I don't think the Court Dancer actually dressed sleazily; it was more her actions that were a bit suspect. She has long sleeves and a long dress; pretty much all of her is covered up. Actually, you might say similarly for the Fontaine sisters... I don't think their skirts are short at all; it just looks that way because they have short legs, lol!

Check this week's editoral question:
Recently Jhuidah had a makeover and this brought to my attention how the faeries are looking skinnier and more Barbie like with each revamp. I mean, for a children's site that censors the younger users from certain content, why are you holding up this image that beautiful things must be skinny and wearing slinky clothing that isn't exactly covering the most of their bodies?
Although I understand that if you ever got a line of dolls for your merchandising, it would be nice to have the 'Perfect Barbie figure' but still, what do you think this image will do to your users? Many young girls already have this image of to be beautiful you have to be skinny driven into their heads and Jhuidah had been a bit more plump but beautiful in her own way. Now, with this new revamp she's skinnier in this 'Barbie-like image', as if saying that skinny is better than what she was before. - Thefluffiestone
Donna's answer: I agree with you here. It was not an intentional point to make Jhuidah skinny. That is just the way one artist drew her. She was always more fuller figured than some of our faeries and I think it is a good thing. The various Faeries should look different rather than have one set body type/shape/size.

Yeah with those faeries! I can agree why all of them dress the way they do. The only one fairly nice is Fyora in that long dress. But the faeries in NQ2 are even worse!

Anyways, I wonder if Donna's going to initiate some sort of "operation plump" on the Faeries. I guess all we can do is wait and see.

Or we can send some spies in. Good plan, Wolf.

It's only 9:40 a.m. Don't think I'm brainless just yet.

I personally liked Jhuidah's figure better in the old pic, but I think she needed the update. Maybe they can keep the facial features and just change her figure? I still don't see why Illusen has to be so twig-like. Can't they just make her body a normal, non-anorexic body? But I don't really have a problem with it...

What do the NQ2 faeries look like? I've never played it...
I agree that it would be nice to see some faeries with different body shapes; not just plumper faeries, but all different kinds.

Wait...there's no way Illusen can be considered Anorexic. Not in my opinion, anyway. Ah yes, what about those NQ2 faeries? I've not heard of those, either.

I wanna go back to that Illusen blog picture...
Look at hte picture VERY closely in full size. It goes back to the point where if she wears anything downstairs...it's gotta be a thong or a G-String....we'd see it otherwise.
