...the word "betrayal"? (Couldn't fit it all in the subject). I'm trying, but I can't. Here's the context: “So what if I don’t fit in?” I yelled. “That gives you no right to turn me out on the streets! You could at least properly abandon me at the Pound, you know!” I nearly choked trying to keep down the lump of despair rising in my throat. It was Christmastime, for goodness’ sakes. You don’t go abandoning pets at Christmastime. I growled and tried to put on the air that I did not care; it was fine with me because I didn't want an owner who would abandon me, anyway. However, I realized in horror that tears were about to spill smoothly and *insert betrayal adverb here* down my furry, blue cheeks.

Gee, that's a toughie...
The best thing I can think of is "traitorously"...

Let's see...
I did a search, and only found traitorously, as well.
However, I realized in horror that tears were about to spill smoothly down my furry, blue cheeks; betraying my true feelings inside.

Oh, you are quite welcome. I haven't written anything for such a long time, and I am a bit rusty. I am working on my story (very haltingly), and I am getting rather distracted with things here.

I know that feeling. Sometimes I'll get an idea in school but I can't write it down... so I usually forget about it -/-

That happens to me; I get inspiration at the worst times and places. Once I was in the car without any pencil or paper, and sometimes, I'll get an inspiration for a story or poem and think it al out in my head, stupidly not writing it down, and when I try to make it again on paper, it's never any good.

*nods* Sometimes when I'm role playing and I have to get off suddenly I'll play the scene in my head..

I sit in school and get inspiration sometimes and write it down in a notebook or whetever and then get home to find that I left the notebook at school or something. And I always seem to forgot the idae too
