Apparently, my latest Neopian ER comic has people thinking I ripped off Calvin and Hobbes! If you haven't seen it, check it out. If you are a Calvin and Hobbes fan (aka Megz) see if you could find anything that might make people think we ripped off them. In the meantime, help me think up stuff to send to these people:
1. Why does EVERYONE copy Calvin and Hobbes!!??!!
2. you got your comic fro calvin and hobbes
3. you really shouldn't steal "Calvin and Hobbes" comics.
4. Ok. I know for a fact that either you, or your friend radiopup, totally COPPED OF OF CALVIN AND HOBES!!! I read Calvin and Hobes, and they have basically the same comic strip you did, only you did it with NP's, and you rearanged the lines a little. I am genuinely Annoyed and ticked off that you are not so original. Neomail me back soon if you want to defend yourself, otherwise I'm posting mean stuff about you on every message board possible!!!
5. In your comic you copied off of Calvin and Hobbes! Obviously, you should know what that is. I am overenthusiastic (however its spelled) that I have finally found another being that likes Calvin and Hobbes! YAY!!!
(There's more, but I decided to take it out to spare the guy some humiliation)
Anyway, any type of reply, as long as it's Neopet-friendly will be greatly appreciated.

Megz's Expert Opinion: These claims are infact false. Note that the doctor in calvin and hobbes never did anything like this. And Calvin was the one instigating the trouble.
1.Calvin's ignoratnt 2.There was never a nurse in the strip 3.The doctor had no sense of humor 4.Soggy doesn't read calvin and hobbes, so he doesn't know!
So you know what I'd say to those people... EXACTLY WHAT I SAID ABOVE!

The ones that are reasonable you should tell "I honestly didn't know. They say there are only so many plots in the world. . ." The ones that are unreasonable you should send a fake auto-reply form talking about how you are overrun with fanmail, thank them for reading you comic if that is what it is about, and that they should neomail you at your other account, ____, if they have something more important to say. In the blank, insert the name of a different hatemailer. It gets quite interesting after that. Make sure you keep a copy of your form mail, in case that person neomails you again to test you and you have to do the routine over again without them finding any flaws.

Ignore 'em Soggy. They can go to somewhere very hot. e_e
I had someone yell at me about my comic saying I ripped off Lord of the Rings. I politely informed them that the Ring was made by the evil person to help them, and in my comic the thingy was made to defeat the person...
They didn't neomail me back. ^__^
In any case, it dosen't matter. I liked it!

For all of these say:
I do not beleve I copied Calvin And Hobbes. I am an avid reader of the series and cannot deny takeing one or two ideas here and there. Any profesional writer will tell you that writing (especialy in the times) is hardly ever completly ones own idea. The most famous books from dickens to Rowling will all find origins in older books e.g. lor of the rings. I and alot of the famous Nt authrs you hold dear, are all members of the Times Writer Forum, and all will tell you we are constantly giving and sharing ideas. So next time, dont be so quick to blame.
See everyone here saw you put up your own ideas and send it in, so even if they dont beleve, we all know the truth.

Oh, she's calm. She gets SCARY when she isn't. It's the bawling baby aisha that gives you the impression that she is very upset.

You know - I don't see a similarity, but I can see how others might.
The doctor's sense of humour is reminiscent of Calvin's dad.
