the best way to explain stuff to this Red Xweetok
(OOC: If you look at the Altador map and see the building near the farm from the Altador Plot, I've decided the palace is there.)

[Why'd you quote yourself, Sae?]
Hunter shrugged. "I don't really see myself as great. I always worry that kass might come back. After all, if someone like Lord Darigan could escape the Three, someone even more powerful, like Kass, could do the same and return." Hunter had lost his father on his first trip into the battlefield as a knight. He watched as Sir Arthur, Meridell's greatest knight, was killed in an ambush by Kass. And Hunter wasn't able to save his father after Kass razed the village he invaded to the ground...

"Oh, yeah...in a world like Neopia we never know what could happen!" Victor sighed, he liked adventure, but the fact that evil could show up anytime made him nervous. Suddenly, he had the feeling they were being watched. "Is that xweetok...Xandra?" he pointed at the window of Altador's Palace.

Hunter looked where Victor was pointing, and laughed. "Yes, that's Alyxandra Altador. She's had a rough life, to be honest. Even though it was wrong, I cannot blame her for what she did after the way the Faeries treated her."

"Alyxandra? Oh, so that's what everyone has been mumbling about...it turns out someone was controling her to destroy Faerieland, huh?" Victor mumbled. "I was exploring Altador from above, they have a really nice training gym at the palace's patium! You think they'd let us in?"
